- Are Slip Ons BETTER Than 2 to 1 Exhaust for Harley Street Bob 114!?? I have had the experience of both Slip Ons and 2 to 1 on my Harley Street Bob. So which is the better option for your motorcycle. I will give my experience with both and give my opinion on which I like better. I will also give some sounds comparisons of both.

In softail the cat is in muffler, in bagger cat in head pipe. Slip ons work good in performance in softail.
Ive had Bassani slip ons as well as my current bassani 2 into 1 for my Sporty 48 and i can honestly say ill never put anything but 2 into 1 exhausts on any Harleys I own from here on out. Love the deep sound thats not STUPID loud. Loud enough, but not crazy. Plus atleast with my bike, the power i picked up from the 2 to 1 was worth it in itself. Also love your content man! Awesome seeing you ride around roads i know. Keep up the awesome vids my dude!
Yeah thanks man! Right on 2 to 1 is great
I love my cobra neighbors and the out out a good sound and have gotten compliments on them. At this time, I don’t see me dropping another $900 to put on a full exhaust when I think I’m getting the same kind of sound.
I think they are pretty solid. Love my new 2 to 1 though
Neighbor haters take power away vs other pairs of mufflers and a 2-1 gives the best performance and great sound. I had neighbor haters. They are not good in my unasked for opinion
So far my sporty is all stock but I don't think I'll veer away from HD pipes or tuning. I dont think anything will give the complete package I appreciate ie; emissions ( yes I like proper emissions so i dont stink like exhaust when i get home) smooth power delivery, consistency with that power delivery.
Nothing wrong with that 👌
My '23 Low Rider S stock is embarrassingly quiet. I think I'll do the Cobra NH just cuz its quick, cheap and easy to do over the winter Roads are already salted here in NH so the bike is in hibernation. When I find myself swimming in money again, I'll throw caution to the wind and dump silly $$$ into the machine.
I think you'll like them I would recommend
I'm seeing guys do the stage 2 with just quality slip ons and there is less reversion and no dip in the torque curve
Seems like a decent option
I like the 2 : 1 got the rumble. Great vid. 👍
To bad there isn't more Street Bob content.....
I prefer stock headers and slip ons with thunder torque lolipops because I think the bike rides alot smoother than a full aftermarket system. Also the stock headers are actually very good its the stock mufflers where all the restriction happens with a few exceptions when cats are in headers.
I did like how smooth the slip ons were
@@TheMotoJawn Yeah I had a full Python Throwback exhaust system on my Iron 883 and they sounded very good but were way too loud and made the bike almost unrideable above 65 so I went to my stock headers and cheap HD Radium slip ons with thunder torque inserts and it was night and day difference. Not only did it ride so much smoother, it sounded perfect like halfway between stock and my pythons but also the power felt alot more linear like you described with yours. I can cruise much better at higher speeds now. Granted it will be much more exaggerated of a problem being a small engine in comparison to something like your Street Bob which has significantly more top end and better gears and lower rpms at higher speeds so this may only be noticeable for a smaller bike like mine and similar. I really am hoping to get the street bob though next once I can afford it cuz it's my favorite Harley. I really want the Stonewash White color but they only gave that option on 2021 models. Hope they bring that color option back.
@CantTreadOnMe for sure I would definitely recommend a Bob if you can get your hand on one. I love mine. Luckily I've seen prices coming down too on the used market
2 in to 1 looks and sounds good but noticed the rear pegs missing to fit them no passengers ???
I had to remove them on that side for tue install. But there is a hole to relocate them to keep them just a little higher
you ever ride out in the Lower Bucks area? I ride my Street Bob for commUting, but would love to find some nice scenic areas to ride. As for slip-ons vs 2-into-1, I have both (V&H slip-ons, Bassani 2-into-1) and wouldn't even consider going back to the slip-ons.
Yeah I make it out there every now and then
Anything better than stock, 2nt1 for a bit more performance and sound effects.
I have TAB Preformance Slip-On with Zombie baffles and my Street Bob is loud as f**k…
A friend of mine has those and they sound great
nothing about the oxygen sensers. 2 on each exhaust. What's happened to your ECU? How did you get round it?
US only has 2 02 sensors on the header. Not the mufflers
I’ve got S&S slip ons, sounds good but basically just looks stock. I agree full exhaust replacement gives it a custom look and better sound.
Side note does your gas cap rattle? Mine drives me nuts ha ha
It does rattle drives me crazy. Need to fix it
2-1 all day. more power best sound. my buddy has VH short shots and mine sounds so much better
Agreed 👍
video should have ended at "nope". LOL. slip ons are not better ever. A full system is always going to be better. Stock headers are choked to high heavens. whether you run a 2-1 or a 2-2 or 2-1-2 your bike is going to run better, youre going to get better numbers and more performance out of your bike. The first thing anybody should do when they get a new bike, change their exhaust and then their bars. Get your bike up to Chuck at Throttle City and let him tune your bike and you'll notice the difference. Put a cam into your 114" and that bike will make over 120HP. Check my video for my Bagger with a 2-1 and 475 cam. 123hp/126tq
Where is throttle city?
not gonna lie, I like the slip ons better
what tuner did you use with the 2-1 exhaust? @themotojawn
I don't have a tuner on it
@@TheMotoJawnget a tuner.
