Love my 2020 street Bob, 3gallon tank is a bummer, brakes are terrible. That’s really all I have as far as complaints.

The spring plate in the clutch pack is the one "design" issue on the Sporty EVO. It's a common preventive measure to replace the clutch pack (before the rivets go and destroy the clutch basket) with one that doesn't contain the spring plate (i.e. Barnett Clutch). Other than that, the Sporty EVO is pretty much bulletproof. Smart man... I would NEVER, EVER, get rid of the Sporty either. You'll never be able to replace the unique character of that bike with something that's new. That Sporty EVO may is arguably the best engine that HD ever made. It's a heirloom bike. As to the Street Bob... Great bike... But uncertain why one would get one as a second bike when one has a Sporty. Seems too similar. Perhaps a second bike might be selected to fit a need/niche that the Sporty isn't well suited for... Like long distance or two-up riding/comfort. Maybe something like a Heritage, Deluxe, Road King etc. But, to each their own. Whatever works.

I like the HD LED light blinker sequence better. The white halo is completely off when the turn signal is activated, then comes back on when deactivated. I do like the full DLR of the RRR though.

The street Bob has had abs since they started putting the 114 engine in them

Since I bought it I have been on rides with people that have experience and that has helped a whole lot..

My experience consisted of 2 times around the block on a 82 Kawasaki in 1992 and 1 time around a parking lot on a 50…So that being said I bought a 2023 Street Bob 114, 7 miles on it when I bought it and 1000 miles later I’m loving this bike, I live in LA county, through the city or on the freeway this bike was perfect for me…my confidence levels were through the roof though without being cocky just confident I could handle it. Anyways we are all different if you’re not confident that you can handle this bike go with a sportster. I pretty much had no experience but I’ve had friends jump on this and it a little intimidating to them and they are pretty much beginners. I just think I really wanted to get it plus I did watch videos and had a lot of conversations with guys with bikes, just being able to sit in their bikes it gives you a measure. So that being said for a real newbie that doesn’t have the confidence it’s a no go…

My biggest regret is not starting to ride sooner. Bucket list thing I guess. I'm 64 and have been riding about a year. Took the msf in sept. and just love it. Ride to work whenever I can. '05 Harley Sportster 1200 Roadster.
