Remember last night? Yeah, when I said I used your video to reassemble my Slingfire? Yeah, so, I made all the same mistakes you did, and fiddle-farted around until I got the teeth just right. I literally did all that this evening. Like, I put the last screw in my blaster about 15 minutes before this video went live. At least I appreciate this video so much more. Fantastic addendum. Great teaching cadence. Excellent mechanical explanation. Epic beard. Keep it up.
my god this helped me so much. today i was just looking into my sling fire and when i went to put it back i literaly couldnt find the gears which fit so i watched this and it works like a charm, thanks xavier for this vid you literaly saved my a-- i mean my slingfire!
Hey cap, seeing as you are doing modding tips, have you considered doing a mod kit guide? Say, the retaliator alloy pump kit? I propose that mainly because I’ve seen a lot of people buy one of those, and get very confused as they got no instructions, and the only video I can find on the subject is in German. Of course, these things would be expensive if not sent by worker, so you can completely disregard my points. Keep having fun!
Could you possibly do a wiring guide/tutorial on 2 stage flywheel blasters? Specifically including how to wire your own mosfet without using a premade board. I've been doing research into it and I'm thoroughly confused.
Yeah, I gave up on learning how to wire my own mosfet. I just use a board. As for wiring a second stage, it is exactly the same as wiring one cage, just split the wires to the second cage as well.
It does not have the same internals. The Modulus Longstrike is direct plunger. However, this basically makes it the same as a Retaliator so it still almost certainly cannot. However, I do not have one, so no I currently cannot do an episode on it.
At 2:18 my grey slide was off by several notches and when I tried pushing it to the right it wouldn't move much and it even pooped out of position. Any recommendations if the grey slide doesn't move?
I have a problem with mine the little part that makes the clicking sound goes way over the little thing and my gun like when doing the little thing to cock it toward it click like 3/4 the way and after that it doesn’t work
My slingfire has a problem where the bolt sled won't lock all the way forward making the trigger seize up and the lever get stiff it won't fire unless I open the jam door and push the bolt all the way forward manually and it wont go back either without me pushing the bolt back. Is there any way to fix this the same issue also happens to my retaliator but not as often?
If i pull the leaver all the way up it feels weird and doesn’t sound good. Then i cant even switch magazines till i push it back down a bit. Anyone else have this problem?
@@Bry3and 3 years ago i fixed to problem by machining a piece of aluminum that would fit in the last 2 - 3 mm of the hole where the leaver moved, therefore blocking the part where it felt weird. It was shaped to be glued (or taped with double sided tape) on the outside of the shell. Worked well ever since. I don’t know if the gears were aligned or not, but i didn’t open If because at the other end of where the leaver moved it felt like it was aligned just right. i could send you a picture but i don’t know how lol
@@Bry3andok so i just checked the alignment and it is in fact right. I guess the plastic stopper is just worn out allowing the leaver to go to far. So my solution with the extra aluminum stopper is right i guess.
you are the GOAT. was trying to sell my beauty sling and it needed some adjustments on the gear alignment

Thanks for the name Check Capt.
(I am Kris,)
This is better than my video. Phone was full..
I can't believe he did this and the last video after I spent four hours wrestling with six slingfires on monday
Now I just need to get a sledgefire...
Me: "Careful, he's a hero" =DD
Thanks my friend! You've made my kid happy today.
Bravo Kris, and thank you for the addendum Captain!
No problems.
It was Capt. Saying he found a mark that made me go looking for the others.

You have great talent with this stuff, keep going their will always be people who love your videos, I am one of them.
This is extremely helpful. Gears can be annoying.
I have a slingfire that skipped a tooth somewhere, this is extremely useful, ill be able to fix it now
I wish I had all these rebuild guides a few months ago😞
Same
You saved alot off ppl alot of time and frustration I thank you Captain Xavier!
Tis' Wednesday here, but Mod Monday shall commence!
I've never modded a Slingfire, but I thought this was interesting.
Alright, I'm going to thrift for a Slingfire upon donating old/unused clothes tomorrow!

I have done some when sent them to review.
@@CaptainXavier good to know, I now realize I did not do any needed research for prior kit reviews. My bad.
Coop772 did a writeup on nerfhaven way back, heres the link nerfhaven.com/forums/topic/26105-retaliator-modification-guide-supreme-hvz-primary/

Good morning cap
My time
Thank u captain
Thank you bro❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you I saw it but I thought it was just the camera and lifhting not changes in design
Hi Captain Xavier can you do a can it take a k26 the modulus long strike
well it has the same internals as any other long strike and he already did a video on the original and the answer was no

@@CaptainXavier o sorry for the mistake

Figure out what is keeping it from moving...and correct it.

It sounds like your gears are misaligned. I recommend realigning them.
@@CaptainXavier the gears are in line It seems like the problem is with the bolt sled it's self
@@nobodyofimportance9317 is it warped?
@@CaptainXavier no it looks just like the one you had in the video it's fine
