Hi Joe! Came across your channel few days ago and I'm genuinely amazed by all these tips and knowledge you're sharing with us to help make our dream come true.
Kudos for the combined documents tip: did that for my previous application and turned out to be very appreciated 😊
Thank you for you effort, please keep it up! 😁

Unfortunately, I'm also going to add on this point because sadly, it's still prevalent in 2023. There's also been a lot of discrimination when it comes to application names depending on if it sounds too "foreign" meaning no matter what skills and even if you follow all the points, they'll reject you regardless. I've known someone who's been a victim of this where they've applied to the same company after being rejected but changed their name to something more "western" and immediately got an interview. It's pretty depressing and honestly, it something that I wish more recruiters were more honest about

You're right that unfortunately we live in a world with unconscious bias. I think you may like this video ua-cam.com/video/8k775-TKJK8/v-deo.html

Hi Joe, how many times would you recommend applying to a single company - provided the applicant has been rejected for all previous openings? I've heard people apply to certain companies 40 times before getting accepted. In these difficult times, the number would've been much higher because of the talent pool - especially when one is applying internationally.

What you want to avoid is looking like you're spamming applications thoughtlessly. Applying over and over again to the same roles with the same profile is not a good look. Instead be purposeful, each time apply to no more than 3 and follow up with people at the company. If you're rejected, try hard to get some feedback and hold off for a few months until you apply again. You want to be selective with the roles you apply for.
