You have to do the Christian Fundamentalist community (fundie) it’s wild and a great cross over with mommy vlogs. Fundie Fridays is a great channel for reference
The way that I was listening on Spotify and literally thought that Mommy Vloger person was real and I was so shocked to hear what she was saying, but also been like “Sarah?! Wtf?!” Turns out I’m just an idiot and took everything so serious 😅
I kept scrolling past this video cause I thought it was a podcast made by mommy vloggers and I had no idea Sarah had anything to do with it💀🤦🏽♀️ we’re not the brightest fans
Literally writing my archaeology based dissertation while listening to this - start with Intro to Arch or Intro to Anth if you want a great intro! (Though it'll be humans and not dinos :) )
Body-doubling-type videos are so helpful to me. I literally would not have been able to finish my first year of college this year without "study with me" videos.
Omg this episode really got me together 😂 My mum is not a mummy blogger but she is convinced that dandelion tea stops covid. My younger siblings are not vaccinated, are home schooled and illiterate at 10 and 13 years old 😅
When Kendahl said she reads in a British accent, I related so hard. I also have ADHD and I find that reading aloud helps me focus on the book I'm reading.
Flash from the future, I am rewatching this episode in 2024 May, and its crazy to see where these wonderful people were at during this time, VS now. DEEPLY proud of the people they have both become over the last many months, as I was DEEPLY proud of the people they used to be as well. Talk about two people crushing it in this world
As a former homeschooled child that is now in college, I watched my fellow homeschooled kids learn ABSOLUTELY NOTHING whilst I did online programs and actually learned things. Homeschooling can be horrible and it's terrifying
hearing mention of the dougherty dozen made me jolt, I go to school with the older kids. it's been bizarre getting information from classmates and my mom's facebook observations. I really feel bad for all the kids and how they've been shoved into this spotlight, it definitely hasn't had a good effect on the one who i'm graduating with.
Sara I think you were referring to tiger parenting! It’s a highly restrictive and rigid form of parenting that puts major focus on the future success of the child, and it’s often seen as overbearing and harsh
I was listening to the podcast last night while high and i dint know it was Kendahl talking so i was so SHOOK at how she was saying those wild things. 😭😭
I wanted to say thank you. This video is what finally confirmed to me that I have face blindness. I'd had suspicions, but I really thought you were interviewing a completely different person and didn't have the excuse the podcast listeners do. You have saved me a lot of time!!
@user-ob7mm4qn3y No worries, it's pretty funny!! But yea, it's a legit thing. It's not that I literally can't see faces; I just can't recognize them later if they're in a different context (like seeing your teacher at the grocery store) or if other aspects are different (changing hair color or style...like when she pulls her hair up in this video). I thought I just had a really bad memory for a long time 😶
I love when people are open about their learning disabilities, for I personally struggle my whole life with one. I love this podcast style, it's funny and serious.
Neither of you should feel bad about having to slow down or repeat things you read - honestly im autistic and have bad auditory processing and also adhd so i constantly have to go back to listen again with ppl who talk too fast - like basically from another perspective yall are making this more accessible to other disabled people by being patient with yourself .
lavender embolism about sent me into overdrive 😂😂😂 this is so good, it’s bittersweet seeing the studio set up differently but i’m so excited for this podcast. you guys are amazing! cant wait to see where this goes
As an infant/toddler educator, I loved the piece about not having to involve and exploit your child to do a family or mommy vlog. Everything I’ve learned in my practice in terms of education has been through adult-led courses by trained professionals. We should develop our own experiences with children in the real world rather than exploiting them for money and views😊
When I saw this I cried I’m so happy I get to watch long videos with Sarah I just love her. Sarah has to me one of my main comfort youtubers to watch, she’s so funny and relatable, I’m so excited to learn more about kendrahl I’ve never seen any of her content but I’m at most 5 mins in and I love the energy between the two of you❤ thank u guys for this podcast
they started talking about body doubling and that is literally what i’m doing with this podcast rn. i don’t need the other person to be doing the same thing as me, i just want someone to sit with me while i do work. visual podcasts are great for me.
omg thank you so much for talking about mommy vlogs. I used to watch Texan in Tokyo just before/during 2016 and I remembered them recently but couldn't recall the channel name. At least now I can go back and rewatch their old stuff ^_^
Last summer I also wanted to be an archeologist because I found some glass shards in my vegetable garden. I then dug in the dirt for hours, but only found trash and glass.
One of the scariest things about this is the fact it is unlimited, unfiltered, and quickly produced content that any perv can find on UA-cam. Plus UA-cam pushes it and these vloggers tend to put more focus on the money coming in and not the safety and security of the family
Just started the pod and the bits at the end are so original and absolutely amazing. y’all are so great together ! Happy you got another pod S. And glad to find another favorite human K!
i love this so much more than brittany and sarah. kendhal and sarah are much more understanding about each others trouble with speaking/reading, i dont feel any passive aggressiveness or anger lol its alot more comforting and nice to watch.
Archaeology is a very adhd heavy field, at least on the west coast. If you’re interested in the learning aspect, the intro classes are at most community colleges and then you could do a field school and see if you actually like it. I’d talk to some working archaeologists before getting too far down that road. Edit: I never graduated high school but took my time and now have a master’s. In archaeology. You can do it!
Yesss!! I watched the podcast with Brittany broski and loved it. I’m a HUGE Kendahl landredth fan and I’m so excited to see Sarah and Kendahl together!! Can’t wait to support the podcast ❤
This honestly makes my heart happy 😊 very very cool to see two hilarious people now have an awesome podcast....I followed you both separately before and like I didn't even know ya'll were friends!?!?!?! But it makes so much sense... it all tracks!! So excited for what's to come, this was 🤌🏻CHEF'S KISS!!! Thanks so much for sharing!!!!
OH Kendahl I have a suggestion in he vein of archeology! The LA Brea Tar pits are excavated for very well preserved fossils and a part of the job is using dental tools and brushes to carefully remove dry tar from bones. There are many steps to the cleaning process but I wonder if they have either a public tour available or people to point you in the direction of educational means to join their teams. Love this podcast already and sorry, i am a little zooted
I wish the algorithm understood a rebrand because this should have been on my home page 2 weeks ago. I'm subscribed and gonna binge the first three episodes so hopefully the youtube gods will catch on
I grew up like 15 minutes from the Jon and Kate plus 8 family and everybody here has their own horror story about running into Kate in public. Jon still lives around the same area and a couple years ago he was the DJ at the local carnival thing and everybody kept asking him for pictures lmao
The mommy vlogger at the end had me laughing my ass off. I hope that somehow turns into an every episode thing 😅 your guys back and forth, the fact that it was all off the cuff? So impressive and hilarious. Love it!
You could totally take intro to archaeology and if you like it you can try a “field school” which is like the basics of doing archaeology in the field!!
I have ADD and am graduating this semester! For me, college can be hard when it comes to tests but those with learning disabilities are able to have accommodations based on what you have. I'd say just do it and see how it works for you!
I didn't know about this podcast until now! I wanted to go for archaeology when I was a kid, but then my friend said I needed to be good at maths, and I have dyscalculia. Dreams destroyed at like seven years old lmao.
i think that dinossaur archeology is paleonthology. it's a lot of biology for dinos and a lot of biology and history and social studies for archeology. i felt like writting this comment just bc i also have undiagnosed ADHD and learning disabilities and im studying anthropology rn and hoping to also major in archeology one day. let's fucking go
23:22 they are talking about how these tik toks will have aesthetic fridge restocking videos and ask where their real food is. These people probably have “butler pantries” which is basically a second kitchen in the pantry and that’s problaly where they have their real fridges. This way they can have their aesthetic kitchens and a “real” kitchen
“I’ve thrown up in a lot of places I’m very tight with a lot of janitors” SARAH PLEEEAASEE 💀
i listened to this while i was driving and i’m so embarrassed that i genuinely thought it was a mommy blogger, i was like “wow this girl is crazy”
LMAO I was thinking the same thing I had put it on while I was working outside and my jaw was on the floor for some of the stuff she was saying
You have to do the Christian Fundamentalist community (fundie) it’s wild and a great cross over with mommy vlogs. Fundie Fridays is a great channel for reference
Yes!
LOVE Fundie Fridays!
This is a fantastic idea. I love Fundie Friday’s so much too
Jennonites Unite!
I second this
Kendall’s portrayal of a mommy vlogger was waaaay too believable. Wow, you sounded just like some folks I’ve come across online 😅
The comedic talent just BURSTING from this podcast is so incredibly perfect, already my favorite podcast.
"college funds... yes... yeah..."
this podcast is already a fav, love this improv
Kendhal talking about her adhd tests and learning disabilities is a vibe, fellow ND person, adhd and autism, i relate so hard
The way that I was listening on Spotify and literally thought that Mommy Vloger person was real and I was so shocked to hear what she was saying, but also been like “Sarah?! Wtf?!” Turns out I’m just an idiot and took everything so serious 😅
dude the same thing just happened to me lol I wondering why Sarah was just going along with it
I came here thinking the same thing 😂
I kept scrolling past this video cause I thought it was a podcast made by mommy vloggers and I had no idea Sarah had anything to do with it💀🤦🏽♀️ we’re not the brightest fans
Same ahaha, “all premies, born at 4 months” is where I was like…wait….
Same I felt like it was a joke but actually got through like 5 minutes of it thinking it was a different person
Sarah's quick wittedness is the perfect garnish to Kendahl's humor. The improv at the end was so CREATIVE and unique.
they could just have a guest every episode whose sole job is to read for them 😭💀
I’d do it - Twink the drag queen
Literally writing my archaeology based dissertation while listening to this - start with Intro to Arch or Intro to Anth if you want a great intro! (Though it'll be humans and not dinos :) )
Body-doubling-type videos are so helpful to me. I literally would not have been able to finish my first year of college this year without "study with me" videos.
During the whole “interview” part of the video, I was laughing my ass off 😂 I need to see more episodes of this!
Loved this. I was hesitant to see a new show when VCG ended, but this new dynamic is lovely. CONGRATS
Omg this episode really got me together 😂
My mum is not a mummy blogger but she is convinced that dandelion tea stops covid. My younger siblings are not vaccinated, are home schooled and illiterate at 10 and 13 years old 😅
That is very disturbing especially the illiterate part
Omg wow
They bounce off each other so well, and Kendrahl is SO good at characters and improv, my god!
When Kendahl said she reads in a British accent, I related so hard. I also have ADHD and I find that reading aloud helps me focus on the book I'm reading.
The Casey Aonso shout-out!! Also I love how Kendahl's mommy vlogger impression sounds like Drew Barrymore 💀
Flash from the future, I am rewatching this episode in 2024 May, and its crazy to see where these wonderful people were at during this time, VS now.

The interview part fucking killed me the whole time😭😭😭 I already love this sm
Sara I think you were referring to tiger parenting! It’s a highly restrictive and rigid form of parenting that puts major focus on the future success of the child, and it’s often seen as overbearing and harsh
As a big fan of violating community guidelines, I really loved this change of pace. Kendahl is so funny and bounces off Sarah so well!
AHHHH!!! so so excited to have Sarah back on a podcast!! missed these vibes so much thank you for sharing yourselves with us
I was listening to the podcast last night while high and i dint know it was Kendahl talking so i was so SHOOK at how she was saying those wild things. 😭😭
I wanted to say thank you. This video is what finally confirmed to me that I have face blindness. I'd had suspicions, but I really thought you were interviewing a completely different person and didn't have the excuse the podcast listeners do.
You have saved me a lot of time!!
i'm so sorry but this comment made me laugh. is face blindness a real thing? a genuine question.
I thought I just had a really bad memory for a long time 😶
@@EverydayVagaries oohh! thank you for telling me :) but like; you do recognize people close to you, right?
no because why did y’all have me in the first half thinking this was a for real mommy blogger 💀 I already love this podcast sm
I love when people are open about their learning disabilities, for I personally struggle my whole life with one.
I love this podcast style, it's funny and serious.

Omggg i put jean shorts whenever i have to do homework and it absolutely works, helps me get less distracted and stay in the task
Okay good I needed a Sarah podcast. None of my dishes have been done since the last one
Kendahl calling out Cleantok culture just did SO much for me. They always made me feel so bad about myself lol
they started talking about body doubling and that is literally what i’m doing with this podcast rn. i don’t need the other person to be doing the same thing as me, i just want someone to sit with me while i do work. visual podcasts are great for me.
omg thank you so much for talking about mommy vlogs. I used to watch Texan in Tokyo just before/during 2016 and I remembered them recently but couldn't recall the channel name. At least now I can go back and rewatch their old stuff ^_^
omg im so happy I missed you Sarah
“publicly yes, privately no” literally had me cackling
Last summer I also wanted to be an archeologist because I found some glass shards in my vegetable garden. I then dug in the dirt for hours, but only found trash and glass.
I don't know how you guys did not break character, the matter of fact deliveries has me dead 💀💀💀
One of the scariest things about this is the fact it is unlimited, unfiltered, and quickly produced content that any perv can find on UA-cam. Plus UA-cam pushes it and these vloggers tend to put more focus on the money coming in and not the safety and security of the family
Ok I love this podcast and Kendall is perfect for this, but I still miss my girl Brittany Broski 💕💕
Just started the pod and the bits at the end are so original and absolutely amazing. y’all are so great together ! Happy you got another pod S. And glad to find another favorite human K!
Ohhh Dinos aren’t part of archeology lol. That’s paleontology (I’m an archeologist, this is one of our biggest pet peeves)
i love this so much more than brittany and sarah. kendhal and sarah are much more understanding about each others trouble with speaking/reading, i dont feel any passive aggressiveness or anger lol its alot more comforting and nice to watch.
How am I only just now finding this podcast 2 months later when I’m on UA-cam every day and watched every episode of Sarah’s last podcast
"Publicly yes, privately no" i almost choked with my coffee at work
I was too, I'm like what does that even look like
I already loved y’all as a duo and this podcast set up, but the interview bit at the end had me rolling 😂 I am so ready to see more episodes roll out!
Sarah. The Hobbit is only 304 pages 😂😂😂😂
Archaeology is a very adhd heavy field, at least on the west coast. I have ADHD and have a BA in Cultural Anthropology. 😂 soo yes, that’s accurate 💯
Her character is hilarious along with the sarcasm of Sarah
you perfectly described what I mean when I tell people I can’t read , thank you ❤
Yesss!! I watched the podcast with Brittany broski and loved it. I’m a HUGE Kendahl landredth fan and I’m so excited to see Sarah and Kendahl together!! Can’t wait to support the podcast ❤
You guys have great energy together and it’s all I hoped for and then some, looking forward to more
This honestly makes my heart happy 😊 very very cool to see two hilarious people now have an awesome podcast....I followed you both separately before and like I didn't even know ya'll were friends!?!?!?! Me, cleaning while this podcast plays on my tv. I literally stopped cleaning to come comment this because I related so hard. 😂
OH Kendahl I have a suggestion in he vein of archeology! so glad to have more of you doing podcasts
The mommy vlogger at the end had me laughing my ass off. I hope that somehow turns into an every episode thing 😅 your guys back and forth, the fact that it was all off the cuff? So impressive and hilarious. Love it!
listened to the audio version first but knew i had to watch the interview- so worth it
"THANK GOD SHE POSTED" but aimed at you two, this was great, looking forwards to the rest of them
No alcohol is tough at first, but after a few weeks, it starts getting easy.
So excited for more of this! Two of my faves!
i read like 2 books last year and I'm still riding that high. I wish your reading journey well!
You could totally take intro to archaeology and if you like it you can try a “field school” which is like the basics of doing archaeology in the field!!
I really enjoyed it! My ADD ass was able to pay attention to the whole episode. I’m looking forward to more!!
I have ADD and am graduating this semester! For me, college can be hard when it comes to tests but those with learning disabilities are able to have accommodations based on what you have. I'd say just do it and see how it works for you!
YO. THATS WHY I DO FOR CLEANING THE HOUSE. I PUT JEANS AND SHOES ON TO GET EVERYTHING DONE IN ONE GO.
Omg I can’t believe I have the same cup as my favorite mommy vlogger, Ketleigh. I’m literally drinking out of it right now!
i am SO EXCITED about this podcast i love y’all’s energy already
Sarah I think you could be a stand up comedian. Out of all the UA-camrs who think they are funny, your the one I always think of.
I didn't know about this podcast until now!
I wanted to go for archaeology when I was a kid, but then my friend said I needed to be good at maths, and I have dyscalculia. Dreams destroyed at like seven years old lmao.
I'm so happy this exists while I'm alive
i think that dinossaur archeology is paleonthology. it's a lot of biology for dinos and a lot of biology and history and social studies for archeology. i felt like writting this comment just bc i also have undiagnosed ADHD and learning disabilities and im studying anthropology rn and hoping to also major in archeology one day. let's fucking go
How did I not know about this?!?! This is awesome!!
Congrats on the new podcast! ❤️
What an absolute blessing 🥲
Im absolutely obsessed with this podcast
idk what book sarah was thinking of but it sure as hell wasn't the hobbit
I love the concept of the podcast! You guys did great!
feeling really seen by kendahl about the SATs
WHY DIDN'T I KNOW ABOUT THIS PODCAST 😭 LOVE THIS
23:22 they are talking about how these tik toks will have aesthetic fridge restocking videos and ask where their real food is. These people probably have “butler pantries” which is basically a second kitchen in the pantry and that’s problaly where they have their real fridges. Body doubling is an in person thing for me but I am gonna try the video body doubling for studying now!
Omg the guy who cleaned up his wife’s puke was Matt. Matt and Abby 😭😭
This is gonna be gooood
Edit: The episode is over and I want more!!
I thought her shirt with the lady sleeping under stars was a burger for waaaay too long. Honestly, it sounds like a great design idea tho
I didn’t realize the interview was fake until over halfway through cuz I was high and this shit was so believable but also so funny
I’m so excited for this!! Coming for sarah, staying both of you! Love your guys dynamic together.
When I have to read sometimes I will act like I’m reading in class like in school. That way I actually read it and then I understand it lol
I'm upset i didn't realise this was out sooner! Regardless, I'm here now with 3 eps to watch woo!!
Cannot wait for more episodes, you guys are great!
I’ve been sooooo excited for this to come out!
Love love love love everything THIS IS EVERYTHING
Loving this new podcast already!!!
