Lyrics to the Song: (When you want to sing along 😊) Don't matter what you look like Don't matter what you wear How many rings you got on your finger We don't care, no, we don't care Don't matter where you come from Don't even matter what you are A dog, a pig, a cow, a goat Got em' all in here, we got em' all in here If they all knew what they wanted What they wanted, need to do I told 'em what they needed Just like I be telling you You gotta dig a little deeper Find out who you are You gotta dig a little deeper It really ain't that far When you found out who you are You find out what you need Blue skies and sun shine Guaranteed You gotta dig, dig You gotta dig, dig Prince Froggy is a rich little boy You wanna be rich again That ain't gonna make you happy now Did it make you happy then? No Money ain't got no soul Money ain't got no heart All you need is some self-control Make yourself a brand new start You gotta dig a little deeper Don't have far to go You gotta dig a little deeper Tell the people Mama told you so Can't tell you what you'll find Maybe love or grant you a piece of mind Dig a little deeper and you'll know Miss Froggy, might I have a word? You's a hard one, that's what I heard Your daddy was a loving man Family through and through You your daddy's daughter What he had in him you got in you You gotta dig a little deeper For you it's gonna be tough You gotta dig a little deeper You ain't dug this far enough Dig down deep inside yourself You'll found out what you need Blue skies and sunshine Guaranteed Open up the window Let in the light, dearie Blue skies and sunshine Blue skies and sunshine Blue skies and sunshine Guaranteed
Wow! I've been playing for years and this is simply amazing! You did a fantastic job with a ragtime undertone!! I have subscribed to your channel to hear more!
I really love your ragtime covers. It inspired me to try playing ragtime instead of classical music, and I'm having a great time. Now that I'm getting comfortable on the piano I need to find a way to play it on accordeon
I came across your videos while looking and listening to Johnny Hodges and Jonny May's stuff at DL. Of course, I saw a couple of yours, too. What a difference a year makes. Looking at your videos from last year, I was thinking 'You'd make a wonderful person for creating piano rolls.' Your sense of timing is very precise, your notes are perfect, and last year, your music was totally lifeless. Now, I don't say that to be mean, but it didn't energize me, it didn't move me. I can't do what you do, my playing is nowhere near the caliber that you play at, and that's fine, I enjoy what I do with what I have. But, in listening to this, you're starting to loosen up, your music is becoming more of a part of you. Ragtime and Stride were the precursors to swing and jazz, and what recordings I've heard of original rag and stride always showed that, at least to me. So, not that you may listen, it's fine if you don't, but loosen up a bit, add a bit of swing to your music, jazz it up a bit, if not in your notes, at least in your timing, I hope that one day, maybe, you'll be playing and getting paid by Disney. I think that would be great. You're on the road there. I also hope that you don't take offense at what I've said, it's what I hear and what I see.
It is so nice to watch you play and your sense of humor amuses me. I can only dream of playing like you. Thank you from a fan in Toronto. Ps. your brother is funny too, but not as cute as you.
I wonder if Mama Odie will be in the TV series when it comes out next year? Even more important, we need more Louis moments too, especially in the series! There just wasn't too much of either of those two characters in the movie.

This would sound fantastic in a saloon.
Would you consider playing "Railroad Rag" from "Summer Magic?" The movie, released in 1963, starred Hayley Mills and Burl Ives. Or maybe a medley, including, "Ugly Bug Ball" and "Pink of Perfection." Just a thought.
This one has an edge to it that I find oddly compelling.
