Good for him, it makes me happy to see him do well. Easily one of the best tv sitcoms. Portrayed poverty in a working class family in such a realistic way.
By American standards they were definitely in poverty. But largely because of bad financial decisions. They have a much nicer house and live in a much better neighborhood than most Americans in poverty would live in. Other than the house, they lived a poverty lifestyle, perhaps because they were spending lots of money to pay for Francis's military camp.
@@jougetsu what classes are you talking about? Dewey is an elite piano prodigy and they won't even buy him an 88 key keyboard. He gets a shitty 30 dollar looking keyboard. Maybe they're not in poverty, but the kids live a poverty lifestyle because the parents are negligent. Hal spends 1000 dollars to rent a truck to run things over, but they won't shell out 200 dollars for an 88 key keyboard, or better yet, find someone giving away an upright piano for free. They had plenty enough room for an upright and it's not hard to find people giving those away for cheap or free.

Frankie, Steve Erwin, Bernie Mac, Robin Williams and Stan Lee were my idols growing up...I regret not being able to meet Steve or Bernie or Stan or Robin before they passed but I wish I could shake Frankie's hand while he's still with us. Thanks for being a huge part of our childhood
Very diverse list 👌

The parking lot idea is so damn straight forward. How did I not come up with that.
That parking lot idea was brilliant. He understood volume over price perfectly.
I grew up watching this guy and I’m super glad he’s doing well. Many child actors get twisted by Hollywood and it’s good to see one of them get out and enjoy the fruits of their labor
What does Hollywood due to all the kids
Only because they get molested and passed around executives like party favors
@@lalofromthepalo4923 molest and exploit them
I love Frankie's just "mhmm" at the "you must have had a whopping amount of money by 18"
My band played a show with his band at a VERY small club in Albany, NY back in 2016 (I think). He was one of the most humble and down to earth people I've ever met. Super cool dude. Great to see he's still doing well.
This guy seems like such a good dude.
Right like Hollywood didn’t get its claws into him. Seems mentally and physically healthy.
@@dontbestupid6664 He got out at the right time and obviously had good people looking out for his interests it seems. He likely has good parents
love frankies vibe and genuine enthusiasm
Seems like a cool, humble guy. Im always happy when i see people who were in the spotlight as kids grow up to become humble and seemingly have no issues. Very happy to see he seems to be a cool guy with his head in the right place.
He had a tough time in his early adolescence, it's why he dropped out of the limelight when he did to focus on his health and private life.
Was an excellent decision, it gave him a stable foundation to move into his later life.
@@EyebrowsGaming Agree. Really glad he did that.
Great show. Great cast. Everything about that show was perfect. Top ten best tv sitcoms ever. Happy to know he was just as smart as his character.
One of the few child stars who did not completely self-destruct.. Way to go Frankie!
I grew up watching Malcolm in The Middle.
I’ve seen all the episodes multiple times and I can say that it’s a show I’ll keep close to me for the rest of my life. Got me thru a lot of rough times.
Frankie Muniz seems like such a polite and chill guy. Godbless him and his family. This is not only an awesome episode, but it’s RARE. Frankie usually doesn’t do podcasts or interviews.
It’d be cool to see more of him.
It was the best show. I used to wake up early before school to watch it.
Insane i’ve watched the entire show every single episode over i would say 4 times ñ i’m gonna keep doing it
Having only recently found out about the memory loss thing being media nonsense, it's charming to hear him talking about what he does remember so candidly and charmingly.
He also talks about this in this podcast. Have you seen it?
@@itania14 yes dear, that's the point
Oh my god yeah so he still lost some memory just not a lot? I was so sad and afraid that his memory loss was really bad and it brings me goosebumps and a smile watching him talk about what he remembers from the show
@@bruhlips4498 that's the thing, there was no 'memory loss', he explains in a different portion of the interview that journalists totally misrepresented what he'd said. He'd basically said he didn't remember in the same way that anyone at a busy job only remembers bits and pieces, they blew this up into amnesia.
@@LudvigIndestrucable He’s got it backwards though. He can’t remember details about the show the same way any 30-something won’t remember all of their teachers in high school. Most adults DO remember details about work stuff, even years later, which is why it seems weird that he wouldn’t.
One of my favorite tv shows. This and the wonder years!
This is called being squared away. Solid dude. Amazing what good parents can help blossom also.
Child actors and their parents should be required to attend a presentation led by Frankie. He is so balanced and separate from the stereotypical Hollywood tragedy.
What an awesome dude, great parents obviously!
So proud of him!
Great to see Frankie so stable in life. Being stable after living as a child star seems to be an anomaly.I had to laugh though, Steve O and the money questions. lol
Glad to see Frankie doing well. Always one I rooted for and grew up watching. Much respect
This is dope, especially considering just how big of a kid star he was back in the day..he was like, the biggest thing not just as a kid star but a star period, for a time
Malcom in the Middle, I remember being obsessed, and recording every episode on my sisters Olsen Twins VHS tapes which went over well with my parents. Glad to see Frankie had great support around him as he grew into his fame. Level headed dude.
Im showing my son malcolm in the middle now, im 39 hes 8, he loves it
nice to see a guy who once dominated the television industry turn into this normal, humble dude man i’d be super stoked if I was there next to someone who was once and still is a legend
Love that Frankie is doing well! Malcolm I’m the Middle is one of my favourite shows, absolutely hilarious and superbly written
Much credit to his parents. They raised him well and actually wanted nothing but the best for his life. Didn't steal his money and guided him perfectly. Honestly he got in Hollywood got his money & got out. Everyone that usually stays end up miserable.
I think its humbling and cool that he never smoked and drank even with all his success at a young age. Now that is pretty freaking rare.
Yeh seriously, especially with the amount of influence that would have been around him.
true. i win 2 quid on a scratchcard and im out on the piss celebrating. no wonder he has more to show for his life than i do lol
Frankie is so chill and down to earth. Super authentic, you know if you needed advice or something, you can trust him to tell you like it is.
2:20 I like how Stevo was answering a question that they asked him but instead of going into his answer and a little more background he went right back to Frankie and asked him more questions considering the fact that he’s being interviewed and not Stevo. I love that.
Great observation - Steve-O is a more professional host and interviewer than a lot of people.
Malcom in the Middle was one the best TV shows ever. Honestly, I would love to see Frankie return to acting on TV or to the big screen. Good luck dude.
I rather that he should decide on that choice. The fans shouldn’t pressure Frankie to return like a snap.
This guy was literally my generations hero. Big fat liar!!! Lmao such a good movie. I was one of the saddest kids on earth when he got into a his accident. I’m happy to see he’s doing awesome. Thanks steve-o!!

Real solid interview. WOULDN’T mind seeing him again !
Frankie seems like a cool person, even better seeing how as a kid he made unique yet impressive business choices that paid off.
Frankie has surpassed legend status hes hardy seen nowadays I'd say hes officially a myth
I wonder why he never continued acting
@@NeckBoneGood he really got into racing.
What a great personality he has!
His Mom sounds awesome. My dad was the opposite end of the spectrum, anything I told him I wanted to be he told me I would fail at and told me to get a manual labor job. I ended up making more money than him and my mother combined but at a soulless corporate job. I wish he gave me support for the creative stuff I wanted to do when I was a kid.
enjoyed the show as a kid. And Frankie seems like a nice down to earth guy. Salute sir.
Makes me so happy to see the kid all grown up with his head on right and able to manage the success so well.
Malcom in the middle was one of the biggest "after school TV programs" in Sweden when I was younger, aired just before that's 70s show and smallville
I love him so much, one of my favorite actors as well. So happy for him and everything he’s accomplished

I sell downtown parking lots in a major city, and he is spot on about them potentially being worth $100s of millions these days. I've also sold a couple self-storage properties as well, and can see that Frankie made some fantastic investment decisions with his money. He got some great advice back then!
Do you know how much he would've bought them back in 2002?

Great interview. He seems like such a good dude. Malcom in the Middle is one of the most underrated comedies ever.
Frankie Muniz is such a sweetheart. Protect this man at all costs. ❤
Good for him, it makes me happy to see him do well. Easily one of the best tv sitcoms. Portrayed poverty in a working class family in such a realistic way.
poverty? im from south america and though they were middle class lol, different standards of poverty i guess

Im 30 years old and still watching malcolm in the middle and jackass .... best shows ever 👍
It's not like there's anything these days in its place that's as good.
Shows that were made to simply entertain you, nothing more nothing less. Unlike now where most of the garbage from Hollywood is pushing some sort of an agenda.
Frankie was on my little league baseball team before he made it "big" in Knightdale, NC. He never references he lived here but he was an energetic happy dude back then and seems the same way now. Glad for his success.

@aloevv𖤐 This reply was the dumbest thing you could have done with your time. Second only to what I'm doing now.
There was an AMA from an anonymous person claiming to be a cast member who was abused by the cast. It was never confirmed nor debunked. Also, the actor who played Dewey like, mysteriously is hard to track down so ppl think it might have been him.

Frankie is obviously very smart and well raised. Gotta love this guy.
When he talked about wanting to be a garbage man or a train conductor, it reminded me of the last episode of Malcolm in the Middle when his parents tell him that he's going to have to work twice as hard as everyone else and he's still not going to be respected by everyone. 😵
There's also an episode where he struggles to find his career and he has to do a test on profesión, but the test comes up as being able to do anything lol
