      Here's a few examples:
      - on this podcast he said the idea of pyramid being tombs was made up by the XIX century European explorers...in realty, Herodotus told us they are tombs since the 5th century B.C., the Egyptians themselves told us they are tombs and the pyramid of Menkaure has a an inscription carved on its granite casing, literally saying Menkaure was buried inside.
      - he said there are no texts inside any pyramid - not true, look at the pyramid texts, found inside the 5th and 6th dynasty pyramids
      - he said no bodies were ever found in any pyramid - which again, is false
      - in one of his video he said Egyptologists claim the Great Pyramid is older then the Step Pyramid. Once again, it's the other way around...

Within the last year, I watched a documentary about how the pyramids were made. They have uncovered and translated an ancient papyrus that said that the Nile river was much closer to pyramids and they were able to divert the waters to the pyramids to help transport stone. So the block of stone used were approx 1 ton bricks. Egyptologists were able to determine that it was easily feasible to transport stone the way it was described in this special ancient papyrus. It was a journal entry from a pyramid foreman who was overseeing the construction of the temple. It was super fascinating to watch. Anyway, my point is, their was a body of water that most likely extended from Mauritania to Egypt. The point was that their was a massive body of water next to the pyramids that obviously is not longer there today.

@@stephenhurd1489 Why does Islam attract more converts than any other religion? One major reason is that vIslam says: "refugees welcome" to those fleeing failing liberal social and religious institutions.
      Let me explain.
Liberal secularists promote the idea that their norms for regulating marriage, family, and religion are ideal.
Nevertheless, statistical data indicates that wherever a society is governed by liberal secular norms, people stop marrying, having children, and practising religion.
Put differently, the liberal is fundamentally a hypocrite - despite what he or she might say, no liberal person is actually interested in being part of a liberal marriage, a liberal family, or a liberal religion.
Matters are different when it comes to Islam.
Muslims also promote the idea that their norms for regulating marriage, family, and religion are ideal.
Moreover, statistical data indicates that wherever a society is governed by Islamic norms, it boosts marriage, birth rate, and religious practice.
Put differently, the Muslim is actually interested in being part of a Muslim marriage, a Muslim family, and the Muslim religion.
The current era is an era of refugees fleeing from liberalism. Liberal marriage, family, and religion have collapsed.
As a result, refugees from liberal societies seek marriage partners abroad, and if they practice any type of religion , it is a non-liberal version whose centers are located abroad. Islam is the most obvious choice for them.

I could care less who thinks im crazy or whatever 🤷🏻. But this just brought a memory back.
When i was 6 years old, our class went out on a hike to see a couple of caves, and pretty much just have a day outside. This is in Cuba. When we were leaving, the walk was a bit steep going up a trail, and we would take a bit of a break. When we stopped for a couple of minutes, to talk about what we liked about the hike etc, i looked to my left where you can see the tree canopy. Then far away, about a few miles id say, i could see a beautiful castle-like area that looked out of a fairy tale. The water around it was shimmering and it just looked perfect/beautiful. This was in 1995. I can't forget the image i believe i saw til this day. I don't know what i saw, but it deffinetly looked like some kind of civilization. Maybe the exhaustion, being a bit hungry, allowed me to see some sort of "mirage". That's how I've taken it. Only God knows. I didn't have a TV, and played with stick, stones and slingshots...meaning, there's no way that my brain was being tricked by anything that movies/tv can make a kid wonder and eventually have a dream about. It couldn't have been a dream, bc who remembers a dream from when they were kids or even a year ago? My life as a kid was very free, no trauma that could have caused that moment. I will always remember that day and that hike, and will always wonder about that area.

The ancient civilisation of Minoa, located on the island of Crete famously was destroyed in a volcanic eruption and subsequent tsunami in around 1500 BC, halving the island in size. This civilisation was known to be incredibly wealthy and a hub for trade. 1000 years go by until, in 320 BC, when Plato first makes reference to a great civilisation that sunk beneath the sea known as Atlantis. He claims that his ancestor had been told by Egyptian priest 300 years prior of this great civilisation. The thing is though, in around 1000 BC, the Greek dark ages occurred, which is an event that ended with the destruction of many ancient texts of the Mediterranean societies. So there is a very high likely hood that the story of Minoa got twisted and contorted over the centuries so that when it eventually did get told to Plato’s ancestor, the story was completely different. Plato himself also may have added some things to the story. That is what I think happened.

After watching this UA-cam video, I think Jimmy Corsetti puts up a good argument and has some good points as to why one might believe that the lost city of Atlantis is in the middle of the Sahara. One of the major points he brings up is the salt deposits and sand erosion at the Richat structure or AKA the eye of the Sahara. If we evaluate these beliefs under the Occam’s Razor it is easy to assume that this location might be the position of the lost city if we first take into account and accept the” facts” that Corsetti lays out. He first talks about Plato’s description of the Atlantis which is that it was built in concentric circles with alternating land and water features and that everything was under water at one point. Then when pointing to the salt deposits and sand erosion that is seen from google maps and with some other supporting details he makes the jump that the lost city must be at that location. Under Occam’s Razor principle the author is favoring the simpler explanation of a situation. So instead of doing years and years of research and bringing solid facts to the table Corsetti is instead jumping to the conclusion that with a few assumptions that the city must be at the Richat structure. These structures shown in the video can simply just be corrosion and deposits from the ocean retracting off of the land that it once occupied without an existence of a lost city.

I was worried that Joe Rogan was only having really popular well-known people on his podcast. Jimmy has a great UA-cam Channel and I'm so pumped his message is being shared like this.

Hi, I used to live in Mauritania. I never went to the Richat structure, as it's in an area that we were not allowed to go to for security reasons, but I met people who had been there, and when I visited places in the desert in the north of the country (not too far from the Structure) with a guide, he told us that they find sea shells all around the Richat structure, which is another clue that that part of the Sahara was probably at one time under the sea. Also, I've been told that the northern area of the structure are cliffs and that you can see where ancient river / waterfalls probably came over those high grounds, which would have been a great source of fresh water. In the account from Solan he apparently speaks of higher ground to the north of Atlantis, as well as other details that coincide with the formation we see at the Richat structure. I was told that as the structure is spread out over such a large area that when you're there on the ground it doesn't look like much, and there's nothing really to see. It can only be seen well when flying over it in a plane, or from satellite images as shown in this video.

There are lots of elephant skeletons and pottery there as well. Pottery indicates people and elephant bones align with the tale that Atlantis had lots and lots of elephants.

It would explain why so much of the land is barren. The ground has been salted leaving it a desert

@@zak283 such a simple thought that most never consider, good job man honestly the simplest answer is usually the correct one. I think the world of Randall Carlson and Graham Hancock but the matching of this location to the tale of atlantis buries any other theory of the location of the capital of atlantis. That said, I still think they had outposts all over the world.
