I am making a blanket of retro daisy squares and would like to ask if you would recommend a different joining stitch to the one in this video, particularly as the final row of the daisy square is in hdc with no chain spaces (except in the corners)?
Certainly! 🥰 Given the final row of the daisy square consists mostly of half-double crochet stitches without chain spaces, you might find it more suitable to use a joining method that can easily accommodate those stitches. Here's a suggestion: ua-cam.com/video/CJzpMMp5yd4/v-deo.htmlsi=0b2U4hsi3180Zi1T Best of luck with your project😊
You're very welcome! It's fantastic to hear that the details were helpful for you as a beginner. Watching twice before starting shows dedication and a commitment to getting it just right - that's a wonderful approach! Keep up the enthusiasm, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions along your crocheting journey. Happy crafting! 😊🧵
You're very welcome!🥰I'm glad to hear that you found the technique easy to follow. Using the join-as-you-go method for your mohair yarn vest sounds like an excellent choice, especially if you're aiming for an airy and delicate finish. It can add a lovely drape to your garment and create a seamless look without the bulk of sewing. If you have any questions or need further assistance as you work on your vest, feel free to ask. Happy crocheting, and I hope your vest turns out beautifully!❤️

Thank you so much, very easy to follow! I‘m making a vest with mohair yarn, so this technique turns out much airier than sewing them together!
