    This is wonderful! I needed to add just a bit more onto my granny squares and wasn't sure if the best way to make it look right. This is definitely the way to do it! I looked through your videos and didn't see a tutorial for the solid granny squares. I heard in this video you said you like to start in the corners which would be a great benefit because you can see where I started in each of my granny squares and I don't really like how I am able to see where I started each round... Any advice? Thanks in advance

      I skipped the first stitch when doing the round of sc, this reduce the stitch count by one so it met the multiple of 3+2. So my squares were 33 stitches, then after the sc round I had 34 stitches instead of 35. Hope this helps!!

    This channel has the most beautiful crotchet and I’d really like to learn how to do those squares. The colours are perfectly put together too. I search for UK tutorials and couldn’t believe my luck when I clicked on this channel that the teacher was English, Brilliant I thought but then for some reason the instructions are given in the American terms. I admit I was very annoyed and didn’t understand why a UK teacher would do this. I know the USA audience is bigger than the UK’s but let THEM have to do the conversions, they have loads of channels anyway! Sadly I’ll have to give this channel a miss.

    • @meemamakes
      @meemamakes  Рік тому +1

      Sorry to cause frustration and that my channel is not for you. My written patterns are all available in UK terms if there was a particular project you wanted to make.
      I am not chasing the larger audience - I have always used US terms as that was how I learned, and I have many UK friends who prefer to use US terms. I find them more logical, easier to understand, and a wider range of patterns use them (although I learned to read both terminologies early on in my crochet journey). I teach in the terms that I believe most benefit beginner crocheters.
      I believe Bella Coco is one of the largest crochet channels and she teaches UK terms so maybe check her out? Best wishes, Em
