    There’s a big problem with this video. The vast majority of images convey the message that there are two other essential ingredients for looking good over 50: being under 50 and being stick thin.

      @@samanthafox3124 There is fat and there is plump or carrying a few extra. Beauty and a few extra are not mutually exclusive. Now, if you're talking obese, there is a big difference. Conversely, severely thin is not attractive either. Beauty comes in all forms. You are a bit, myopic, no?

    I have followed this plan on a budget for decades. As a result, I have worn items in my wardrobe for decades. The leather, cashmere, & classics still are in style.

      That's amazing! 🥳👍 It sounds like you’ve mastered the art of building a timeless wardrobe. Investing in quality items like leather and cashmere that last for decades is such a smart approach. I’m curious-what’s your favorite piece from your collection?🌹

    Love this and adhere to this aesthetic as I merge into my 70’s. I find looser clothes to be more flattering as the skin begins to sag and fold. I also strive to keep my weigh down which is a challenge now.

      Absolutely! Italy is truly a fashion capital. I wouldn't say all women, but I'd estimate that 90% of them dress more elegantly and stylishly. It's inspiring to see such a strong sense of fashion and personal style there!🥳

    I have to wear glasses which I think detracts from looking elegant. Maybe it’s just the frame, but could you do a video someday on looking elegant with glasses?

    Wearing browns, beiges and greys usually makes older women look washed out and tired. A set income does not allow for natural fibre clothing prives and fast fashion isn't flattering. Yoi speak of the rich person only.

      @AnniePicks  29 днів тому +2

      I totally get what you're saying! When the colors are lacking, I usually add accessories as a pop of interest. Another important detail is lipstick-it really helps to bring some life to the look.😊🌹

      When we're on a budget, we can choose to invest in a few key pieces that are well-tailored. A woman once told me that thrift stores can be great for finding meaningful items, and shopping in the menswear section for well-cut shirts is also a smart choice!😘🌹

    Please define "clean colors". I went to art school, majored in color and never heard the term.

    • @AnniePicks
      @AnniePicks  17 днів тому

      Oh, and as I understand it, “clean colors” usually refer to pure and vivid hues that aren’t mixed or dimmed with too much gray, brown, or black. They’re clear, bright, and saturated, often resembling the colors you’d see straight from a paint tube, like a true red, blue, or yellow. In fashion and design, “clean” can also mean that the color has a fresh, clean quality without any muddiness or dullness, a color that makes you look younger. Of course, that it’s the right color for you.😊🌹

    Quiet luxury is code for white Eurocentric look. Also the majority of women don’t have perfect skinny bodies even if we watch what we eat and exercise daily like I do. The style presented here is nice and we can all take elements, however it may not suit your, body, style or lifestyle.

    • @AnniePicks
      @AnniePicks  6 днів тому

      Thank you so much for your feedback and kind comment. I completely understand your perspective. One lady in the comments shared that beauty and elegance are not about size, and sometimes being too thin isn’t necessarily better. I hope you don’t feel anxious about your body. Just take inspiration from the style tips that suit you best, and always stay confident with a positive mindset. I believe you are still graceful and beautiful.🤗🌹

    I think loafers do nothing for most outfits. Too heavy and masculine. And they make legs look short and stocky, especially if one is petite or smaller. Also the heavy lug soled boots with dresses?! Most of the time, they look horrendous!!
