Don't forget the harmonica man Steve Weston. His part is the cream of the fantasic version of this song
ALL THOSE WHO SIGNALED DISLIKES ON THIS NEED TO KEEP IT TO THEMSELVES. !!! THIS IS ROCKIN BLUESIN. SENSATIONAL
This is how rock and roll music has to be.
Wilko, Daltrey & Watt Roy. Three absolute legends.
Two absolute legends together. Doesn't get any better than that. RIP Wilko Johnson. You lit up my teenage life!
Rest in peace, Wilko, we miss you
Such a fabulous blues sound. Great to see Roger Daltry showing off his enormous talent in this way.
Roger Daltrey what a cool damn cat still has it going on the old boy
Wilko Johnson . . . . . staring death in the face and playing a mean guitar. . . . .with some excellent assistance . . . . . just brilliant , an example to us all . . .
Straight, no nonsense rock and roll and infinite amounts of talent. These guys have the know how. Hats off.
Roger Daltry and Wilko nailing it , can't miss , the rhythm section was smooth as a cashmere codpiece and the harp player was cooking . What a gig that would have been 👍🇬🇧
Roger Daltrey's voice is just SO GOOD now . Hear that blues sound ?
Has Roger ever sung so well?! His voice was always good but this is fabulous!
Plus the fabulous Norman Watt-Roy on bass. Splendid.
Wow Roger Daltrey is 70 years old!! Still belts out a bloody good vocal and Maaaaannn.......THAT harmonica is awesome!! Way to go Wilko man....with The Music!
My Daughter and her fiancé bought this for me for fathers day and I F*****G LOVE IT! Grew up listening to Wilko play with Dr F and Ian Dury the Blockheads who I loved! Saw the Who twice and they were the best band I ever saw live, just blew me away. This is my favourite track from the album and i play it over and over. If you haven't got the album yet go buy it, any old rhythm n blues fan will love it!
Among his other talents, Wilko Johnson is a great songwriter.
There's a hell of a guy.
Daltrey shows part of his vocal range that I have never heard before in a musical setting that fits it well. New tricks and some great music.
Don't forget Blockheads members Dylan Howe, Norman Watt-Roy and The Style Council's keyboardist Mick Talbot. All together create the magic trick.
