Love you Wilco, you will never be replaced, saw you live on innumerable occasions over the years and every night was a great one. Now I´m going to me me roll a fat one.
wilco has been in my life since I have memory. my big brothers had all the records of Dr. Feelgood (now mine) that they bought in London and sneaked in Spain, and being a small child I grew listening him and faking to play guitar. I am 47 today I play bass professionally and play blues harp as a hobby and I have always thought he has some guilt in it. I am so glad there is a new record of him. all my love from Spain. I will make my best to go to U.K. to see a show next year
I was invited backstage by him when I was 4 because he was so surprised with how obsessed I was with him, every night I got my guitar and mimed him on my TV, he was really nice (so was Norman) and from what I remember he stayed with me for around 1 and a half hours. I still luv his music and I’m 12, so....it’s proof he’s a guy who fame hasn’t changed, he is so nice
We have a whole slew of fretboard wizards out there who do nothing musically. Wilko, on the other hand, is a very musical primitive with his own voice on the instrument. One can't imitate him. He cut his own territory.
I bought Wilco's autobio...a great read ...makes it clear that song writers have a way with language...it fun to read and experience. My Dad worked 40 years at an oil refinery like the folks where all the bandmembers came from i.e. Brilloux, Wilco etc...for some reason their music seems like hometown to me in here in California... BUT the cancer rate among these guys was terrible.
This is the second time I've seen this video, but the first with my eyes… the time before that was in a precognitive dream… freaky, eh? Anyway, thanks so much for rocking Osaka to the gtound Mr. Johnson. I hope Kyoto treated you well, and I wish you the best for Hiroshima. Come on back soon!

The great guitar hero since so many years still slapping his telecaster and blowing my mind.
He is a master. A musician. Not a technician.
@@luther_beckett why do you say that ?

Grande Wilko!
