What is a SUPER SLAM?

- On this episode, I'm back on the kayak fishing a new creek and attempting to catch, what I will call, a NorthEast Florida "SUPER SLAM". That's a Redfish, Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead, & Black Drum - all in 1 day. I chose this creek because it seems to have a habitat diverse enough to sustain each of those species. Watch the video to see if I was correct!

Flounder slayer man. That’s a fish I gotta learn to catch. Great video 🤙🏽
Nice fish bro. Daggum variety pack. Solid table sizes too.
Thanks homes! Gonna try again for all slots in the winter lol
Just moved to jax and grabbing my kayak tomorrow, you inspired me to check out sisters creek!
Heck yeah! Good luck out there!🤙
We should do a total different species day!
Let’s go Stetso!
You got on them pretty good!!!! Once again!! 4 out of the 5 for the slam not bad....keep the 🔥coming ...my guy!!!
Thank you! So close! Maybe that fish that broke me off was a huge drum lol
A valiant effort indeed!
Thanks! I wish all the fish were slot size though😅 Will be trying this again lol
that's awesome!
🍻🍻
Super close! Cool video man
Thanx🤙 Also was hoping for slot size fish lol
Nicely done Trong! Hooked up on some nice fish. In hindsight, it was probably a good thing that one fish broke off lol
Thanks bro! I say shark. You think?
@@VISUAL-LY yea more than likely.
Your video was very great and I hope you make a drawing video soon :)
Thanks Kenji! Maybe I will do it soon!
8:22 im always looking for folks to wet the hand and 90% of utoobers do not... Good Stuff brother
Thanks! Especially important for the trout🙌
So close to that super slam bro, I know they had some black drum hanging around with those Sheepshead. Wasn't in the cards that day but besides that, great job on the other catches!
Thanks brother! Maybe that fish that broke me off was a huge drum lol😅
Bro you was on the fish. I caught a few black drum the other day. Wish I could have gave you one. 😂
Dang nice! I was struggling finding those drum. Had dead shrimp and all lol
You were tearing them up bro!
They were chewing! Just wish they were bigger lol
@@VISUAL-LY we went to the gulf a few weeks ago caught over 30 trout more than half were 14 7/8"! It was fun but hard to catch a keeper and lost all my footage 😢
@@HFG554 Bummer! Would've loved to see that one!
Went out fishing on little Talbot island state park on Monday the water was crystal clear and the fishing was phenomenal lots of mullet and tarpon had an amazing time you should fish there
Water has been exceptionally clear lately! Were you fishing off the beach? Surf fishing?
@@VISUAL-LYyea surf fishing pretty good fishing lots of lady fish and blue fish
@@Saltwaterfishing77 Gonna have to try surf fishing again one day💯
Bro nice fish! I just dropped a video up in nassau sound. Been fishing it 20 years never seen it that clear.
Just checked it out! Dope video! And you’re right! My last 2 trips out in that area, the water has been super clear
We call that the grocery bag dude. I've had more luck dragging bottom with reds then Flounder. Most flounder ive caught in the ,904, is mid water column. High tide + high temps = strong bites dude. 7:21 well you did let him eat lol..im glad they moved the size up but I feel like 17in should be the keeper size.As always dude keep making me homesick✌️💚
Yeah, 12” was ridiculous! 15” would be ideal imo, but wouldn’t mind if they made it 17. Maybe make a slot size…15-20” one over 20”. Kinda similar to trout.
@@VISUAL-LY exactly my thoughts dude...hit up the Okefenokee for a different bite, I'd say.. but you are dialed in on that 904 bite so I don't blame ya...
Safe to kayak there or how would we fish it?
@@VISUAL-LY yea dude there's a lot of Gator but they remove the ones that get fed. I'd paddle at least a mile or so from the folkston/Waycross ramp to avoid bowfin but yea dude. When you get into the swamp swamp it's like a total different world. The air is different, no mosquitoes, but yellow fly are real real lol but they make great bait with a tiny hook.jus wait till they land on ur arm and snackemm.. I have only found that type of peace/solitude in the Evergladesb or deep down the St John's.. Great Speckled perch holes and other panfish in the native EDDYS and holes. But your film style would be beautiful in there I know it.
@@VISUAL-LY tiny jigs or just standard bass lurez
What kind of kayak do you have bro, I’m trying to get into kayak fishing, I’m out here in palm coast
Native slayer 13. They may be discontinued but the a similar model they put out now is called the native slayer max or native titan.
I’ve never caught a slot red, keeper flounder or trout, where can I go in Jacksonville? I don’t have a boat or kayak, please help me guys.
Go out anywhere closer to the ocean like ft George inlet. Buy some live mud minnows and throw them out on a jighead and wait
If you go to ft George Inlet, use a 1 oz bank sinker rig off the floating dock same mud minnows just with a 3/0 circle hook the current is killer in shore areas so jigs might be a bit tough for the newbie. Good luck and tight lines
Where did you launched from?
Bro how do you work That is it like twitch twitch
Yeah that’ll work. Any combination of twitching, dragging, bouncing💯
First!
👊👊
Messed up that catfish don’t get a box to check. Worst example of speciesism if I’ve ever seen one .
