This very much seems like the game I've wanted for 20 years.

Bro, love the game and your videos. However, you have GOT to stop using the phrase "you guys" so much. My lort! Four times in the first 20 second and I can't continue.
Can you do a video of how plots work? Can you set permissions on who can build on your plot? Ive heard people say its public/clan/private.. and no one would want to let an entire clan, unless u trusted everyone, be able to build/destroy on your plot.
Yes, you control who can access the chests you build, set 1 plot to clan and keep one private, if you just have 1 plot, set it for clan and set several chest for private for your own stuff, depends on clan leaders. Ask
Demone I’m interested in the game and how magic works. Would you be able to go over that? Roles such as CC, healer? Are there any summoning type of skills?

I'm coming from Final Fantasy 14 where you are an omni-crafter and omni-gatherer. Sure it'll take a long time, but that is the entire game anyway. So no rush.
Its so monumentally dumb that the haven't implemented currency in the game. How exactly does an alchemist trade for an iron sword? There are so many professions involved in making complex products and all of them are going to need some sort of barter from final product crafters, how does someone from a different product chain interact with them effectively? The idea that I have to go out and swap trade with like 10 people to get a single item is a nightmare without currency which is why currency was invented in the real world. Barter economies in games like ECO are a nightmare.
You barter resources ? I'll trade an iron sword for some rye or any resource I dont want to gather

Honestly, I think one of the biggest problems clans will run in to is putting the wrong people in charge of certain crafts. A lot of clans are going to waste a shit ton of resources and time feeding their crafters that end up disappearing 3 weeks after EA. They'll then have to go back and redo everything all over again to work another person up. I'd stress to only put people you know and trust that will stick around.
This happens in most MMOs unless you come in with a previously established community. Last MMO I went into with high expectations was NW - joined a large community, but most of the company crafters that were fed in the first few weeks ended up leaving the game pretty early. The best way around this is to find a core group of friends - if you join a clan with your core group, you can at least support each other even if people start leaving.
agreed however its EA so it wont be as important. it will be mostly about helping test things and getting balancing right up until launch
Think about what will happen to clans after the premiere, which will consist only of people with no experience in EA
Your right Demone, crafting is insane, so I thought I could craft as well while being in a PvP team, but as you say, left the crafters do that and I should be a hunter and gatherer , because as I’m hunting I can level my weapon while keeping our crafters happy with plenty of resources. Do they not have electricity or torches in this game? Why so dark?
Yes there are torches, but there’s no weather or cold effects, zero reason to carry it since visibility is fine at night and nights are very short compared to daytime.

Can you tell me if they've improved the storage options for the players since the Beta test? ..ie larger starter chests or easier to make? .
Playing the beta i needed loads and loads of chests to store all the recources we HAD to collect ..more time spent building chests than gathering 😮
It was certainly annoying and i hope the devs have balanced it a bit better. I find the crafting extremely long winded.
Anyway i'll stop moaning and thanks for the content..👍
2 more days i cant wait! got a group going, people willing to specialize, we finally have time to peogress properly instead of just trying everything out, which was a mistake lol. If we are on the same server we shall build an alliance.

I'm worried early access will kill the game before it releases. Every time they rush releases, the game is doa. I really hope this won't be the case for PD....
The release isn't being rushed, hence why they're going In to EA.
If your skill go up by USE then it makes no difference. There is no skill cap so you can basically skill up everything over time. You are basically talking about trying to get to the highest level of a particular skill as quickly as possible. Why? To be the Uber Guild? To have the best equipment within a week of game play? Its not about the end game in my opinion, its about the journey. At least the game gives the flexibility for a person like me to come home, chill and just craft anything I want at my own pace. I can see people getting to end game within a month and then bailing because of your approach because they have built everything, mastered a particular profession, and killed everything that matters in the game. They will get bored and leave
No, not in this game. The amount of crafting is staggering. There is jewel crafting also, brewing, cooking, fermenting, weapon and armor smithing, alchemy, pickling and a few more I don't remember. Each one has a multiple benches, it's not just one bench, there's alot. Enemies beyond the beginning area are absolutely brutal. Your not soloing them ever.
Even a group of 6, going into a cave to get a recipe no one else on the server had, we literally ran out of supplies a quarter way into it, completely underestimated the size of the cave, and amount of enemies.
I don't think alot of people understand the scale and the hard-core nature of it. Your not going very far solo is all I want to say, even after a week, I did t see a single person beyond the beginning area, and the enemies one shot kill you with chain mail armor, took forever to get back.

How good is the pvp compared to new world's? is it also fluid and fast paced?
Combat is basic atm, it's a work I progress that they'll be working on throughout EA.

This games pricing and business plan are keeping me away from it. I dont like the fact that you need to virtually rent your house. Just for what? So they can increase the price when the game gets popular.

Monthly sub prices aren’t hidden. I personally miss it. FTP games suck and are anything but free.
