When should we close the valve back? You said, every time we set up the suspension we need to have it in open position. When do we close it? is that after you put the air in, after measuring or after everything is done?
There is technically no closing of the valve, but more so making sure that the shock and fork are in the OPEN setting when setting sag and adding air-pressure. Some shocks and forks have adjustable or multi-level adjustments to slow down air/oil flow that stiffens the fork/shock. These would be used for climbing when you want to stiffen the fork or shock to help deliver more power without as much pedal bob.
