The art on Chaos Warp has a Raccoonfolk falling onto Kamigawa. It may be that they are unchanged when going to other planes, or at least ones that do have special effects.
Bello is said to have traveled to many planes, his staff has an hedron from Zendikar and his belt has filigree buttons from Kaladesh. It also seems that he never changed appearance.
Gather round wanders, walkers and those looking for a good tale; The Storyteller is here to recite his tales of the multiverse! (Hi Seiben Glad you back! Hows fam?)
I know! This is the best lore channel imo. I've missed it but to be honest the lore has been lacking imo and that is leaving people little to work with. Bloomburrow feels like mtg more than it has in a while. Dare I say since neon dynasty. Too bad it's off to duskmoun instead of a 3 block set of Bloomburrow. This if done in a 3 block system would've been possibly one of the best mtg sets ever.
They might be their animal size if they travel to different planes. Kwain, Itenerant Meddler is a Bloomburrow native and is rabbit-sized in the Year of the Rabbit card released before Bloomburrow. They do stay animals as a raccoon travels to Kamigawa in Chaos Warp and is still a raccoon
I feel most drawn to the lizardfolk. I’m an artist myself and I see much to be inspired by the lizardfolk culture. Destroying the old to make way for the new is something that I believe human artists should take to heart, especially movie makers.
Nothing in anthropomorphism specifies size, just human-like characteristics. The rats of NIMH are anthropomorphic. Doesn't even have to mean body type, as Paw Patrol is anthropomorphic. Doesn't need to mean clothes or a human-like society, as Watership Down is anthropomorphic. Aesop's Fables are full of anthropomorphic animals, as they tend to have human-like reasoning and speech.
On the reprint of chaos warp from the raccoon precon, it depicts a raccoon folk traveling to kamigawa and share in the flavor text! They’re still animals! 😫
Raccoons are like people with ADHD. 😅 a need for great effort to focus to accomplish things else we'll wander around with unfinished chores inside the house. 😂
So...Grung Simic Oracles, Mouse Boros Crown Paladins, Squirrel Golgari Land Druids, Otter Izzet Wild Mages, Bat Orzhov Order Clerics, Harengon Selesnya Chef Alchemists, Raccoon Gruul Bards, Lizardfolk Rakdos Barbarians, Rat Dimir Psions, Kenku Azorius Glory Paladins, Weasel Rogues (with Cruelclaw looking like a Swashbuckler), Badger Champions, Hamster...uh...Peace Clerics? It's possible... it fits this Planes theme. At the same time, its specifically stated that insects are more like "traditional" animals here lacking intelligence.
I disagree with the notion that they are the size of the animals I mean Mabel and Finneas is around the same size which a adult bunny and mouse is not and yes badgerfolk like Hugs is big the other folk being around half there size they are not towering over them like badger would in real life and foxes should be even bigger... but I guess what you meant was their critter size?
What do you mean they're not anthropomorphic animals? They're literally reskinned humans. Bloomburrow may be popular now but ever since it became clear what it is I was disappointed by the lack of creativity in this set precisely because every animal species behaves like humans. Also, all species' names are just 'word for said animal + folk' which is the absolute stupidest way of naming fantasy species.

The man returns with a top shelf dish. I 100% wished Bloomburrow was a three set block. There is so much to tell, and so vast.
3 or even 2 set blocks would do so much to help the game feel a little bit slower that the current constant firehose of releases.
Yeah I MIss The three set blocks... I would have liked 3 ikoria sets also hell even 3 of kaldheim
Otter Ral Zarek is freaking adorable.

Welcome back. Hope you enjoyed your time from the channel.
I enjoyed the video.
It's a shame we only got Mr. foxglove to represent foxes but oh well. My favorite are the Otterfolk. I especially loved Ral as an otter.
Also Jace became a Fox.

This little flute sound on repeat...
we have seen bloomburrow animals go to other planes, in the card "Chaos warp". they stay exactly the same. they remain a small animal person.
Wish we weren't rushing off to the next world so soon.
Yup. I hate the speed of set rotation. We can’t learn and enjoy worlds anymore.
I agree... I want more bloomburrow and I'm gonna want more duskmourn as well
❤ thank God you're back bro. Oh my God I missed you
That means a lot. I hope I can continue making good content for you all to enjoy.
Welcome back
My like button won't work, but I really enjoyed this video.

He's back!
Sup Purp. Glad to see you in the comments again!
When is that Duskmourn video coming out?
i am saddened by the fact that the next expension is already on the horizon. i want so much more of this plane.
I'm glad this set is leaving quickly. super lame 😊
Loved this video good job 👏
HES BACK!
Yessss yes I am. I should make a “come back video” to explain my long absence.
Welcome back!

that is neat archelos is from bloomburrow.
We need more Mousefolk! There’s only around 30 mouse related cards in all of MtG.
I want to make a Redwall deck.
Welcome back. Hope you had a good rest.
i love your lore videos, are you going to do some for duskmourne?
Squirrel is going to be my go to play, but Rabbit is just me.
I would love more possums and a possum commander at some point.
I missed these videos :D
They are BACK :)

21.57 minute mark. Continuity error
It is featuring the bird folk but rat folk is the text that appears. may want to fix that.
21:36 Woops, you put "ratfolk" in front of birdfolk. 😋
Nothing on Duskmourn: House of Horror?
Because i look up plant powers and magic so much my favorites are the rabbits and squirrels
I just now noticed the foxglove Mr. Foxglove is wearing. Can you tell me where to find MtG artworks in such a high resolution?
I typically find it by following the artists or WOTC on sites like Twitter or Art station. So I know when they are posted!

@@DragonspineInfiniteZero Very very possible. If I had to pick a plane for her origins, it would be Bloomburrow.

Honestly I think grist fits Duskmourn more than bloomburrow.. Maybe she's from the Woods....
Archelos from Bloomburrow!? Since when? He's from Dominaria
Otters are the cutest 😌 no contest (Hugs not counted)
