For those wondering about the other version-exclusive bosses, PS4 players get to take on a Metal Gear ripoff called Mecha Gear FISH instead of the big metal scorpion. As for Switch players, they get to fight the King Hedgehag where as XBOX players get to fight General Rootser... another Karotto boss piloting a big hovercraft.

Which means everyone gets to take on Mecha Gear FISH, Pincerstonk i6 GX02, King Hedgehag, and General Rootser regardless of version! I might be wrong about this, but if I'm not... *_HYPE._*
One of the best games I've played in the recent years, too bad my HDD died and I didn't manage to complete it back then. Might be a good time to replay it now, since a bunch of new content was added, as it seems.
@@GayBrain It's pretty good. When did you play it? I'm not sure if there were any significant optimizations in the last few years, but I know that it's doable for most computers. If performance is a problem, you can play one of the console versions. The only issue is that the DLC is not yet out for consoles and won't be until this summer.
Although it's probably pointless to say since you probably already know and I don't know if her combat changes but you can fight shizuka again. Before you go through C.Tron's door and do the Vermilion ending to learn the truth, the game prompts you to make a save. Say no to continuing the quest. Instead, call shizuka, and she'll say she's at her favorite place to relax. Go to the old hideout , and go to the right side where the water and the tree is at, talk to her and you can unlock the ability to fight her in the arena. Pretty cool.
I didn't notice that part in the task, but I couldn't help laughing at the part where Emilie scolded Buggy and the later one where he teased her fair and square.
pro tip for son of the beach: during the cloud hovering phase, when he does the final electric ball attack, make it go to the corner of an island and proceed to the opposite side of it. it IS do-able, but just extremely difficult because of the gravitational pull the ball has
Another fun tip: Jumping along the uneven edge of the island when he releases the giant electric ball towards you can cause it to fall into the water, effectively removing all of its attacks from your height level and giving you a safe round. The downside is that it can also pull you down with its gravity when timed poorly. And since player controlls are disabled while respawn animation plays, you cant run away from the electric ball gravity, which stunlocks you in a cycle of being pulled into water, and taking damage from both water and the ball. Still, its a neat trick when done right.
I beat the dlc today. Overall, this was a great game and I will definitly go back to it whenever I want to. I will be looking forward too Radical's next game.
Seeing Lily lose so thoroughly was nice. She was my least favourite PVP battle, since she breaks the rules that players normally have. Even when I caught her in a level 3 shock dash art, she was continually dodging without stopping.
@@Doomroar well i wouldn't say that her fight is somehow difficult,just use dash arts during her ults and spend all last sp for quick melee arts to take her down and repeat until you win(got platinum as well on first try)
lol this game is brutal question on HILLCART aka doc, is there not a way to destroy him? he flashes red, and the code for him suggests you can stun him right at the start I just cant figure it out..
You know what's impressive? the fact he didnt use the ''Perfect block an attack and ____'' skills even once for the Appolo 4 fight although i cant even 5-4 him with every skill i could unlock on the second fight.
So...... If I get it right do you play a player in a virtual game who is actually a fake player (Advanced AI thing? Clone of a person's mind?) that can't speak many words? ...Trying to understand a story by only watching bossfights and some cutscenes is quite hard....
Seriously, how are you doing that much damage against the Ancient Gods? I am at about the same level and I can hardly put a dent in them. It takes forever for me to chew through their HP.
Although Gellot didn't show it in the fight, I found using the Elven Orb art (Wave Throw Lv2 bottom) right as the secondary gods were spawning ramped their break meters up to the point that I could sometimes skip that entire section, if not it would make breaking them be a matter of a single hit; and then using Song of Storms (Shock Melee Lv3) and/or Flickering Stars (Shock Dash Lv3 Left), I could ramp the main boss break meter in one cycle, after which you just run damage and another art or two to finish the stage. So long as you have ascended equipment your stats shouldn't be too far from what Gellot has, and those stats aren't really a glass cannon build either (that would be more like 250-300 def max in neutral element, not 460).
@@KEN4K Before I forget, when I said skills I ment the entire skill tree, because I think in every tree theres atleast one or two HP regen on each branch.

Those quests are no longer console exclusives. You can get all of them now.

Why did you took hit and then gain hp without items?
Theres some equipments that give healt regen and a few skills. (sorry if I misspeled a thing or two because english is my second language)
Also if you reach the next phase of the boss you get healing equal to a percentage of your max HP.
