Honestly, one of the really genius parts here is when you change to Fire in the middle of a different element's art to boost your attack stat and by extension its damage. I would have just directly used Ragnarok, especially on Shizuka seeing as you first use it while playing as her.
Ngl the hexacast class looks pretty sweet. It's hard to keep track of what other characters are doing when you're playing normally but seeing a pvp like this is a nice showcase of the different combat arts and abilities. Wish we could face more characters in pvp though, kinda surprised Emilie isn't up for a few rounds with you at any point.
The thing i probably hate the most about those duels is that you can only go for a punish when the game allows you to because it is really hard to get it if the enemy is not in its long vulnerable state
You can unlock pets in the game that will follow you everywhere, can't remember how to get the duck specifically, but yeah. :p Unfortunately, they don't seem to do anything like add in some little extra attacks, weak or not. :( Their just there to look pretty I guess. ^^; (My main one so far is a cute fox myself. :p).
go to the magical tree at old hideout, as for lily, complete their quest, they are just right near the arena entrance (highmeister gloves recommended for lily duel)
You got to do some kind of sidequest for it and they permanently stick around just hanging out at there. :p Their kind of the main starter arena pvp person, at least to me. :?
You can find her at her favorite spot in the hideout after the final temple run. Go speak with her and she'll talk about a rematch, then the event will appear.

Idk why, but Apollo was hardest for me and I tried many times to get Platinum on his duel, while with other two I done with first try. After that, pvp with Apollo became my favorite and I fight him sometimes.

You can cause thr vulnerable state by perfect blocking the enemy melee attacks, IIRC.
You may also use the eletric guard art lvl2.

I’ve found that these pvp characters can’t see the fire mines, so a lvl 2 fire dash can be amazing.
