This is so soulful and good feeling music. Whoever gave this a thumbs down needs intense psychiatric care.

I'm sad about his death. I talked to him on the phone a few times over the last few years. He was very friendly. Thanks for the video.

Clarence, your voice was strong and top-notch, right to the end. We'll miss you, but your music lives on.

When he kicks in that hi voice and then super low I was f*#%ing knocked out my seat. Blacks had so much class and talent in the 50’s (of course they still do now as well ) before we turned the page to the 60’s and all shit hit the fan culturally.
You can so see how the big band sound of the 30’s and 40’s picked you the rhythm and rock in roll sound of the 50’s and melded.
Strange how blacks were so welcome in the arts of the 20’s thru 50’s but not mainstream society. We are all equal and gifted in random ways.

Clarence is still going strong. He'll play at the New Orleans Jazz Fest this year on May 1.

Frog is a good musician and singer. Intertainer. Just like Fats Domino/Professor Longhair all New Orleans.

    "What should I sing tonight?"
"Just do your hits and the daft Frog-voice song!"
    "Ok. Anything else?"
"Do a couple of Fat Guy songs"
    "You what?"
"You know - Fats Domino, Chubby Checker. Fat Guy songs!"
    "This is so demeaning!"
"Oh shut up, Frog Boy or we'll take our £20 back!"
I'm jesting of course! Very talented guy!! 👌🎶

Tihs Fats sounds dead compared to his great recordings. But it was a time of studio overkill and the rise of corporate sessions.
