I'm glad you noticed that! This way of using the Ball-head Warclub highlights a lot of stuff that will appear in Chinese Long Fist empty hands combat as well as Luzon lowland styles of Largo in Arnis (Filipino Martial Arts) The details are of course different but the method of maximizing reach leads to certain similar conclusions for the human body and mind :)
this reminds me a lot of boomerangs and other types of throw-club, have you read or heard anything about if these things were used as throwing weapons as well?
@@DoctorKwack It's possible but I'm not sure about how common that was... that said tomahawks were thrown in combat and recorded in European writings. In older times Europeans had Francisca and Hurlbat... Polynesians, Australian aborigines and South Indians often threw clubs so I believe Native Americans might've at times but again I'm unsure how common that was.
