Thanks for the history lesson! Your channel is awesome. There was a brief mention in a history textbook I read about something called the "willow palisade". If i remember correctly it was meant to keep northern raiders out of China, i cant remember if it was Manchu or a different group. I suppose I'll be needing to dig that rabbit hole a bit. Anyway, i appreciate the video!

@@Beijaflordaamazonia Manchu are descendants of Jurchen and are a part of the Tungusic ethnolinguistic family. Nurhaci united his Jurchen people, renaming them Manchu (off of a particular social class) and conquered China. I'll make a video about them in the future!
