Morning Daniel! Good 🍵 viewing! With the tsunami of quarters that the mint has issued, it's inevitable that something would come of it!! Merry 10th Day Of Christmas!!
Thanks Dan for your reply to my question. Jill try and do that send it conica. Thanks again. Ur the king. Have a grate day and woderful new year. Doug from Indy.
Thank you for the info I truly appreciate it I found an error coin it only weighs 10 .6 becoming a PCGS member to send it in to get graded thank you Daniel for all your information that you continuously Feed Us and happy New Year🎉🎊
You probably going to have to grade it as an error. I think PCGS charges around 60 something for an error if my memory serves me right. NGC charges I think 16 for an error. I would use NGC to grade errors and PCGS for my regular submissions.
I would like to know how to get a coin that was made from an experimental planchet. It sounds like it was an inside job. You would think the mint would not release a experimental coin.
What something is worth is what people are willing to pay, and in an auction it is possible the bidding might drive the price higher as the competition drives the cost up at that time. As you pointed out the value might be very different in the market at a different time.
I have the 1999 with the famle on the back . If it was struck on the experimental blanchet the gold wouldn't fight on it would it? The gold on Mine is a tiny bit faded not alot and its in at least good shape.
The Delaware proof you stated was silver had a weight of 5.67g, I thought silver was 6.2g? Also the info on the experimental planchet was literally stating that there are experimental planchets.
Do you think graded coins could lose their grade overtime due to sitting in the holder for months to years and maybe even decades? Do you think like an MS62 could become an MS61.
I have a 2003 P Missouri state quarter that is completely silver on the ridge . I have no coin scale so it isn't possible to weigh it. What else can I do without damaging it to verify the metal composition and potential value as a discovery coin?
Hey Dan Doug here from Indy. A few days ago I ask u about the mass state quarter. I'd any doubling has been found. U got back with me. And thank u by the way. Maybe the mint done it to encourage coin collecting.
I have a roll of uncirculated 1999P GA quarters and was wondering how I would be able to tell if they are worth anything
What something is worth is what people are willing to pay, and in an auction it is possible the bidding might drive the price higher as the competition drives the cost up at that time. As you pointed out the value might be very different in the market at a different time.

Your in good company. I can't keep up either. I might as well have a conveyer move past my eyes while under a big magnifying lense.
The Delaware proof you stated was silver had a weight of 5.67g, I thought silver was 6.2g?
Also the info on the experimental planchet was literally stating that there are experimental planchets.
It was on the slab and where did you see it was 5.76 grams? Silver quarter is 6.3 grams.
CoinHELPu 5:24 when you scroll down, it states the weight at 5.67
I suppose just their mistake.
@@n00bJesus yep, look at the silver on the slab then look at Heritage composition. 75% copper and 25% nickel so someone messed up.
Do you think graded coins could lose their grade overtime due to sitting in the holder for months to years and maybe even decades? Do you think like an MS62 could become an MS61.
How could that happen? It cant obtain more marks or wear. If someone damaged the holder as in crushed it and scratched the coin then yes.
Is there such thing as a copper quarter I found one in my pocket change 2000 Maryland quarter from Pennsylvania

A weight scale is about the only option to know if its truly unique or not
@Jeremiah Smith what would be the weight variable I should be getting for a no error state quarter vs error?
@Jeremiah Smith I do now own such a scale.
I only know about pennies mostly im sorry
