Gary was one of the best when he played hardrock because he made good songs and his playing was recognizable, fierce, melodic, fast but stilll melodic with a bluesy influence. When he played blues he was a fresh wind after SRV had died. He played rock blues with lots of fire, great tone and made some good songs but to me he got very repetative and quite predictable. To call him the greatest is quite a stretch. Why don't you just say my favourite?

All came good in the end.A really great gig,and I got paid.
