I've owned three Harleys and numerous other bike. I tend to trust the Kawasaki more than the HD, but I have to say the HD looks well designed while the Vulcan looks thrown together. I too wish there were subtitles, but I understand the limitations.

I agree it would be nice to know what he is saying, so lets just say he likes the Harley better lol. The HD is much cleaner looking and doesnt look cheap like the Kawasaki. Im not saying the Vulcan is cheap just that it looks it. Ride safe.
I would have to disagree the Vulcan looks better, cheaper, and its quicker. Other then a Haley bage it has nothing on the Vulcan xD also the sound because the 750 sounds pretty damn good.
In your opinion the Vulcan looks better and where did you see stats that its faster. The Vulcan is made in Thailand please dont tell me you think that kind of quality can compete with American, Italian or even Japanese bikes. By the way documented testing show the Harley as a very good machine but the contrary with the New Vulcan. And it doesnt have the power of the Harley and so it shouldnt because the Vulcan is a 650 not a 750. Check it out on the net.
Cc doesn't mean fast power means fast and tourqe is how fast you get there. The Vulcan makes 60 hp and the Harley makes about 57 the Vulcan has plastic, yes may look cheap but over all the Vulcan is the better looking bike. The icing on the cake is the Harley is about 1200 more then the vulcan.
Also Kawasaki is Japanese

I own a 2015 vulcan s and I love it. only HD I have riden was a big ass electra glide and I hated it Compared to my vulcan. it has plenty of power no matter what rpm your at and I think it looks better then most HD

The Kawasaki is a proper modern bike, with better fuel economy, larger tank, and more powerful engine. Also, it's probably much more realiable. It's the same engine of my Versys 650. Sorry, but harley is just obsolete. Btw, not fair comparing the aftermarket exhaust.
The Vulcan looks better to me, but the HD sounds better. I wished they would have made the Vulcan belt drive as well...

I rode two Harley's in my life. They were fun. But also the most dysfunctional and loud pieces of junk I've ever sat on. But enormous fun. That said, I chose the Vulcan after having spent a year on a Bonneville T100 and five years on a Tiger 800 roadie.
The fact that the reviewer would choose the "real deal" was apparent in the first minute or so already. :)

First impression with the exhaust sound was unfair. Comparing the stock exhaust on the Vulcan S, vs an aftermarket exhaust on the Harley... lol tsk tsk.
The Vulcan S is the superior bike
The Vulcan S is hands down superior to the Street 750. If you are picking between these 2 bikes and you pick the Street 750 over the Vulcan S, you are strictly picking the name and you just screwed yourself. There is just no competition as far as reliability and quality. If you really want a Harley, spend a couple K more and just get the Sportster. Funny thing is, the Vulcan S outruns and out performs the 883 Sportster also. Even gives the 1200 a run for it's money rofl.
I currently own a 1200 sportster and a Honda 750. Looking seriously at the Vulcan S. From what I've read, the S is actually faster than the 1200 in 1/4 mile and 0-60.
1200cc with 115hp and 100nM??? realy??/ ok, I'll throw my harley in the trash, and buy a pissed-off vulkan. and 2nd gear just in case.

Det kan godt irriterer mig at han bliver ved med at kalde dem choppers. Det er cruisers, og disse 2 er ikke choppers. Man ville kunne modificerer dem til at blive choppers, men de er ikke choppers som udgangpunkt.
Gear problemet med Vulkan ligger ikke i gearkassen.
Hvad angår siddestilling på Kawasaki, skulle du overveje om Ergo-fit er sat korrekt op til din benlængde.

LOL. The amount of fucks he gave revving the Harley after doing the Vulcan brought tears to my eyes. I'm pretty sure Kawasaki won this round.
I like Harleys but this one is TOO SMALL! The Vulcan has thicker tyres and is bigger (more comfortable especially for tall guys like me), heavier, quieter and has the more refined design.
For me the Kawa wins hands down.
HOWEVER, should I want a Harley, I'd NEVER buy this Street 750, but rather pick the Low Rider, the Fat Bob or the Fat Boy (in either version 107 or 114). Hands down the winners over ANY Kawa and any other custom (except probably the Triumph Rocket 3, which is not a proper custom).

Harley does not deliberately sell bikes with defects, come on! They arent number one with that kind of thinking and marketing strategy. Sounds like sour grapes to me but to each his own.
+Dragan M I feel the need to note that Harley Davidson is only number one in sales in the US, and there only in the one market segment where it competes, not in total. It specializes in selling motorcycles to a specific US demographic, and is a very small company in any other metric.
That said, I am not sure what defect you are talking about, because sadly I don't speak Danish and couldn't follow the review.

U can buy a realy good exhaust and still be at a nicer price..
