i just bought mine last year, to be honnest i was hesitating to get or not. but when i got it, maaaaaaan, the image quality is just on another level, i have the mavic 3,but it s not even close
X7 or x5s? It’s an incredible image, my issues were in performance and reliability sadly. And that trumps a beautiful image when on set. The inspire 3 is incredible though… it’s like a floating Alexa with the control of a mavic 3
"I'll Take It!" You have to remember why you purchased this drone. Just like the Inspire 1, it was the "ish," at the time and you learned the art of manipulating and controlling the aircraft to get the results you wanted. Before avoidance sensors existed, you had to fly, "by the seat of your pants." Obstacle avoidance can get in the way at times and lot of operators turn it off. The Mavic 3 Pro bumped up the game so now you have the Inspire 3. I recently purchased the Mavic 3 but would enjoy flying this monster just to draw attention.
I have several drones .. mavic 3 pro.. mini 4 pro and others but still have the first drone I ever bought when they were new … my inspire 1 and I still enjoy it today
I just came across an i2 x7 combo with both licenses, 6 batteries and that $1000 960gb SSD and reader for only $3999 today.. after selling mine last year I miss it and am actually considering buying it again
As an Inspire 2 owner, my biggest con with this drone is that the transmission is absolute trash and so unreliable, it's a great drone don't get me wrong but you need to invest heavily into it to make the footage usable, licenses in a must and x5s or x7 camera. I hate the fact that the crystal sky is only compatibile with this drone in 2024 and I haven't tried the Cendence remote to see if connection is better but I feel like it will be a waste of money now after investing in a normal controller, batteries, lenses for my X5s and crystal sky.
Exactly! The x7 is a must now for professional set work, and the reliability from positioning was the main reason I said goodbye. It simply won’t stay still in the air…
I agree with the transmision being poor, for around $500 AU you can modify the TX and I get up to 10K away no problem, not now the batteries have 60 cycles on them. and forget the Crystal Sky, move up to the Tripltek 9 tablet with 12gig ram
Actually no, I’ve seen it happen on a seperate account inspire 2 - critical failure can occur when a battery fails, the craft requires both battery sources to run, it’s the same as battery temperature consistency. Both need to be leveled and the same or a crash can occur.
It’s required to start the motors. It’s not required to maintain flight. Maybe this could have happened on an earlier firmware but this is not the case on the latest firmware. DJI implemented key safety features when anomalies happen with the voltage of one battery or the other which involves throttling the power consumption which a lot of us are not fans of, but as long as one battery has enough juice to power the aircraft, it will power to either RTH or auto land.
Useful video. Thx Is it possible to operate the i2 as a single pilot? I’m considering a second hand i2+x7 for mainly still photography. Thx Best regards
I own an I2 and typically always fly as single operator for video and photo. Dual operator is necessary for complex shots in demanding spaces, but for most typical situations, single operator is no problem as long as you're not trying to get too complicated with camera moves.
Yo lo tengo en la actualidad año 2024. Y por su fuerza lo uso para riega de manila. O tendidos de líneas eléctricas de torre a torre y va muy bien. Tengo 10 baterías
Sorry, but with mine, a lot of what you are saying is not true. Mine... while I have not flown in a while has worked great. All 6 batteries stay inside the big case,, and set to slowly discharge after 3 days. They have set for like 6 months without issues.
The image is really the only thing, and sadly that’s not enough to depend on. Getting the shot is the good, but it’s the getting to getting the shot that’s the issue
It's simply a rich persons game. Excellent products. But sadly DJI take the piss and constantly milk more and more money off everyone. Sad world we live in. Commercialism and capitalism serving no one but the corporations.
I agree, with you I was thinking this the other day with the ban. They did me dirty so I am really not to upset to see the ban! They released the mavic 3 that I purchased then found out there was a pro model. Bought the m30t two weeks later reduced price by $4k. Bought inspire2 and all accessories for about $17k and year later I can’t sell it for $4k because new one came out. Their pricing is way out of hand in my opinion . They have completely taken over the market and that’s great for them but they got to greedy.
Buy or sell? What are your thoughts on the Inspire 2 system?

I’ve had my inspire 2 since 2018 and I’m never parting with it….. the image quality just looks fantastic!!

I sold mine for $4k last year but I miss it enough that these used i2’s with my X7 on Adorama for $2500-$3k sure make me want to buy it again 😊
It is definitely a special bird 🦅
This drone will not fall out of the sky if one of the batteries fail. That’s the whole point of a dual battery system. You are 100% wrong on that one.

Compared to the inspire 2 😂 loads of them since release have been dropping like stones…
@@epic2105Only two reports I’ve seen in all the Inspire 3 FB and DJI groups.
I’ve seen someone fly i2 with one battery
I spent a fortune on the inspire 3 and its accessories and I can’t say it was worth it especially since the mavic 4 is coming out next year
Its the workhorse of the drone world!

Right? The video and results are top tier but the performance, handling and reliability of the drone are definitely an issue

How long we gone let Dji get away with killing there battery line?

Great to hear your bird has been reliable! The Ins 2 is a great bird for many users, just not for me in my production flow :)
For what it's worth, there's a lovely image out of the inspire 2 that holds up perfectly today. Everything else tho, is cat.
