Really nice and honest review. I really like the cooperation between you and your wife on those shots as I have an idea to bring my middle kid into the drone business at some point :) I currently have the m3pro and have thought about expanding into the I3 as the next step up in production value, mainly to be able to handle better assignments like you also mention in this video. With a plan to also add the Ronin 4d to the "arsenal" as well, these two platforms should be able to deliver a very cohesive result from both ground and air :)
Great breakdown of how it shoould be done. Nothing compares to having two operators on a drone. You cannot get a decent paying job without this protocol. Period. Thanks for the video.
Yep! All said is true, been flying drones almost from the beginning, from the times when you had to solder and flash all its components, amazing how simple things become nowadays . Unfortunately flying for you own pleasure now almost impossible because of war in my country. Greetings from Ukraine !
Just bought the Ronin 4D 8k so it might be a few years before I can consider a 20k drone but you’re right, you need two operators to get the best results regularly!
A new video from the best gimbal/support man on YT! It's been too long! Remember folks, it's not your camera that counts, it's what BestBoy Adam can do with it...
Yes, I watched the animals up close and other films by Bertie Gregory, and that go me to finally pull the trigger on a blackmagic camera, gotta start somewhere... also watching I saw that they used the mavic 3 quite a bit, I'm not sure, but I think the top down view of that iceberg shot was with the mavic 3... Wish I could afford the inspire 3 but think unless they have a new mavic 4 out by the new year I'll be getting the mavic. Nice that it paid for itself so quickly!
The learning curve on use this drone and color grading pro res raw is very steep. After a year of using it, my footage is starting to look good especially with the new 75mm 1.8 lens which was a much need addition to the x9 gimbal camera. 8K looks good but you only really need 4k on this drone and the image is spectacular. If you shoot sports or moving subject you will need a second operator to pull focus especially when using any lens over 24mm shooting F10 or less
I really admire you and your wife. I wish I had inspirational people like you in my life and not just on UA-cam. Thanks for another insightful video!

At least when you do eventually buy it if you use DL lenses they will work on both. :)

NIce video! Where do you sell your stock footage?
Would love to have this drone but that entry cost is quite steep
Hmmm. I think I live too far out in the countryside to get enough work, but I’d love to focus on aerial cinematography.
how do you do a cable cam set up?
