Rockstar always achieves immersion on their games, even older ones like GTA SA feels more lifeful than several current games And this level of quality that Rockstar has is the same as with your channel
I’d argue that Rockstar often aim for immersion over gameplay. Like, say what you will about Ubisoft’s games but at least they don’t mission fail you for trying to be creative. Saints Row 2 was very good in terms of the world (well the entire was very good), Personally I believe it to have one of, if not the best game map, Stillwater had a lot of life in it. Aaand then they made possibly one of the worst maps with Steelport in Saints Row 3.

For me, Rockstar is just like every other AAA video game company now. All of these AAA companies have had their heyday. Ubisoft push the boundaries of Military/SWAT games, right alongside Splinter Cell and its stealth game play, and the arise of Assassin's Creed and Far Cry. Activision with its COD series between COD4 to Black Ops 2. EA with its polished games, where their older game showing interesting game play mechanics than their modern releases. All of these companies have had their moments that'll lived on for rest of time. But who knows though, maybe Rockstar, or at least one of these companies, will turn a corner for the better, a slim chance, but it doesn't hurt to think on it.

I'm still learning new things about rdr2. Did you know that the more you use a weapon the better Arthur gets at using it? It can be tracked in the compendium weapons section by selecting a weapon and looking at the bottom for "familiarity". The more you use it, the faster Arthur can reload and shoot. For instance, the bolt action at max familiarity is cocked a lot faster than a low familiarity bolt action

What's really sad is not the death, but slow decline and decay of such brilliant game developers like Rockstar. It hurts to see abandoned franchises that still have fanbases that get ignored, or even their popular titles (GTA/RDR) that get ignored. Plenty of amazing ideas out there that have been seen by Rockstar that get ignored, that would breathe new life into such games/franchises. They only listen to money, money talks - even willing to sacrifice what little reputation they gained with RDR 2 on the trilogy just to make a quick buck. Maybe one day we will see a company like the Old Rockstar North, or even Rockstar themselves come back, but I fear it won't be anytime soon. Players keep playing/buying their games, so why change when the money keeps rolling in? Edit: 11:30 and That shows how they've changed, be it because of Take-Two, Rockstar themselves, shareholders, money or all the above. It shows their heart changed, sure they still have some people in the works who can create good content, but the heart isn't there like it used to be, money is the most important thing now. As RDR Online being completely abandoned (and other beloved franchises simply not existing anymore) has proven.

2. Oh yeah what's next? N4Z*? CP? i don't think 9/11 is a good idea at the first place, sure feel free to throw muricans fat soldiers vs middle east suicide bombers jokes, but that is a tragedy.
3. Yeah but who else would help it 'normalizing' it? GOW1 & 2 never had an actual scene of doing things ,the camera just moves away while giving you buttons and analog prompts.
4. +1 Rockstar have a problem with mission designs, while Deus Ex and Morrowind had more details than RDR2 back in 2002.

Rockstar is irrelevant, Take-Two are the ones making the decisions
That's what we got for making them top 1 company in the videogame history since they have no competition they won't release more games so soon.
Gta 5 sold more than the biggest movies, that's why they won't release gta 6 so soon and keep focusing on multiplayer...
@@Nunvalt223 And it's not like good competitors haven't existed, Saints Row 2 and Sleeping Dogs were definitely close to and possibly better than GTA, Problem is at least with Saints Row they were getting called gta clones and I assume that's why they made Saints Row 3, well, bad. I have no idea what happened to Sleeping Dogs but either way, Seems like almost all studios don't even attempt to make any modern-crime-open-world anymore, and the ones that do don't make very good ones.
Rockstar always achieves immersion on their games, even older ones like GTA SA feels more lifeful than several current games
And this level of quality that Rockstar has is the same as with your channel
I’d argue that Rockstar often aim for immersion over gameplay.
Like, say what you will about Ubisoft’s games but at least they don’t mission fail you for trying to be creative. Watch Dogs 2 won’t tell you to try again if you try and kill a target in a different way than what’s intended. While RDR2 or GTAV will fail you for sometimes even going off road.

What we need is devs watching this and protesting against the new Rockstar inside the studio so that Rockstar and T2 would be forced to finally listen. This was such an amazing series. Sad its over but im so happy to have watched this.

Fun fact: in the San Andreas co-op CJ can sound the horn if the other person is in the car and CJ can even sound it if he’s out of the car.

Edit:
11:30 and That shows how they've changed, be it because of Take-Two, Rockstar themselves, shareholders, money or all the above. It shows their heart changed, sure they still have some people in the works who can create good content, but the heart isn't there like it used to be, money is the most important thing now. As RDR Online being completely abandoned (and other beloved franchises simply not existing anymore) has proven.
