I thinks it’s stupid that you have to tell insurance that you’ve modified your car. Especially if it’s just cosmetics. They aren’t going to make it go faster are they. It shows that the cars cared for and is good for the road. Police officers were prat’s aswell.

Got stopped in the the Honda civic before and they knew it had a louder exhaust than it should and different seats the coppers didn’t even bother checking anything they just checked my insurance was valid… these cops that dealt with you.. personally give other cops a bad name but that’s my opinion

Putting a stupid livery on your car is just gonna make it stick out like a sore thumb (sorry just facts). Nothing wrong with body modifications, but car graphics are gonna turn heads, and sometimes it's the ones you don't want looking at your car (whether or not you have or haven't broken the law).

Well really its aimed at groups of cars but yes essentially it could be seen as an offence to travel with your mates in a group of "modified" cars. Stupidity, if you're driving like a tit your driving like a tit. Don't see why they need a stupid blanket law against all modded cars.

Also understand that driving like a tit at these meets etc can lead to bad accidents but compared to road accidents in general it cant be nearly as bad. Funny video dude but you can't really play victim when you literally have videos on your channel. If they pulled up your youtube on the spot then you'd be in a much bigger mess. Sounds like they had a valid reason with the front number plate and the excuse that it just fell off is literally what everyone tries to do and then put it on the windscreen instead. I think they were being pretty fair with you and they could have tried to do much more. Do make sure that you can declare aftermarket steering wheel, and maybe exhaust too (but steering wheel is blatantly different than stock by inspection) on insurance though or they may not pay out if you ever have to claim as the policy could be void based on that factor
Wrong. Plate must be vertical, easily visible from all angles from the front of the car. You can get away with odd spacing on the plate unless you find an anal copper.
