i got my self a lexus is200 as my first car ever and it’s the best car i ever drove for its budget, it’s so luxury compared to other cars in its price range, the only thing i would complain is the gearbox being to short or the lack of power tbh
IS200 is currently going through the same cultural reception that the twin cam did in the 90’s! Everything people say about the IS200 now most people said about twincams then! Slow Rotton Only good for diffing etc The price is already going up, only difference is the lack of racing/rally pedigree
I love my IS200 wagon. got plans for a supercharger go standalone and raising the rev limit to 8.5k rpm after doing some work to the head get some better springs bigger valves maybe cams ect ect. am now just doing all the other things around it to make you stop and suspension stuff make it ready for more.

My uncle bought one in 2003 it was only 2 years old at the time and I remember as a child I used to love it but tbh the way they are these days it’s a joke with them but

I have mine for 10 years, with no problems what so ever.. Very smooth engine and reliable car, I'm considering investing some money in turbocharger and infotainment system.. If anyone can name a 300hp 6cyl car with leather seats and a roof top for less than 10.000 euros i'm listening!?

Now i see why they cancelled and discontinued the gs300,gs350,gs400,gs430 and the gs450 smh 🤦 because Lexus wants to make money #greed # people will constantly buy those is Lexus and keep going to the mechanic shop 😂😂😂😂😂,the gs is very reliable and i see so many on the road today as i write this and honestly it is faster than the is 300 etc,only thing is that it is 300 pounds heavier than the is Lexus but power is totally different and they limit the old is300 because they had one tail pipe,while the gs300 had two tail pipes,people don’t really know about cars anymore,they just buy them for looks

Do a v8 swap first? The chassis including the wagon is so small and light for a 4 door, imagine how great it'd be
