Great tip, I did not know this. Would love to see more.
I have many other great time saver tips 😎
I've been modeling for 10 years and I just recently learned this. What a massive time saver. You and Ayran are the MVP's of 3D modelling. Arrimus used to have a great collection of tutorials as well, but sadly they've been deleted.
Thanks man! Yeah Arrimus was also great!
AMAZING time saver
Thanks dude !
@@ThomasColin3D np, vid is 🔥
If the area you want to select has one surrounding edge loop, you can also select the loop, H to hide, L to select the rest of the faces in the area (now separated) and then Shift+H to unhide the loop.
I knew about that feature, but i wish I knew it before, you are great tho! Keep up with the good work
Thank you so much 👌👌
my go to tool for selection even rigs , scene object ,.3d vieport or UV editor , grouping , hiding, coloring vertex , edge face groups or object sets...is all possible ..2.0 is out now and its awesome
... Zen tool addon ..is so cool ...
14 $ ...
Zen tool is awesome yes 🤘🏻
Something that was left out is, it only works when in Face Mode. Vert and Edge Mode will still select the whole model.
Exactly, I forgot to say it, thanks for your comment :)
@@ThomasColin3D You're welcome. I had stumbled upon this years ago and had to figure out why it wouldn't work sometimes. So, it kinda sticks in my mind now. Still a good tip, just wanted to eliminate some confusion that could occur. 👍 I use it to help figure out where I've missed seam placement for UV's also, but, it's not exactly the same thing. 🙂
"Deselect Linked : Shit + L" lool
anyways, great vid man
Hahahaha
Great tip! what would you do if you need to have different seams for UV unwrapping?
Thanks :) I would remove the old selection seams once the model is finished, then make new ones for UV unwrapping !
@thomascolin3d makes sense, definitely gonna try this workflow. Thanks again! Looking forward to more dope content
@@FlickerJab thanks so much, I have lots of great tips to share 😁
Thanks for the discord noti from the other day. I've seen this before, but it's so easy to forget! Nice little reminder. SEAMS :)
Yeah so much things to remember in Blender haha
absolutly great
Thank you Paul 😀
