I am the same way I love to watch his stand up I am always in tears laughing so much, I start laughing knowing what he is gonna say , we miss you John God rest your soul
I took my kids to see him in what turned out to be the last year of his life. And that man was even funnier in person, if that was possible. A rare gift we received with John and one we'll always remember fondly and miss forever.
Saw him live in Saskatoon, felt bad for my sister, she was front row centre, and almost died from lack of oxygen from laughing so hard. Once she started laughing, he zeroed in on her, and was relentless!

Saw John perform the role of Edna in the Broadway musical "Hairspray". He was wonderful! and then I was privileged to be part of a Q&A session he did for our group after the performance (when he surely would've preferred to shower and go home?). What a gentle, funny, wonderful man. RIP John
This crazy, upside down world needs John's hilarious yet gentle, approach to humor. I think he loved making us laugh and he respected his fans with refreshing, clean humor. No one compares and he is sorely missed.
John was great! Before the internet I didn’t see him very often. UA-cam is good for this great stuff! Meanwhile, that’s the difference between the free market where bread waits for people, and socialism where people wait for bread. Brilliant observational comedy.
Just amazing no matter what he does to funny from this early days first time I see this ty to the rest of his career very gifted creative talented and always some thing different is why he was so like and so big in comedy
2:05... "Can you imagine if a Russian citizen walked into one of our supermarkets?"... True story - I'm now retired from a Sheriff's department in a county of about 900,000 population. In the late 1980s, perestroika was in full bloom. Our State Department was encouraging professional exchange between similar government agencies in Russia. A deputy who worked for me had family in Russia, and actually had a doctorate in some Russian discipline. He arranged an exchange between our department and a law enforcement agency in Russia. When their officers (All command staff, mind you.) came to the U.S. we showed them our criminal justice system along with as much of our culture as we had time for. The three areas that amazed them most were Disneyland, the sponsor's homes, and the supermarkets. They thought that the average working person in the U.S. lives in a castle. And anytime one of the sponsors' family members went to the store, they wanted to go with them and just look at all of the food. One of them commented that there was more cheese in one of our supermarkets than there was in their entire home city (A city of two or three hundred thousand as I recall.) On their last day before going back to Russia we offered to take them to whatever venue they wanted to see... They chose a supermarket.
John was a very funny comedian. I loved that he didn't use too many curse words in his performance. On a side note: in Jaws 4 - why would the shark seek revenge? Do the have a bulletin board where the sharks that get killed are listed with the name of their killer? Then one shark gets it in his head to do something about it? 😂😂😂
I once worked on a cruise ship at the buffet. Let me tell you, John Pinette would not necessarily have stood out of the crowd. Seen many people of similar size.
He uses simple words, easy to follow, and flat-out kills. Timing, personality, voice -- this man had it all. RIP John!
finely tuned words, descriptive and to the point, that's what makes him so good, he paints a picture with his descriptions.
He had all the cholesterol, also.
I've never seen this guy until the last 30 days. I'm the same age as he would have been, and I don't know how I never heard of him.
One of the G O A T, miss him so much
Binge watch John from time to time … “get out of the line”. I think this every time I’m in line. His clean humor is some of the best! RIP John.
like UK peter Kaye..check him owt
I say, nay nay.
You been in jail since nineteenFIFTYYYY
Thought this today at the atm

Literally one of the best comedians that has ever existed.
Literally is right! He was FANTASTIC and just getting started. What a loss.
John has a positive energy, he leaves the audience wanting to hear more....
I was working in a car dealership when he got famous. Whenever the office asked when a car would be done the standard response was 4 hour! LOL
I took my kids to see him in what turned out to be the last year of his life. And that man was even funnier in person, if that was possible. A rare gift we received with John and one we'll always remember fondly and miss forever.
He kept getting better and better and when I found him online I was so heartbroken that he had passed away. He left a big hole in comedy
That saddened me.i hope he's with Jesus. He is so awesome he'd be great to hang with
A huge hole
Saw him live in Saskatoon, felt bad for my sister, she was front row centre, and almost died from lack of oxygen from laughing so hard. Once she started laughing, he zeroed in on her, and was relentless!
I thought it would be because his stomach was suffocating her.
You guys should be comics.
What made up BS
That’s funny.
I may be out tomorrow Sid.
Little did he know, Sharknado would be a thing someday! RIP John, you were an awesome comedian!
I’ve been looking for the shark clip for years. Finally found it -so funny. He truly was one of the worlds funniest guys
Me to I busted my head open listening to the jaws. Fell of the coach hit my head on coffee table laughing so hard
God I miss John! We could use some of his comedy now.
Ain’t that the truth!!
You just had some.
Present day society couldn’t handle him, “fat shaming”, people would be too offended
One of, if not my favorite comedians ever. He was great!
Loved this man. Thanks for all the laughs John. Miss you. Rest in peace.
Wow! Some Pinette material I had never seen before! Excellent!
He only got better, and left us hungry for more!
LOL
And dry …
Flawless execution and it couldn't be easy for the big man, I'm glad the audiences realized and appreciated him, he was truly a gifted entertainer.
I wonder if it is part fat suit. Seems that it covers a little too much.. just saying. Maybe he lost weight and it hurt his comedic persona.
@ Glenn: Totally agree!

A master at self depricating humor. Miss him.
Man, how i miss this guy. Such a wonderful comedic talent he was.
I wish I could have seen him in person before he passed. Very funny man!! Gone too soon. ☮️💜
The getting attacked by the shark gestures were hilarious.
SOOOOOOO FUNNY! And refreshing proof that it can be done without every other word being an F-bomb!
He was without a doubt the funniest ever. I miss him.

The Beach? No. I don't want to go. I wanna stay home and clean my room! LOL~~
I used to watch an evening at the improv all the time in the early to mid 90's and I remember this set by Pinette. Thank you for the upload
So glad my brother and I saw him in person, Palace Casino, Biloxi, MS. He was excellent! Miss his comedy.
Clean, funny and sorely missed. A hilarious comedian.
What a genius of comedy! Carry on through with your humor forever beyond!!
One of my favourites ! Miss him so much! Thanks for sharing this !
He was one of the best. So sad he died back in 2014, just barely after he turned 50. He had such a great comedy routine.
The good ones like John leave us too soon. Comics who use foul language to be funny live far too long.
May his legacy of laughs live on forever! Rest in peace, John Pinette
Stumbled across his videos a few weeks ago and have been binge-watching them. He was a GIFT to us. Incredible talent and timing. RIP "Bigaboy"!
John performed at our grocery store company convention. Talk about performing in front of the perfect crowd. 1000 foodies in the house.
He was born to make people laugh! What a talent!
He was truly THE BEST! Clean comedy at its best!!!!! Miss this guy so much!!!
My wife and I saw him do this bit and we laughed so hard she peed herself!!! The shark jerking took her over the top !!!
We lost you far too soon John. You were terrific!

John Pinette was about as good as it got. That man was HILARIOUS!!

One of the best comics of all time. RIP John.
Was at a buffet today for lunch and figured I'd come here.
Just brilliant !
Gone too soon. A true comic genius. He always played off of his size, and was great at it but he would’ve been hilarious no matter what.
One of my favorite comedians. We still miss you, John. ❤

I watch his routines over and over.funniest guy ever.❤❤❤❤❤

He was so awesome. So sad he isn't still with us. But John has left us a wonderful gift of laughter. He could of had his own TV show easily

Holy crap the MC is Jameson Parker from Simon & Simon! RIP John Pinette he was such a funny man and he sadly died much too young.

If science could decipher the mind of a comic, in John they would discover a plethora of genius.
Holy Mackerel! That was funny. 😂😂😂
