With the way the skill is designed there is zero reasons to hold onto any damaged artifacts that aren’t for the express purpose of repeat collections. The material per exp from the artifact repair process ensures it’s never worth it to repair artifacts you have out grown the range for.
@@Galimeer5some people don't have enough materials to restore them. Especially if your iron man, when you find a new artifact, the materials you gathered while you find a new artefact is not enough to restore them
That's why you use caches. The only annoying thing with damaged artifacts is farming tetras. Otherwise if you restore as you level there's zero problem.

It would have been a good idea to inform players (from the start) that the requirements for 'A New Age' includes completion of Extinction AND Twilight of the Gods quests. The relic is absolutely useless!

Update to Archaeology? I guess I can take a break from Warforge to jump into this =D Also, please add an auto-collect to the Gem Bag and its variants so auto-collects gems while mining and killing.
We have two half auras, Resourceful (for caches, 10% to not deplete) and Wisdom. But it would be nice to see an aura that gives even more time spirit progress/lesser progress without the spirit, makes it moves even less, or just a boring +#% more precision.
I wish they'd seriously look at auras. Why are we completely avoiding adding new ones for YEARS? Archaeology should have one for precision, necro should have a combat one and one that assists rituals. I believe the last actual aura that came out was for divination when it came out? Disregarding the premier club auras. This is absolutely not something that needs to wait for an aura overhaul. It's something that should've been one of their first thoughts upon each skill release.
@@BrownayRS there were a batch of auras in late 2015 (legendary auras and dps auras), dark magic does work with combat necro. I do fully agree with you, I would love to see more auras in game.
The relics kinda a miss, summoning is pretty cheap and easy nowadays and this relic makes a pouch take longer than a full invy. You go from 15k+ charms an hour to like 1.4k if u count for banking
Pretty good. I like the graphical update, and that the rooms that have had nothing in them since launch will have the new excavation spots. The summoning relic might be ok... I think it's good if you just want to chill and it isn't double exp. If it's 50% base exp, it'll be a very strong relic though for dxp... So we will see. I like that the excavation spots also give tokens/wild cards as well (through handing in the collections). Might make this a very viable spot to train archeology so you can power through dungeoneering with wildcards after. Great job.
Why have you not given irons with this update a better way to farm binding contract materials. It's really tough to upkeep on some of the stronger binding contract familiars out there, like unfair kindof upkeep. This update was a perfect opportunity for jagex to help irons with this matter
NEW DIGSITE FEEDBACK: 1) Amazing graphics. Nothing to complain about them. 2) Lore: extremely underwhelming aspect, it had much potencial and almost nothing was explored. You didn’t even write a short book to give in new lore insights… huge letdown. You didn’t even MENTION the Rift or the 61th floor, or even how Zaros’ empire interacted with Daemonheim’s ruins… it was Zarosian territory. 3) Music: Huge letdown. Only 1 new track! Disappoiting!! And it’s ambience music. Why are you saving up so much on updates? 4) Innovation: You didn’t even give us a new saga by Skaldrun! Skaldrun wasn’t even considered a site manager… Nothing interesting… my god… 5) Daemonheim’s graphical was long overdue and congrats on taking this step. But you gave us a somewhat hollow update… almost no lore, no music, no new materials, no aura, no storage place for artefacts, people will just grab their skilling offhands and and say a long goodbye, it’s forgettable…

Out of context of the game, I've always heard 'daemon' pronounced demon. Ingame I've certainly heard it pronounced this way for Daemonheim since it was a year old or even less probably. It's like people not knowing glacor is pronounced glay-sore even though a voice-over said it as early as Halloween 2011.

That’s your choice, we have plenty of great community mods and Blkwitch is super frequently interacting with players in particular. You asks anyone she us probably one of THE most well known RS3 Jmods at this point because of how influential and constant her presence has been.
Surely that’s a good thing though? Your examples are both CM who are expected to be in the public eye, plus Osborne who as lead designer was also player facing. But now all 3 have left so we have tons of new mods on these dev diaries, meaning surely you know MORE mods than you did before? They are also always active on Twitter and the more dev diaries they do, they more mods you’ll know
Many devs are highly active on twitter, discord, and reddit. They often share details of their work and future updates. The community connection is there, you just have to go to the right places
As a returning player… I hated archeology til level 120 and realized I made 860mil Gp (still not enough for soulbound lantern) 😂😂😂 lol I followed a UA-cam guide step by step and now I’m fully in!!! 200mil xp here I come and hopefully make more gp so I can start bossing! Osseus is cool and all but I want a chance at Rasial or Zamorak! Much love scapers🫡🇺🇸❤️
the relic is disappointing. was hoping fora combat one but especially not a summoning thing that is kinda useless when dexp exists and then watch this relic doesnt work on summoning. gf me and all th eother 5.8ers. everything else is super exciting. skill offhands are great, collection logs are dope. but man that relic sucks xd

You're supposed to restore them and hand them off to collectors, not keep them in your bank.

You don’t gain nearly enough material per excavated artifact to restore them immediately
