Aerion brightflame would like to be added to the list
How crazy can you be to think drinking wild fire would turn himself into a dragon smh...good joke/reference!
That Maekar son made shame of all his Ancestor Expecialy the original Lord Aerion/Orys, Visenya Aegon & Rhaenys Father. 🤦
bro thinks he is him
Still can't believe the maesters got away with poisoning his wildfire
@@somethingclever1718same, he would have been a powerful dragon
Jon getting a ice dragon in his spin off north of the wall would be sick
The spin off series is not happening now
Jon eating an ice popsicle on a dragons back would be sick too.
@priyanshumishra6023 good, it would've been boring af, what's he gonna do at the wall, the white walkers are gone, the wildlings are allies and love Jon, the children of the forest are dead, what else is there for him to do
@@Kawasaki10rr claim drogon and explorer old Valeria and maybe find more dragons and other things that were thought to be lost that would be cool
@agaimless3724 claim Drogon after Drogon witnessed him kill Daenerys, yeah I don't think so
They need a show that take place way back in the day before the Valyrian people found the dragon eggs.
For the record, Wyverns are not exactly "distant cousins" of dragons, but rather, an ingredient in their creation. The ancient dragonlords created dragons with blood magic, by merging Wyverns and Fire Wyrms. In the song that Daemon sang to Vermithor in S1 of HotD, that we also hear in the latest episode, there is a nod to this origin:
Fire breather
Winged leader
But two heads
To a third sing
As one we gather
And with three heads
We shall fly as we were destined
Beautifully, freely
The third head is the rider, and two more, winged leader is the Wyvern part and fire breather is the Fire Wyrm part. This song is seemingly part of the bonding ritual with a dragon.
It would be cool to see if ice dragons could only be tamed by starks
I'd dump my shorts full if I saw an undead dragon.
If I rememnber well George wrote a nouvel about a girl and an ICE dragon but not sur it is in asoiaf canon
George has said it is not in the same universe yes, he also said in a Penguin Clubhouse Interview that an animated movie based on it is in the works (although the current writing strike has probably put it on halt for now)
@@behurastudio ok I didn't know for thé movie, thanks
He’s says it’s not related but the first few pages of the book says otherwise
Is that the one where the little girl feels nothing so she is ''cold'' and can touch the dragon but at the end convinces the dragon to help her save her family and then it melts?
@@jurepec5779 yeh
Technically all dragons in ASOIAF are wyverns.
The difference between a wyvern and a dragon is that a dragon has 4 legs and 2 wings, while wyverns have 2 legs and 2 wings
Love the political intrigue and machinations, but id also love to see a spinoff that focuses more on the lore, beasts, monsters, and magic that is often referenced and alluded to in the books and show.
Dragons are blood magic creatures forged of firewyrms and wyverns.... its a combination. They grow faster and are stronger in the presents of fire. Like the iternal fire of danaerys
Blue eyes white dragon
Thing is, Danny's Dragons are actually anatomically Wyverns. Same with basically if not all Dragons shown in HotD
We have yet to get a dragon tho, its all wyverns so far
Imagine introducing monster zero (ghidorah) in the series 💀
Jon will mount on this and conquer all the kingdoms
Everything in this book is a wyrm anyway
Allegedly
It literally happens in the books
i wonder where did they come from
The dragon has replaced dinosaurs in the world song of ice and fire
WHAT IF HICCUP HAD DREW ALL OF TYPES OF DRAGONS IN HTTYD AND GOT SIAF
Why the heck didnt the Night king tame a Snow Dragon
Where five-head dragon and blue-eyes white dragon
So the dragon of valeryans are in reallity wyverns
Couldn't the Walkers just get an ice dragon?
Don’t pin goldfishy999
Lol I commented and edited it to this when I saw you 😂
Are these even mentioned in the Books or they're just fan made.😂😂
I hope Jon Snow gets an ice dragon.
fr
Cool that will never see them 😂😂 half this world is not even written down. It’s all just mystery 👻
Well that's dumb
Cause the regular dragons are already Wyverns. A regular dragon would have 4 legs and so wouldn't need to stand on his wings
The Ice Dragon is my second favorite Dragon in Elden Ring
but it is Defferent than ice dragon on Asioaf. because ice dragon physiology in book was more likely Chinese dragon than European dragon.
And damn annoying too. Borealis the freezing fog
Waiting on the elden ring dlc .....hopefully we get some more dragons
They're all the fucking same. The only difference between rot one and the first one is Miyazaki bursting into your room and holding you at gunpoint until you get on the atupid horse
@darellmawitjere nobody said they were the same. At all. You'll take any chance to try and sound knowledgeable huh?
"Giant krakens" let me be clear "krakenS"
Right tho like as in plural.. multiple krakens is heinous work😱
@@winstonjones6743
well not far fetched..
you know things can breed right ?
Dragons are not native to valyria, they've come from the shadow lands beyond asshai and they still live there till this day
That’s true, it’s most likely the great empire of the dawn were the first to tame them as Asshai and the shadowland were part of the empire and it’s a popular theory that Valyrians are descendants of the amethyst empress.
It is known.
@@lucasbelmonte2832 for me it's obvious with their Amethyst like eyes
@@accessdenied5998purple is the new green
I like the idea that the great empire of the dawn were the first dragonlords and that the Valyrians were their descendants or somehow related to them. it's a shame what happened t the GEOTD
Ah GRRM loves the phrase "half a heartbeat"
I wonder if some of these bad boys are tameable
That your wondering can get people killed 😅
probably can. because Valyria dragon was Chimera made from Whyvern & Firewhrm.
@@darellmawitjereThey needed magic for it. Probably some sort of blood magic hence why later on in Westeros only Targaryens were able to ride them. So if you're just a regular dude then the odds of you taking them.....are quite low
@@MrFredstt yeah they use blood magic. Fyi : Valiryan blood magic also can Found in Qohoric & Qohoric Black smith like Tobho mott can use it for forging Qohoric metal a metal who was sharper than regular metal but little bit under the Valyriam Steel
@@AkeruZikora
Worth it.
Naga's bones are petrified parts of weirwood ship.
No. because actually Greyking sail to kill naga when he use Demon Ygg tree ship. probably Demon Ygg tree was Variant of wierdwood tree.
Remember when people thought that the Ice dragon eggs were in Winterfell 😂
Why didn’t they have the white walkers get a ice dragon. It would’ve been so dope and make so much sense
There is no such thing in the books, the is clickbait. In GOT there are lots of stories ppl tell about a 1000 years ago that aren’t true like the drowned gods a krakens
@@Gtex555 old nan literally tells the Stark children tales about ice dragons and Jon compares a couple times the chill in the Wall to the breath of an ice dragon, so in the books they are at least present as a legend
They are stated to be bigger than valyrian dragons (much bigger than balereon)
You forgot Firewyrms.
Differentiated from dragons bc they don't have wings
@@p3ter9000 So, the Sea Dragon had wings?
@@meganlodon Could be a wing-propelled diver like an auk
@@p3ter9000 That would be interesting.
@@meganlodon yes apparently so. But regardless the fire-worms is a completely different creature/species. Just take into consideration what happened in King Jaehaerys reign with his niece Aerea Targaryen when she claimed Balerion and he took her to Valyria. And when she returned and she died because of those worms that attacked her and were literally growing inside her. In the book was written like that, starting from the point she returns to king’s Landing after a year missing, and falls down from Balerion and a knight from the king’sGuard proceeds to pick her up :
That the princess's fever was so hot that he could feel it through his armor. She had blood in her eyes and her body had "something inside her, something moving", the knight said, until the king forbade him from speaking of the princess. Benifer left no account of Aerea's death, but according to an account in Barth's private papers, Aerea's fever was one unlike anything he had seen before. The septon described her as burning, with a red skin and having barely an ounce of flesh upon her bones, appearing gaunt and starved.
Barth reported that "swellings" moved underneath the princess's skin, possibly searching for a way to escape and causing a great pain. He wrote "I pray that I shall soon forget some of the things she whispered", and that she often begged for death. It seemed to Barth as if Aerea was cooking from within. Her flesh grew darker until it resembled pork cracklings; smoke came from her mouth, nose, and her nether regions. Aerea's eyes cooked within her skull until they burst. When the princess was lowered into the tub of ice, "slimy, unspeakable things" making horrible sounds emerged from under her skin-one as long as his arm-but the "creatures of heat and fire" died from the cold of the ice.
So literally they put eggs inside humans and then they kill the human coming out, but they die if they aren’t born in fire, and they were like snakes so no wings no capacity to fly. More like a parasite from a horror movie and it does fit really well with the doom of Valyria that it’s all that remains there, those parasitic creatures that will put their larvae inside of you and kill you from the inside out to multiply and maybe it was even then who caused the doom, maybe they were created by the use of blood magic by mixing different creatures in the search for power that was common for the empire. And we know they do like fire and very hot temperatures a big volcanic cataclysm would be something they would be capable of a large enough one in large quantity with access to several volcanoes 🌋 . And also explains why no one has ever returned from Valyria never.
Imagine Balerion the Black Undead
The Ice Dragon’s apparently all grow to the size of Vhagar terrifying
They are said to be far larger than the Dragons of Old Valyria
yes as if the valyrian dragons weren't powerful and scary enough, ice dragons exist that are even larger than them
Bigger. They grow bigger than the dragons of Valyria, and of the Valyrian dragons even Balerion the black dread was smaller to mid size.
No they don't. Why would you think they grow to the size of the second largest dragon when it is clearly stated they are MUCH LARGER
Much bigger
I like to think GRRM's The Ice Dragon (which he made before GOT) is actually a story told in universe to children across Westeros of course the details have been subject to a game of telephone for hundreds if not a couple thousand years.😊
That's my headcanon, like it's from the ages of heros
The ice dragon sounds like the alpha from how to train your dragon 2
Ice Dragons are why Targaryen Dragons won't go north of The Wall
I’m glad that you brought up wyvern‘s because as far as I’m tracking, I though wyverns were identify by having 2 wings and 2 legs while dragons have 2 wings 4 legs.
Yes n no a wyvern is jus a sub species of dragons
Sailers have said that ice dragons attack ships in the shivering sea
i would love to see them in winds of wonter
I would love to see winds of winter
I would love to see GRRM live to 120
@@fh120the seventh book would still not be finished
At this point I would love to just see the book released
A.I will most likely finish the book before George will which is why he’s getting in on the current lawsuit
I dont even watch or read the show, but dont pin GoldFishy999
That’s awesome. First time knowing about this I’m loving the lore of the dragons and serpents. I get caught up watching these reels they are so informative on lore.
I will love to see all the types of dragon in game of thrones and house of dragon show
I read an amazing ASOIAF fanfiction,Jon Snow bonded with an ice dragon, waking it from centuries old sleep hiding in the depth of snowy mountains far north beyond the land ( with drop of his Targaryen blood as he lay dying) 😂
Do you know what the word "implies" means?
House Velaryon needs a Sea Dragon
no.. they from valarya. they will ride fire dragons.. and they like exploring
i’m sure they never seen one
because lord corlys never mentioned it
@JuniorJuni070 i know what they will and will not do
Im just stating something i would like to see
You just said The Song of Ice and Fire ☠️
That’s what the book is called idiot
Universe ?
These a novel written by GRRM and ice dragons are part of it. The main character’s name is Lianna? Lyanna? Either way it’s the same name given to Ned’s sister in A Game of Thrones
Ice dragons are the coolsest
coolsest?
@@KerrieOhanlon123 yes, the coolsest.
🚨 SPOILER! The Gray king used the "bones" of the hull of a massive ship named 'Sea Dragon', not an actual sea dragon to build his hall, though sea dragons do exist. This is something many miss on their first read, including myself, so don't feel bad.
i would love to see them in winds of winter can i get pinned
Wait, there are Leviathans and krakens in ASOIAF? If the Nymeria series ever gets made, they better show us some epic Leviathan action!
The show doesn't imply, the white walker literally resurrected a dragon
Explain dragon keepers plz plz plz plz plz plz 🙏😭🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I'd also like this

Quite funny how the wall which was literally made to prevent the passing and is impervious to magical beings got destroyed by a magical being in the show
There is an icedragon seen in GoT, the wall itself. From eastwatch to castle black the wall is straight, from castle black to the shadowtower is squiggles like a serpent. Or in this case an icedragon (or 3). Why usev2 different building styles on the same mega structure.
People say the wall is alive, and yes it is very much so
Now we take the horn of winter, this mythical horn that can make the wall disappear. And the horn of dragons that can wake dragons from deep sleep and bow them to your will.
And this secret is kept by non other than the starks of winterfell, there must always be a stark in winterfell and at the wall. 1 to keep the dragon eggs in the crypts safe and one to guard the dragons at the wall
Lets assume that the theory is right, blowing the horns would mean the dragons awoke and the wall would fall….its gonna be amazing
Something tells me instead of the undead dragon the books will have an ice dragon given they're also said to be larger than valyrian ones
Clowning time: The series took a lot of shortcuts, right? BUT the books kinda foreshadow ice dragons beyond the wall a little. My theory is that the dragon battle against the night king will have the three remaining blood of the dragon (Dany, Jon, Griff) vs the night king and ice dragons and not a zombie Viserion, I think Viserion will be alive and well, and claimed by Griff. Since GoT cut both Griff and a lot of the magic of the Night King, I think the zombie Viserion was some sort of make up for that battle, but books will differ wildly. And if Dany truly is to go mad (I still think Cersei will be the Mad Queen) Having her children (Rhaegal and Viserion) claimed by others and then having to fight then in a Dance of Dragons 2.0 would be a far better reason, because all she wants are children and she considers the drahons her children and now she would have to lose even them.
GRRM actually used that concept of an ice dragon in his (kinda) childrens book "The Ice Dragon", where a girl befriends such a beast.
I don't remember anything about actual sightings of ice dragons. I mean I've read plenty of eyewitness accounts on crazy shit that's not around anymore but I honestly don't remember reading any eyewitness accounts of ice dragons.
There's no way the dragons will be able to be resurrected by the Others. One they can't be in the same place. Dragons CANNOT go North of the wall and Others and others/wights CANNOT go South of the wall, unless a brother of the Watch brings them in willingly. That's why the others planted the dead nights watch where Ghost could find them. They killed them then moved them into position.
Also they say Dragons are not Slaves like a trillion times. I always took that as, dragons can't be under anyone's control. It's more like a choice they make to be ridden. But they won't answer for the Others. Plus there are Ice dragons already, and the Others probably can't do shit with fire or anything related to it.
So dumb that in the show they made the "dragons" wyverns...for once I'd just like fantasy shows to use them properly.
It would be cool to see a scene where the white walkers make it to kings landing and using an amalgamation of dragon parts, bones from the pits from beast like meraxes, vhagar, and the main head balerion. Little bit wild but cool!
The undead dragon in the show is an attempt to add ice dragons to the story.
We likely will see dragons on the side of the Others, but it will be ice dragons, not randomly resurrected ones, most likely.
After watching your videos for over a month, I now expect the term "clapping cheeks" to be used😂 in every video. I was wondering how are you going to use the term in this video, since it's all about dragons. I am disappointed:)
I like when there are similarities between ASOIAF and Elden ring lore, it’s cool to see inside George’s head!
Dawg but they are all wyverns tho every "Dragon" in game of thrones is a wyvern I'm tired of people saying that they are dragons dragons have two wings and four legs wyverns have two wings and two back legs and just because a wyvern cane breath fire doesn't mean it's a dragon it's still a wyvern
We need a movie that showcase more of the dragons and battles with the good fighters and wars they reference than the political focus shows.
But how about their stories? Are we know like the ones in shows?
I mean its kinda up in the air if ice dragons are even a thing or just an analogy for blizzards/ ice storms.
I want thos stoy after house of dragons because I wanna see all the monsters, mythical, and abominations they created
#STOPGREENSCREENKIDS
Goldfishy999 is like fishy on me fishy on me fishy on me
We had for our year 5 assignment read and right a sequel to the ice dragon.
Then i went into the lore of got.
Then my.childhood was over
Where were they during Game of Thrones battle then😂😂😂😂
wish we could seen more of creatures in some stories outside of just political wars

"it's yet to happen in the books" haha nothing is ever gonna happen in the books again.
Though it hasn't happened yet? Have you watched the show?

Fire worms 🪱 in Valeria too said to be dragons 🐉 with no wings ,
Caraxes , Vhagar , Meleys and Sunfyre ❤️💚🩷💛
May be the ice wall in the north made by ice dragons😮🥶
All these images are wyverns, real dragons have 6 limbs
No one talks about the toilet dragons
The dragons in got are wyverns lol
They are all wyverns.. dragons have 4 legs and their wings are separate
Uh-huh, and who decided that?
What about the burninator type?
It would have been awesome if jon got an ice dragon during game of thrones😋
The wall is the ice dragon
Imagine if, because the dragoms we have seen brearh fire, and are thus tamed by House Targaryen with theiir fire symbolism. What if, the ice dragons are able to be tamed by house stark because of the Ice symbolism
Still pales in front of Ancalagon the Black
Didnt mention the FireWyrm
