The very late 90’s to the mid 2000’s was the best era of Christian music. Glad I got to spend my twenties listening and going to these concerts. Small Town poets, skillet, TBG, Phil Joel, Audio Adrenaline(I love Underdog), Superchick, Larue, and many others.
@@jonayers8382 Chuck died in 2013 and that church went to hell and most followed it. Chuck Smith was blessed. Those who followed were worldly and greedy and not of the Lord. So, it is what it is.

i was walking down the street during a city festival when i was...idk like 10, and this person stopped me and gave me a disc with different songs on it, this was the song on it that i listened to over and over - i'm actually not christian but here in 2022 i still think about this song and give it a few replays
I remember, my mom had the WOW dvd with this song on it. Growing up in a household with metal music, it was odd to me when my parents started playing christian music. But Honestly, Benjamin gate, dctalk and many more give me comfort these days alongside the symphonic and black metal I also indulge in. My heart is God's, even if I need listen to music most Christian people disagree with 😳🥰
I grew up with that VHS and I was always rewinding it to this song. I drove my family crazy lol youth group and Christian concerts are my favorite memories growing up. I came across this song after not hearing it in over 10 years made memories come flooding back and I am in such a beautiful place in my mind reliving her concert with audio adrenaline and DC talk 🖤 life was so much simpler then
I was a christian, I'm a full on homosexual hated by christians and I still love this song. The musical arrangements, the way she sings, it all just fits really well.
Jeremy didn't make her leave her band! Don't blame him for God bringing the two of them together! My daughter was a big fan of Benjamin Gate, but never got mad or blamed Jeremy for it! Be an adult, be reasonable.
The Benjamin Gate was the first band I saw in concert with Earthsuit. I bought the album and would sit with my CD player and listen to them every day! Great times!
I've listened to TBG because of my mom. I first saw this video on a DVD that we with a bunch of CCM Artists. It had Rebecca St. James' Reborn,Steven Curtis Chapman with Live Out Loud, The Newsboys with It Is You, Relient K's Pressing On, The OC Supertones' Wilderness. Along with a bunch of different Artists. With this song in particular when I first heard it for the first time I fell in love with this band. Unfortunately for me it was already too late. We still however our TBG CD with us still. I never did get to see them in concert. But with the CD and UA-cam, I can still enjoy the music and art and what this band had to offer. I love this song so much. We love you The Benjamin Gate. Your inspiring story and your amazing music has affected me in a great way. This is something that we can all remenessing for the rest of lives!!! We Love you TBG!!! GOD BLESS!!!!!
Pretty sure that was The Video Hits dvd. I got mine in 2002 (I think). It had all of those artists on there and I think came free with a purchase from our local Christian bookstore (it’s now a vape shop). I still have the DVD. It’s scratched but the Blue Ray player still accommodates it pretty good. Just found it a year or so ago and the nostalgia is insane.
This is not just another comment, thank you Benjamin Gate for creating this song, it has a special annointing, I remember this song from my early 20s and came across it by accident, I was jamming it and then I felt God's presence in a beautiful way. I haven't felt God presence in a long time, please continue to make music God's annointing, I will say a prayer that you do
She will forever be a bad ass rock chick to me. I really was inspired by her and and her style. Unlike other Christian women who would sing back then that were singers she was edgy, she had short spike hair, dressed so unique and has a voice of a angel. Not even being Christian anymore it doesn't matter. This brings me back to more simple times. In my teens. It brings back this nostalgia i can't describe. Love them forever! 💕 maybe someday she will return to her roots! So many that were blessed enough to her them it's like they really stood out. So cool!
Other Christian rock bands/artists that are fronted by women and have amazing sounds are Flyleaf, Miss Angie, Superchick, Zahna, GFM band, & Mourning Eve. Just putting these here for any other rock lovers 🤟🏼🖤✝️
For sure. Because they were so unique and passionate, they could have gotten very far, indeed. God's message can travel much further when it is authentic. Every person truly knows what that feels like when they experience it.
Such is the nature of women, thinking their husbands need 'educating' from the woman. In this case the "Veda's" of the ancient Aryans has it right. "From the corruption of women comes the downfall of civilization.
From a musical standpoint, this comment is on point. Saw Benjamin gate live twice and they are flawless live unlike a bad majority of artists out there. Some of what Jeremy Camp put out comes across trite at times.
I try to forget about this gate and resting up on the shoulders of the Lord. I try to forget about the fall. Yes Benjamin must break if we're to escape the prison and go home. ❤ Focus on the light, when the day comes look into my eyes!
I could not remember the name of this band until now!! Was watching a Jeremy camp video and he talked about his wife who was in the Benjamin gate! Here it is!! Yay!!
great song from a great band, iv got 2 CDs by TBG and theres not a bad song on either of them, not that this is relelvant to my appreciation of their music but i am an atheist and really enjoy christian music when its focused on a certain message and style and not judgey or indroctrination, Adie has such a beautiful and pleasant voice
Listening to and watching this makes me want to cry. The late 90's-early 00's had such an incredible stable of original Christian artists. Then everything went screamo, then it died.
We got to see them on the big stage at a Festival Con Dios. Then a year or two later I got to see them again at little church in Medford, Or. I was in the front row and could literally reach across to the band. Such happy, loving, peaceful times. They were mind blowing good.
lol I got to meat her while she was here in missoula. she opened for Pillar met them and East West. all amazing and Adie is the most humble person. you can see christ glowing in her eyes!
not only had he not met her, but his first wife was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and died in 2001 less than 5 months after they were married!!! thats a hard life...

Yep, I miss those days as well. I would love to hear the originality back again someday! All the bands/artists these days sound the same just about.
Benjamin Gate, Earthsuit, Chasing Furies, DC Talk...

LOVE this song still today (2024)!

Loved Earthsuite and as a middle school teacher I played their music in my class. The kids loved it (especially One Time).
