You mean the huskarls wave that decided to run away for some reason? :D Did not know that hahahaha But I guess preventing the destruction on deathless would be a lot harder if I can't use the starting frost giants (because of the traitor god power)
@@AmonsChallenges pretty sure you can also use your starting units to kill all of their units, if you go right away they are all at a side of the map and you can kill them off before they produce a town center. (This is a bit difficult but doable). If you do it they won't have any builders left and can't do shit, so it's just the titan to deal with.
I like to imagine Gaia isn't pissed that Kronos is killing humanity and fighting the gods, but instead is mad that he is killing all her garden. (Earth). He murdered one to many plants and she is pissed.
Considering how the Gaia myth goes, she's probably wanting her buttplug back... Or was that Oranos who was pushed into the bowels? Either way, I think one should be wary...

I wish you the best for your channel and look forward to the 40k content (Xenos genocide for the EMPERAAAAH)
I'm glad you're enjoying my videos! My plan is to make a 40k deathless video and after that I'm going to do make a different little run just to switch things up. BUT after that my plan is making a major series of a single challenge run type which has never been attempted and it's going to be done for all StarCraft 1, StarCraft 2 and WarCraft 3 campaigns (maybe not one after another, though). It's going to be exactly as painful as deathless, but with less constant saving and loading. So don't worry, there are going to be many war crimes written in our future!
23:24 - When I played this mission in Retold, I got my asse whooped by the enemy really hard. So I also figured out I can use trees to block the path, since I did that few times before in Skirmishes. I used two times trees on the two openings to the right where you put a wall. And then I went north and used the trees there too. But not before I sent my heroes and one Behemoth there. The idea was that I want to build my economy and army undisturbed, while my heroes will harass the enemy. And they ended up being super effective on that. I destroyed their entire base with just heroes and one Behemoth. First I baited myth units and killed them. Then I baited regular units and killed them. It was very close few times, but I also had the Behemoth to tank the damage, and it regenerated health. I realized I should have also sent at least one worker there before blocked the entrance with trees. But since I had the Traitor god power, I stole one of theirs. I built some towers and fortresses, as well as the economic building for lush to help with healing. During this whole time, I commanded Amanra to commit war crimes against the enemy workers every time she got the chance. Her initial attack after the jump deals massive damage, and she deals area of effect damage too in Retold. And enemy usually stacks his workers. So after she killed what feels like 80 workers... something that I didn't even plan happen, and the enemy AI shut down. Well, they probably ran out of resources. So then I sent my Behemoth to kill their town center, and it was over. I think it would be harder to pull this off on Titan, especially since when those Prometheans can't go through the southern pass to harass my base, they go north to join the enemy base and attack my heroes. Maybe they would be too much to deal with on Titan. But there is still one charge of Gaia's Forrest left. And I think that there is also a small pass that can be blocked, in case those Prometheans would be a problem. I didn't know I can heal the land using economic guilds instead of Town Centers... But is it really true you can do that? Because you said that downing the Titan took very long. But after you build two or three Town centers, the Titan drops his health dramatically. He's left with like 800 health or even less. Maybe you should have built real Town Centers and he would go down in health too.
First of all, I'm so happy about the war crimes :D Also, I think the titan in the original doesn't drop to very low health, that's just a Retold thing. Also, if you've seen my playthrough of this level on my second channel, you can see that I used economc guilds to heal the land here as well so I'm pretty sure they just let him have a lot less health in Retold.
4:20 i know how hard that mission is at titan difficulty. They i beat it was to build a dock and some ships and go away to islands separated from the main land. There is some spots where you can hide and through the different resources on the islands you can easily harass the enemy with ships and then land a big army.
Honestly I always liked the prospect of hiding on an island and building up a force there where they can't touch you. Unfortunately there's only like 2 or 3 missions in the campaign where you can actually do that :(
Lvl 7 is totally cheeseable as you can send all your units to kastor immediately and the enemies literally can't reach you. Level 8 is also doable by sending the son of Osiris to the little island off to the side (where the three relics are). Then use a ton of Phoenix's to kill the titan (since it can't touch them) note set the son of Osiris to passive else he will keep getting himself killed.
Would have loved to try and send all units to Kastor, that actually really makese sense now that I think about it hahahah But that mission is dumb anyway xD
Level 8 is also cheeseable by sending everything to your ally's village and get them to defend you whilst you build up six million priests - you don't even need to wake the guardian
21:50 - I cheesed this mission somehow organically. I saw your tier list video on heroes, and you said that Folstag takes almost no damage from the Titan, and can freeze him. That made me think: In a level where I need to defend and make sure not all villages are destroyed, you give me a hero who takes almost no damage from the Titan, and can periodically freeze him? Why not lock him out completely for the entire duration of waiting for the dragon? Well, the enemy has a base, that's why... But wait, I have a starting force, and a lot of heroes... and their base is very small and weak. So I rallied everyone I had on the start of the level, and went straight for the enemy. Folstag baited the Titan away, and kept freezing him. Rest of my force destroyed the enemy. And then I discovered, there is a Fountain of life in the enemy base, so I didn't even need to cast mine. So I just baited the Titan towards it, and kept attacking him with my starting heroes. I needed to keep sending them further away so they wouldn't die to a Titan, and would regenerate plus healed by the Fountain, but over time as I kept researching Armory upgrades, it was less and less necessary. I got surprised because one time, some kind of event triggered, and enemy spawned a force out of thin air on top of my guys. But luckily, I managed to clean them up. And it happened only once. And because I got tired of waiting, I produced an army of Godi, and downed the Titan way before the timer was up. They do less damage than Hersir, but Titan will not touch them, and you can fit way more of them around him. But if you don't play Retold, you don't have those. So Hersir are also a good choice.
I played the Retold version on Hard difficulty, and this level at 10:44 was the only hard one. You start in Herioc age without the ability to age up, and you are against 4 players (who have only 3 bases). And no matter which player I decided to attack first, or if I decided to defend, I couldn't. They always overwhelmed me. Then, I won by accidentally abusing the AI. I intermediately heroized all my starting force, built a transport ship, and sent them all with Kastor to the base on the left. When I arrived, a worker was already building a dock. I killed the dock (I think the worker escaped), and then I destroyed the southern gate guarding the relic. I didn't attack the northern gate which was closer to my landing, because there was Migdol there, and I didn't want to get unnecessary damage. They were two Scorpion men inside, but they did nothing against bunch of heroes. Then I returned with the relic, and got Earthquake. The "cheese" part was that after I returned, I noticed that for some reason, the enemy player with the base I stole the relic from got basically deactivated. He got so depressed after either losing the relic, getting 2 Scorpion men killed, or most likely, having his dock destroyed, that he refused to do almost anything after that. And that alleviated enough pressure from me that I could proceed normally. When the player on the right got into Mythic age, the player on the left finally got into Classical age. But didn't do anything after that anyway. The player on the right was still a huge threat, because he started with more buildings, had bigger army and economy... but I manage to bait some of his units out and kill them in choke points, and then waltzed in and used Earthquake and Tornado. After that, there was only one player left, and I was already stronger. Originally, I didn't realize that the enemy AI in campaigns basically never rebuilds lost buildings, no matter how much time and resources they have. After realizing that, devising a strategy to win is much easier.
Tip for level 7. Don't build walls everywhere. Build one wall that is just a tight space they have to force themselves through. Kinda of like tower defense. They'll ignore every other wall section
I'm so happy to finally see this video out. I loved these games as a kid and to see you making your videos on them just filled me with nostalgia. Keep up the hard work brother 🫰🏾

for mission 3, I just followed the patrols to take back the resource buildings x) the one from the north west camp is the safer one, they dont reclaim it
Agreed. But since I'm playing deathless, resources aren't really my biggest issue. Once I build a unit, it has to stay alive. The sheer force of the enemy attackwaves were the real problem for me.
@@AmonsChallenges sure, and the titan campaign IS truly hard with this :3 your handle of the second mission was mindblowing for me haha, very clever. Always done it the hard way caveman style x)
What new cultures would you want in the remastered. Personally I’d like a Celtic faction that uses human sacrifices for favour with druids, something to do with stone circles too.
I’ve never played AOM on titan difficulty before, i know Krois gives you fire siphons in the first mission on easy/normal mode (which honestly doesn’t make sense, you should get those on hard/titan difficulty) and yes, the mission where you have to rescue kastor using the rocs is very poorly designed. I think the early missions of the titans campaign are my favourite ones, though i never noticed the plenty vaults in the second mission were less efficient than regular ones. As for the last mission with Kronos, i usually just station a group of hero archers round the pit and jut hammer him when he opens the gate, so he doesn’t leave the pit. Hopefully retold has some better level design. And it’s a shame they’ve turned Gaia into Groot’s mom in Retold.
I will definitely do for AoM Retold and that depends on how much (or if) they change up the campaign. If they don't do that then I will do a different kind of challenge run for Retold, but you can definitely expect something.
Definitely in the queue for a future run, but I'm gonna try and steer away from deathless runs for a while to take a break (and so my challenge runs don't get to stale)
I'll see if they at least moderately switch up the campaign. I don't want to play the same challenge with different graphics. But if they don't switch it up, I have a very special challenge in store as an alternative. Definitely gonna do SOME KIND of Retold challenge run, don't worry.
Can you please do a Chinese campaign, it is funny how terrible it is and there is one level where there is just a battlefield in the middle of the map, so curious to see how would you do that on titan deathless.
You know what, even though I said I wasn't going to do it, I'm warming up to this idea more and more. Mostly because people on UA-cam like watching people suffer hahahah I have a couple of challenges in the queue right now, but I would be willing to give it a try after that just to see if it's possible.
I'm not sure if that was a bug or it was intended, but I went north and to the site that has an underworld passage when you come next to it (the one behind 5 stone archers) and I moved my units where the underworld passage was supposed to come up, but since it had no space (because of my troops), they just awarded my with the power so I could place it anywhere.
@@Achilles75 It literally didn't happen to me in the official attempt, but when I recorded some additional footage for this video... So I can't really tell you to watch my full level commentary video with it, but the footage of it does exist on my hard drive :D The 5 sentinels that I'm talking about are like in the middle of the map, southwest of the enemy main base. The underworld passage that is surrounded by a fence leads to the one I'm talking about.
@@AmonsChallenges see the thing is usually when ur troops even get near the area, actually it's even more that. When the area comes within their LOs itself the underworld passage opens up that's why I'm a bit confused how to pull it off
Thankfully, the Necrons are all obedient and they don't need to be shot by the friendly nearby officer hahahha But yeah, the footage is done, I just have to edit the video and unfortunately that bit does take a while. It's about 2-3 days of playing and 2-3 weeks of editing :(
@@AmonsChallenges I am not the best when it comes to wh40k lore, but I think most of the time necrons do not even die or get destroyed, they merely take critical damage and get teleported back, so technically you cannot fail that challenge! 2-3 days of playing does not sound that bad, but man 2-3 weeks of editing?! You sure are dedicated and/or have nerves of steel...
@@clone3_7 I am dedicated, I do have nerves of steel... But I also have a dayjob which kinda takes a lot of my time and energy. If I could only make UA-cam videos, I think I could make them a lot more often. I managed to make the Norse campaign video in about 10 days and that was while I took a couple of vacation days so I definitely think I can make videos in a tempo that is a lot faster than 2-3 weeks hahaha
You should play the GLA campaign in Generals if you like war crimes this much. If you dont know this game, look up Generals GLA mission 2:ua-cam.com/video/r8C9DqqAwiQ/v-deo.html
If you are talking about mission 7, he tried, but I think the huge mass of walls kinda messed with its pathing so he traveled to the other part of the map, which basically took him more time than was left on the clock

Aww, no Chinese Campaign deathless? I've never played that expansion at all but I keep hearing it's terrible. Although reports are mixed in how terrible it is like "The faction itself is broken and overpowered!" and "The campaign isn't very well designed!" which made me assume that it was easy to cheese or something. Not that it was literally broken and couldn't be won without patches?
The faction itself is relatively strong, but they've put exactly 0 effort into the campaign, so why should I put any effort into beating it deathless then? I have barely forced myself to beat it regularly and I can honestly tell you it really sucks. There is a reason why they call this faction "The one that shall not be named" 🙃

Agree that the new Gaia is bad, but they still have time to switch it up (at least a bit), nothing is set in stone yet
Didnt see the video yet : but holy hell am i waiting for cerberus
And Cerberus and all the horrible stuff that accompany it are waiting for you :D
On Cerberus I abandon my base immediately and hold out in my friends base
I rarely hear somebody say: "On Cerberus, I play the level as intended" hahahah
Lol your jokes are always on point 😂😂 im ded
You sound like a fantasy creature. Keep it up
hahahaha thx, will do :)
level 7 I always ahndycap myself by setting the rule of limited wall placement. Then the priests have to actually fight to survive
Love it! But since you play Egypt you can get around this rule by placing free buildings like armories to act as walls instead.
You dropped this king 👑
Appreciate it! 😊
well played man
Appreciate it :)
Will you be doing these videos for the AOM Retold? I would definitely watch it.
I will definitely do for AoM Retold and that depends on how much (or if) they change up the campaign. If they don't do that then I will do a different kind of challenge run for Retold, but you can definitely expect something.
Here we go!!
7:54 how did you go from 175 population to 275? Is there a mechanic I'm missing?
I built 5 manors, each gives 20 supply
So that's Hell ? at least a few war crimes were committed to cool it down 😁
I really don't know how I would have survived this without the slaughtering of innocent civilians to keep me going 😅
that cheese on 2...
Desperate times call for despeare measures hahahah
What about etri campaign? Or reginleifs solo level? First level of the Chinese campaign is literal hell
I wanna make a video about something that is longer than a few levels, plus if I remember correctly, the Eitri campaign is very poorly balanced
@@AmonsChallenges fair enough . Yeah the last Two levels of the dwarven campaign are insane
Deathless run of the Chinese campaign?
Definitely in the queue for a future run, but I'm gonna try and steer away from deathless runs for a while to take a break (and so my challenge runs don't get to stale)
league of legends iron to grandmaster deathless challenge
AFK jungle to grandmaster speedrun :D
are you going to play retold deathless?
I'll see if they at least moderately switch up the campaign. I don't want to play the same challenge with different graphics. But if they don't switch it up, I have a very special challenge in store as an alternative. Definitely gonna do SOME KIND of Retold challenge run, don't worry.
Can you please do a Chinese campaign, it is funny how terrible it is and there is one level where there is just a battlefield in the middle of the map, so curious to see how would you do that on titan deathless.
You know what, even though I said I wasn't going to do it, I'm warming up to this idea more and more. Mostly because people on UA-cam like watching people suffer hahahah
I have a couple of challenges in the queue right now, but I would be willing to give it a try after that just to see if it's possible.
FINALLY!!!!🎉
How did u get the underworld god power in 'greetings from greece'
I'm not sure if that was a bug or it was intended, but I went north and to the site that has an underworld passage when you come next to it (the one behind 5 stone archers) and I moved my units where the underworld passage was supposed to come up, but since it had no space (because of my troops), they just awarded my with the power so I could place it anywhere.
@@AmonsChallenges ohhh that has never happened to me and I think I have played this particular level like 30 or 40 times at the very least.
Lemme check it out. When u say the underworld passage behind the 5 sentinels , do u mean the one in the caves with polyphemus?
@@Achilles75 It literally didn't happen to me in the official attempt, but when I recorded some additional footage for this video... So I can't really tell you to watch my full level commentary video with it, but the footage of it does exist on my hard drive :D
The 5 sentinels that I'm talking about are like in the middle of the map, southwest of the enemy main base. The underworld passage that is surrounded by a fence leads to the one I'm talking about.
@@AmonsChallenges see the thing is usually when ur troops even get near the area, actually it's even more that. When the area comes within their LOs itself the underworld passage opens up that's why I'm a bit confused how to pull it off
So you are doing a dawn of war deathless campaign? Man you gonna have a hard time arguing with the commisar on your tactics!
Thankfully, the Necrons are all obedient and they don't need to be shot by the friendly nearby officer hahahha
But yeah, the footage is done, I just have to edit the video and unfortunately that bit does take a while.
@@AmonsChallenges I wish and hope one day you'll grow large enough, that you will be able to live off doing what you like!
@@clone3_7 Thx man, appreciate it
And I hope that as well :D
You should play the GLA campaign in Generals if you like war crimes this much. If you dont know this game, look up Generals GLA mission 2:ua-cam.com/video/r8C9DqqAwiQ/v-deo.html
Oh don't I know it hahahaha
One of the most iconic games ever!
Sure would feel like a fun run to do at some point...
Hype!!
Melth?
I did mine long before he did his challenge. You should actually go into his comment section and write "Amon?" :D
doesn't the titan atack after a few period?
If you are talking about mission 7, he tried, but I think the huge mass of walls kinda messed with its pathing so he traveled to the other part of the map, which basically took him more time than was left on the clock
@@AmonsChallenges NO level 8 at a certain amount of time the titan will atack. I thought it was because you didn't put son of osiris resurecting the guardian because it usally happens when the guardian is almost awaken... The titans comes at you so you have to use the guardian to beat him.
but with you it just sits at the base to and do nothing even after you got the guardian . Lke you said they stopped atacking at a certain point why i don't know
@@kingpietro1279 ohhhh, I think this was because the titan was stuck on that clump of units in their base hahahaha
@@AmonsChallenges lolz. could be possible yeah
I don't even blame you for ignoring the Chinese campaign in AoM. It is absolutely terrible.
@@AmonsChallenges
Fair enough then...
I also heard that someone tried taking those gods and replacing them with Aztec ones. Dunno the status of that project but I would love to see Age Of Mythology Retold include stuff like the Aztecs, Babylonians... maybe the Celts? :D
no
this is very twest aoe2 pacifist camapgisn
