- Good afternoon UA-cam & the PlayStation 4 Homebrew/Modding Community! If you guys have been keeping up with the PS4 scene for the last few weeks there have been many rumors/buzz regarding a new jailbreak exploit for firmware 9.00. As of 12/13/2021, it seems like the PS4 scene has received an early Christmas present as trusted developers - SpectreDev/Chendo-Chap have officially released a filesystem bug kernel exploit implementation for firmware 9.00”p00Bs4”. What makes this exploit unique is that instead of the typical payload being injected through your PlayStation 4’s web browser the end-user will need a USB drive that has a modified exFAT filesystem, which in turn allows you to run arbitrary code as kernel. In this video, I'll be covering everything you need to know on how to successfully mod your PlayStation 4 Console on firmware 9.00. Additionally, we will be covering a multitude of topics, and I will do my best to go over each process to ensure that you'll have an easy understanding of how to fully jailbreak your console by utilizing Al Azif Exploit Host + how to initialize the "GoldHEN v2.0" payload which allows you to enable debug settings.

Good afternoon UA-cam, sorry for dropping this video a little later in the day as I had some rendering issues! Regardless, I am excited to showcase a new PS4 Jailbreak Kernel Exploit codenamed "pOOBs4" for firmware 9.00 developed by Spectre-Dev & Chendo-Chap! Unlike the last previous exploits for the PS4 where a web browser was just needed, users will need an exFAT formatted USB to write a special .img file which allows for unsigned code, thus users can launch Homebrew applications & gain access to debug settings! Quick Tips:
• Once the jailbreak has initialized you can take out your USB device.
• If you had Al Azif already installed in your User Guide settings and you don't see the 9.00 tab, you can go into your PS4 Web Brower settings and clear your Cache & Cookies. Then relaunch the User guide which should fix this issue.

1. You cannot play online
2. Your PS4 can update by itself you will need to turn that off in settings
3. To not have HFW yes you will have to manually download it. (I think it sounds common sense I can be wrong tho)

Hey Jan, this is not a permanent jailbreak. You will need to always use the USB payload method to run HEN.
Hi ! How can I run MIRA on CFW 9.00, Im using Goldenhen 2.0b and the ORBIS Patch Updater requires MIRA to install?
If MIRA payload has been ported to 9.00 then yeah it should work out just fine.

9.03 is the latest firmware. 9.00 isn’t the latest thus you can’t access PSN.

I do all this steps , goldhen 2.0 and debug menu is activated , i download some little size pkgs for small games and i installed with usb on package instsaller section in debug menu then i go to main menu to start games but games give ps store lisence error then i download another little size games for us , asia and eu region and i install them like previous ones and everything go well and games are installed like others then i try the start different games and apps for different regions but every game and app give the same ps store lisence error !

Hey Berke, are the PKG's you installing are fake package files. I know real PKG files require actual licenses.

I'm still having trouble trying to get the 1 TB hard drive to update to the 9.0 just to function so I can get inside of it. I've already used one of those USB ports and downloaded from the PC or my laptop rather to the USB storage device and tried to do everything from update to defragging and restarting over, but I'm still having trouble with it. I don't know if it's because the hard drive was from a PS4 pro and I have a not the slim but the regular PS4. If anybody can help beyond the scope of this video, that would be awesome! Is your drive formatted to EXFat? If possible if you have another drive I would try converting to exfat and make sure your folder structure is as follows: PS4/UPDATE/PS4UPDAT.PUP

They will work just fine any game that is under 9.00 will work out the box.

Since this jailbreak is on a lower firmware, you can’t connect to PSN. Thus you can’t even play online.
