I need this as i'm only using 432 hz instead of 440 hz . I own a poly tune and i'm not happy i cannot calibrate it ... I've done some research and i'm gonna trade the poly tune and go for the strobostomp.. Not a bad review on youtube ... it seems the creme de la creme as far as tuner .. i need a true by pass gadget i can calibrate manually and this one can do that
It's a great pedal, and the support service from Peterson's webpage is efficient, friendly and on time. I've been using it for both a guitar AND a trumpet with a jack to xlr cable and a Shure sm57, and it works great, no need for a DI box or preamp. I also created my own preset using the drop -2 feature to transpose the pitch from the B flat trumpet, and the concert pitch reference as 442 HZ, preferred by most proffesional orchestras.
Bought one and I'm disappointed: View angle is really important. From my usual playing position I cannot read the display at all. The font on the screen is insultingly bad... That 'B' gives me shivers.
Great review mate. Thank you very much. I've been looking at getting this pedal. I'm roughly the same age as you. I don't want to be negative or mean at all, so please don't take it that way, but the video was much easier to watch at the beginning when you weren't wearing glasses. Later, your glasses were reflecting quite a lot into the camera. I wear glasses too. And while I haven't put out any videos (so you're doing much better than me!) perhaps angle the camera/lighting slightly to the side so that your glasses don't reflect as much. But once again, thank you very much. Awesome review. Subscribed.
Cheers bobfig. You're right about the glasses. I always try to do videoa without them, but sometimes I need to put them on to check something, and then forget to take them off! Enjoy the glasses-free vids! 😂
The rroblem of this Tuner is the how to compare the Mismatch of four tones. For example if you adjust a Brdge of aGuitar, you play the string at 12Th fret, pen, and both sides of the string pressed at 12 and 13th fret. Most Tuners are in this situation not able to tell how many cent the last mentioned two tones from the both sides of the string are differs to the optimum. the Boss TU3 will do it, but extrem flickery. the old Korg 0t120 do it best.
I bought the waza tuner instead, built like a tank and I wanted something that simply gets the job done and will live a long time! A long list of top guitar players use the TU-3, I went with that :)

This is an actual review of the product. Great video. Thank you sir.
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

It is a great pedal. I would never have thought of using it for a trumpet though, not that I've got one! Hmm, I might try it on my kazoo!
Joe Perry of Aerosmith showed me this pedal. It's good enough for him to stay in tune. it is amazing.
It's a great pedal. I'm just about to build a new pedalboard, and the Peterson will be going back on!
The answer is yes
I agree. 👍
Best pedal tuner on the market and pretty simple to use.
Peterson also makes the best head stock tuner on the market.
I'll have to have a look at their headstock tuner. Cheers.

Interesting - I've had no problems. Watch out for my 'year of use' review.
YES!!!!
I agree! 👍
Yes! But be careful...the screen breaks easily.
Thanks for that . Mine is okay so far. 😁

Yeah, there are loads out there, but this is one of the ones I went for.
Thank you for a simple, straight to the point video. Much appreciated!
You're welcome. Thank you.
