@@BugattiONE666 The Black Series still has that lunacy. Less insulation, stiffer suspension, insane amounts of aero and mechanical grip. Even removes the rear wheel steering to give more raw feeling. Yes the flatplane doesn’t sound as good as the crossplane but it’s decent inside the cabin and anyone who thinks this isn’t extreme clearly never been in one. The difference between GTR and GT Black is like the difference between GT3RS and GT2RS MR.

AMGS are supposed to be the OLD CL63 Black, the SLS Black, going back to the E55 AMG, they are NOT supposed to nimble or agile, theyre suppsed to attack any problem with nothing but shear brute force. If it can be suprised as a "track car" then im sorry buts its failed the AMG badge
@@BugattiONE666 Umm sir, everything I mentioned it does have, not sure if you need to rewatch a review on the car. Stop holding AMG to that standard, its not fair for them especially when you compare with the likes of Porsche and BMW. Times have changed and AMG’s deserve to be nimble and agile while maintaining the brute force which they already do. I don’t understand the hypocrisy when the AMG GTR retains all the lunacy while being agile. The recipe for a Black Series is turning them into the most extreme version it could be, hence why they all get stiffer, more aero, etc. Do you know about AMG’s?? Even cars like SLS Black or C63 Black were agile.

I have fun watching this with my dad ‘cause I used to work for Mercedes and I can actually say, “I’ve driven one of those.” And everything Jeremy said is accurate about this car. The childish noise, and the fact that the brakes make your face come off.

This guy has made reviewing a car a "Artform" I literary burst out laughing several times during this review. Say what you want about Clarckson but his a genius at his job.
The AMG GT R looks so amazing in green, one of my favourite looks on a car.

It ended a few years ago, they are posting very old clips 2018ish, they started doing 1 episode a year and now in February the last ever episode released. Jeremy Clarkson farm is a spin off that is confirmed to be renewed for a few more seasons at least

I think the 577 hp is because the racing GT series (which this car derives from) have this power limit set by the rules. Not that they can't fit in a 600+ hp engine. Every engine paired with transmission is different. 500 hp in one car isn't exactly the same as 500 hp in a total different type of car. And besides, power isn't everything. The car should be perfectly balanced the way it is.
Bingo…a renntech tune on this beast will get u 760hp…plus the manufacturer HP claims on these things is very conservative in reality the stock engine probably makes 80-100 more hp

The AMG GTR is the pinnacle of Mercedes design perfection and in my opinion the classiest car in the world followed by the Aston Martin DB9. Praying its still in stock at the dealerships.
I prefer the design of last gen gt and sls. They were just that little bit more elegant

AMG GT Black series has only the 2nd fastest time on Nurnburgring production cars. Porsche 911 GT Manthey holds the record. Just slightly, but still. But when this video was recorded Black Series was probably holding the #1 place. It's still #2 which is impressive.

I used to not really have an opinion on it, but the performance and numbers don't lie. The black series edition is right behind the GT2 RS in terms of lap times on everyone's favorite track to compare cars, the Nürburgring.

My favorite car, although the new SL has surprised me. I'm normally not into convertibles, etc, but it's sooo nice.
Well favorite tied with the LC500. Which is probably kinda weird considering the vast difference in performance.

LC is a type of car that is not a competitor to the SL. One is a modern GT and the other one is a classic GT.
Hahaha, car stylists are flamboyant and usually drunk, car engineers tend to be very sensible, you can tell that just by looking at their trousers. That's just spot on greatness

3000gt had it first. In 1991-93. Front air dam, four wheel drive, four wheel steering, electronic controlled suspension, speed controlled rear wing. Jeremy being the dinosaur he is, was there and reviewed it.

Well my hat off to Mercedes on this model , they got the Porsche 911 body shape , but with a huge bonus of having the engine in the correct place ( up front ) where it gets additional cooling to the cooling provided by it's radiator. Well done !!!

I drove one these in Las Vegas at Speed Vegas. What a blast! I truly admire and covet the AMG GT and SLS cars! But with these German over-engineered cars it's not whether you can afford to buy them, it's more as case of whether you can afford the upkeep on them.
