We are in 2023 and DOORS music is always at the Top. For my aesthetic tastes, no man has yet surpassed the beauty, magic and mystery that Jim Morrison released. Forever in my ❤️
My god, I wish Jim had sung more Blues. Very clever to sing Summertime and Fever with Light My Fire, because they're exactly the same blues chords. Thats why I've slways loved The Doors since I was a kid: they're all Bluesmen at heart. I love this SO much. Thank you for this. ❤️ 🇦🇺 🔥
They combined Summertime with Light my fire just because they felt like it. Sounds good! They used to improvise like this all the time live. That’s what made them exciting to see live. You never knew for sure what you would hear. And that’s what made them so great!! RIP Jim and Ray- I wonder if they are jamming together again
Lol! I just made a comment . Finding this in 2023 was like they released a new song! I have had it on repeat and just LOVE looking at these beautiful pictures of this beautiful heavenly soul 🦎💞🌞💜
The doors are the best!!! There will never be another band like them!! They need to find some of the old lost songs and remaster them. I would pay a ridiculous amount for it and I know a lot of other people would to!!
Храбрый, самоотверженный, но саморазрушительный артист ... музыка является свидетельством гениальности The Doors и ее влияния на популярную музыку ... RIP JM,,,RM🙏 ♥ ️
She is an Israeli like me and I think she is very wise. It was wonderful to hear someone explain things that my father taught me. Shalom. James, I love my heavenly father with all my heart and I want to do his will.
How I wish I could be there to see and fell it myself....live....but I wasn't even born yet....I'm a (blues) piano/organ player myself, and this baseline (Am / Bm) I still play every day :) Because I adore it, simply adore it....It's genius because it is not hard, but it has more emotion and feeling in it than any other song I have ever heard.
What did The Doors think when putting this together? Yo Dawgs, we heard you like music so we put a song and a song into a song so you can listen while you listen while you listen? This is awesome!
I finally get to here him sing St James - the last song he ever sang on stage (well, tried to sing but was out of his mind in New Orleans for their final show) Thank you for posting!
Am/Bm is quite basic aye ? That's exactly how the greatest songs are made. Easy simple lines with easy notes, but magically played. Just like most great (blues) songs, 2 or 3 accords are enough to give my ears and heart some good old loving....
@steelersrule79 yeah was good. I prefere the more bluesy sound of the doors. Dont get me wrong, love the earlier weirder stuff too its just doors of 70/71, morrison hotel/la woman era, when jims voice turned dead gravely and raw from whiskey and cigars. Fantastic, especially when your drunk
i haven't seen some of these pics yet, very cool...thanks! i also like hearing this extended version of Summertime, which was usually done as part of Light My Fire.
My fever forever, too sweet. These guys know who, and what moves them. So do I. Truth can't lie. And neither can I. The fever is one of the most beautiful songs . Can you tell me why? Shit, everything just rhymes when the Doors and Jim start banging...around in.????? I need to start doing drugs, but I am not sure which one I am best suited for. I guess its the ...one on the bottom shelf...hidden, tickpoppowdam, the Doors Yeah!!!
@steelersrule79 the song soft parade is a masterpiece, and love not to touch the earth too. if you like that you should hear the full version 'celebration of the lizard'. Its on the live album the doors live in madison squre garden jan 70, from the doors box set. Best live album i have ever heard

Real interesting concept in the midst of pandemic seems like a catchy tune everyone can apreciate
Awe Jim you float my boat love your voice love your looks there's no other group like the doors.

every body got the fever .......when you kiss me bby ...when you hold my time
This is more of a medley. This is on the third disk of the Boston show from 1970 and each song is listed separately. This is soo good.
so cool
love bass in this song
It sounds like light my fire
That's because it is Light My Fire. Fever and St. James Infirmary Blues placed inside LMF in the legendary live performance at Vancouver.
It is ' light my fire '. This is the extended middle section vamp.
isn't it the same for all The End? damn complete synergistic feeling between all four!!!
So hypnotic, so transcendent ....
Am/Bm is quite basic aye ? That's exactly how the greatest songs are made. Easy simple lines with easy notes, but magically played. Just like most great (blues) songs, 2 or 3 accords are enough to give my ears and heart some good old loving....
Wow hearing Manzarek's arpeggio to Light My Fire just brought '89 back. It was like I was listening to The Doors for the first time ever.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🖤I LOVE YOU JIM MORRISON!!!
Dude..this is the old standard 'Summertime'. Sweeet!
This is a cover of Fever and Summertime
Viva The Doors. Never gonna die, baby.
Fever at St. James infirmary lol. Of course that fragment is from Light my fire live somewhere in time. Cool Version anyway.
Sounds great! :)
Who wouldn't get the fever looking at James Douglas Morrison? He was cooler than the other side of the pillow......🙄
A good one.😉
When you’re down and feelin blue, just listen to this
enjoying the images with the music.
Jim Morrison was hot, beard no beard, shirt, no shirt
I utterly agree with you my friend
Love for the when the musics over riff

Morrison and all band members had so much talent. It is a shame Morrison was so brilliant yet so self destructive.
i haven't seen some of these pics yet, very cool...thanks! i also like hearing this extended version of Summertime, which was usually done as part of Light My Fire.
i loved the footage ..and the sound great
