I hope he doesnt get tired of singing this song. His voice is effortless but when you try singing it I sound like a dying goat.
He's worked hard at his voice and honed his technique. In fact, Ben really doesn't sing in full voice - it's disconnected and breathy, which is often against what vocal coaches teach. With the right help you can do it. 😁

This performance was genuinely the only reason why I watched Strictly last week. Loved and followed Ben since he was in the Pitch Perfect franchise!
Each time again, he’s amazing me, his voice is putting a spell on me, it touches my soul, on every right spot!
That’s the main goal. Been listening to the songs since they were released and that is Aprox 4 years ago... still can’t get enough of it.

Shame his mic was quiet initially but loved seeing Ben on Strictly. His vocal ability is stunningly powerful. I felt privileged to see him as Evan twice on Broadway and it was an unforgettable experience.

Such an incredible performance. This is a very powerful song that is purposefully quiet in parts so as to accentuate the stronger vocal in other areas. I heard and felt every single word. Ben Platt has an amazing voice. Awesome tonal quality and control. Bravo!!!
