A lot of people say Lin can not sing. I think he can. I love his voice. It’s so unique and I absolutely love it. He sings with so much emotion. You can really feel when he is singing, his lyric writing skill are phenomenal.
He's not a whailing pop singer with auto tune. He's a musical genius and an artist. People who don't understand the difference should stick to AI music and avoid having opinions on real musicians.

I know this is 5 yrs old, but I could listen to it several times a day & never tire of it. It is a beautiful song sung by two beautiful artists. One of my all time favorites..
I personally think Lin is a great singer, but even if he isn't, he just sings with passion in anything he does, and you can just feel every emotion and I think that makes up for some if any flaws in his singing
Tbh i love his voice so much it's very unique like his voice stands out so much. Loved his performance in the Vivo songs
Honestly I prefer voices like Lin, it's unique and it's nice to hear to the ear imo, he also tends to put in a lot of emotion as well which makes it better

I cried during his performance of "One More Song," and I was smiling so hard during "Keep The Beat."
Lin has a character voice - very theater esq- and per character voices they tend to be unique bc they hit all the notes while still sounding non pretentious nor the way we typically characterize “good” signing voices. Also as a side observation, in the Latino community there is a general acceptance and appreciation for voices that resonate the character of the person singing them, rather then the typical “good” voice sound. As a Puerto Rican I’m sure Lin has that imbedded in him as well.- something to think about ☺️

Nothing in Hamilton is more emotional than "It's Quiet Uptown" although "Burn" is close. "The Story of Tonight" barely registers.

''Burn'' and ''It's Quiet Uptown'' are very emotional because they are carrying a feeling of sadness, of despair, of anger and heartbreak. ''The Story of Tonight'' however carries a feeling of hope and unity, as well as desperation. The people in the song are ready to lay down their lives to help bring the change that they hope to see in the world. They rejoice in striving for the same hopeful goal and enjoying the feeling camaraderie between each of them, all while knowing that this may be the last time they ever feel that, they ever live that. They are enjoying this one moment before facing the unknown that they know could lead them to their death, hoping for it to at least have a meaning. That... is very emotional.
Wether or not it is the most emotional song in the musical is totally up to personal interpretation. But it complety registers as emotional.
I feel like a grandma saying this, but this was for the March for Our Lives in 2018. It was an extremely important movement for gun reform led by students who survived the deadliest school shooting the country has ever seen and included protests on most high school campuses and in most cities. That's why it's "when our children tell their stories." Students were standing up for their own right to safety.
