- I changed my plans at the last minute and took a spontaneous flight to Sri Lanka, I did not tell @worldnomac and @LukeDamant I was coming and surprised them all at their Airbnb Villa with @GoWithAli , we then went for a meal out with some friends and met @Davud_Akh, had an awesome first day and I'm excited to explore more of the country!

Friendships make places worth visiting. I guessed it would be Sri Lanka when you said change of plan. I have some close Sri Lankan friends. I have free accommodation waiting for me there but their government was very strict during Corona so I had to postpone it. It seems time is right to visit again.

I was in Pakistan the same time you and Mac were there and I loved watching you experience the same things I was experiencing. I’m back in the U.K. now, but this vlog is seriously giving me the travel bug again and reminding me of my backpacking year just hanging out in cool places and meeting great folks along the way.
