- I took a trip on the famous train to Ella, Sri Lanka with @worldnomac and @GoWithAli. We started the trip from nuwara eliya, and booked 1st class seats so that we give you an idea of what the different classes are like. The journey Ella takes around 4 hours and is often considered THE most scenic train journey in the world, I absolutely love train journeys so for me this was one of the highlights of the trip and I spent most the journey hanging out the side of the train!

Colorado going through the Rockie mountains is beautiful haven't been on the train but seen in other travel UA-camrs & drove a lot of the back roads that for a good portion are close to the train tracks... If ever come to Colorado would love to meet u in person & show u different things around Colorado/ Pueblo area is where I'm at we have a lot of good food here close to the mountains have a couple small museums. Only city to have 4 people to earn purple hearts... My nephews great great grandpa was one of them.

Colombo - Batticaloa. Colombo - Jaffna. Colombo- Ella. Colombo - Trincomalee are some of the best rail journeys in the country that takes you to some of the exotic destinations in the country. Journey alone may be worth it. Trains tickets are probably the cheapest in the world.

If you can go to the Dambethanna from Haputale it is one of the most scenic view in the world Enjoy Guys take care and be safe Good luck

Harry missed Ron’s dad’s flying car and finally reached to 09 arches by train.. Cheers✌️😄 There is a train from Mount Lavinia (close by Colombo) to Kankasanthurai (North side) Try that too..

To add some more information about the trains from Kandy to Badulla, there are several trains that you can take. All these trains have 1st, 2nd and 3rd class compartments that can be reserved early. You can make a reservation using the train station booking counter or via a mobile phone using the Mobitel/dialog network. Recently the've introduced online booking as well but not sure if that's fully operational yet.
Train 1 - departs from Kandy - 3:35 AM
Train 2 - departs from Kandy - 7:00 AM (Elle Odecee tourist train 1st and 2nd class only - limited stops + short stops at multiple attractions )
Train 3 - departs form Kandy - 8:46 AM (Podi manike express train from Colombo)
Train 4 - departs form Kandy - 11:03 AM (Udarata manike express train from Colombo)
Train 5 - departs from PERADENIYA (15 mins away from Kandy) - 12:30 PM (consisting of an Observation saloon at the end of the train - ideal for panoramic views)
You should go to haputhale and if possible few km from ella Lipton seat which has a breath taking view but check the road. And dont miss little adam s peak
