@@irinemartin5045 Glad to hear it............ Last week I sliced the dark green part about 1/2 '' and sauteed, cooked 1/4'' sliced carrots in water with a little sugar. Combine drained carrots w/leeks and saute till hot....amazing
I use the entire leek- cut the whole thing and pan fry with olive oil and butter for Jamie Oliver’s Beschemelle sauce used in his lasagna
Mmm so good! Leeks go wonderfully in casseroles. 🙌🏻
Same we have sooo many uses for the leaves. You can chop it up and add to stir fry dishes
