funny, i regularly talk in the chat and complain about the game and I've never even gotten a warning. also people who regularly call out "cheating" are generally just bad players who got outplayed and can't accept it, I'm level 100 probably twice over and I've encountered so few cheaters.

The people getting banned are getting banned because they're breaking forum rules including abusing mods and developers, I'm sure.
@@missingthe80s58 If you are playing any tanks around BR 8.3 or higher, which using APFSDS would suggest, then laser rangefinders and the recently added automatic vertical aim will mean very consistent hits at any range. Also, thermals are effective for spotting through bushes or even behind cover, as it makes engine exhaust visible. Getting scouted by a light tank will also make oneself visible to everyone on the enemy team.

If they wish to stick with statistics, they have to add in a variable to account for the players who play the plane, whether that’s the amount who play it and/or the skill of the players who play
They love statistics but are allergic to context. So far as admitting that the points people were making made a lot of sense but it didn't matter because it doesn't say so on the spreadsheet.
I wish they also considered play rate at least when doing BR changes. It would avoid situations like the CL-13 where a few players can move a vehicle up. If few players are playing a vehicle there is usually a reason, and it's only good/high skill players left using it

They lied and said that this would not be a game that has vehicles that extend past the Korean War. They lied and said certain vehicles would not go below or above certain BRs. They lied and said that they have a "complex way" of assigning BRs. It's largely based on gameplay performance and era of introduction. They lied and said that certain bugs on certain vehicles were fixed when they weren't, until they were fixed several patches later. Lied and said that bombers were going to benefit from economy changes when they didn't and actually made less money for several patches straight. Said that they were going to work on heli game modes (we see where that went). Did soft lies by giving certain vehicles armaments that they never had, or by not giving vehicles armaments and equipment that they really did have in real life, while introducing them as the complete historical vehicle on the Thunder Show and in patch notes(Mainly applies to aviation, but the army/tank players have these issues.) And much more. Actually why do I have to give you proof anyway? Stop simping for this company.

Oxy has stated that the reason the F13 and PFM are going down in BR is because they're hard to play, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's fine with the change.

They also said in the response that they aren't gonna lower the CL-13B's BR bcs of statistics. Great, a Sabre with only 2 AIM-9Bs is still fighting supersonics daily. It can't even catch the Harriers/AV-8s in a straight line & they have a much better missiles + flares + airspawn at the same BR. It literally feels like an uptier in every single match even when you're fully downtiered.
While I agree that it probably shouldnt be at that BR, I still manage a lot of kills in mine when I use it. Granted, this probably says more about farming idiots in premium f-5c/av-8/j35c/harrier gr1 than any ability of the aircraft, but ehh. Its a fairly decent experience to fly them still - at least till you get to the end of a game and get stuck in a 1v1 against someone competent.
The mistake is assumeing these BR changes are intended to make anything better. I think Gaijin exactly knows what they are doing. The earn more money, the more we suffer, cause ppl will throw GE at problems.
See they'll just add shitty vehicles here and there in a tree to make you GE past it, or make modules half the cost of a lower tier plane. These God awful changes are what kills players desire to actually play this dumpster fire game.
I've been playing warthunder since 2013 and I have all tanks and planes from all nations, but at this point I stopped playing top tier planes because I don't enjoy it. Before the radar missiles still played, but now it is impractical, we are killed without knowing where. There are no longer the famous dogfights that were fun. Top Tier planes in this moment is "Warthunder Radar Missil Kill" lately I've been having fun with the SAAB J29F Tunnan (i have the premium J-29D but i dont like), and other planes between the BR 8.3 / 9.7.
yes same, except where i have every plane, but i have completed 3 nations trees and anything above 9.7 is unplayable for me, i hate getting sniped from 8km away from someone i cannot even see, between 7.0 and 9.0 is the best jet experience imo and props are still super fun. Why does f104j have no flares at 10.7?!?!?!!
I've been playing since 2015 but I only have top tier air in America and almost high tier tanks in Russia and Germany (Leo 2PL tho) and I find myself enjoying tier 2-4 a LOT more than top tier.
Just kind of a fact of life for modern jets, BVR rules from the F4 on. It will only get worse as they add more and more modern stuff. If you think now is bad wait till the AIM-7M (20mile kills are very possible) and AIM-9M with its 40G's of maneuverability and all aspect capabilities. I don't think they'll add the phoneix as that'd be just too op. But well this is Gaijin we're talking about. (imagine a 19G missile with a lethal range of 50NMi on fighters that you don't get a launch warning for)
I have an idea, when you’re stock in let’s say an F-4E phantom. You’re about 10.3, when you unlock the rank III in upgrades such as aim 9js you should then go up to 11.0. So BR depends on mods you get
Stock F-4E should be 10.7 instead of 10.3. But other than that, i totally agree with the idea (also applicable to planes) Probable examples would be the F3D-1 having a modification labelled "F3D-1M" that gives it the ability to use AAM-N-6a (aka AIM-7A) + increased BR. F-4E could also probably have the leading edge slats changed as a modification instead (as they were only added in the mid 70s, the E existed way back in '65)

I have been strictly in my Me 262’s before and those were my best jets at the time 7.3 br overall. I was getting actual players using harriers and A4-E earlys both ranked a entire 2.7 br higher than me in my games!!! Its bullshit

@@spoon3990 oh yeah the amount of money i spent to get a DCS setup. I went extra and got a ful T16000 hotas+pedals setup, that alone was 195. Afterwards its the cost of whatever modules you want but honestly if you really love a aircraft DCS does it justice. Personally ive gotten more enjoyment out of the DCS F5E than i will ever get from the War Thunder variant.
They flat-out lie about their "stats" The only stat they really care about is the EARNING RATE ! Gain too much SL too fast, get the "balance BONK" Premiums has to keep earnings high to be "sell-able" and TT ones to barely float above a certain threshold
In fairness it has a sub-par RADAR, no countermeasures and it can only carry 2 IR missiles. It would be completely outclassed by an F4EJ Kai or the Viggen. The Lightning should be fighting F-104s, early-mid MiG-21s, F-8 crusaders, etc.
A 0.3 decompression means nothing at this point. It will make top tier jets a bit more playable, until next patch at best, but the rest of the jets stay compressed to hell and back. The top BR should be moved to 12.0 as a start, with F-4EJ Kai and the Viggen being the first planes at that BR.
The Turkish air force did infact equip their F-104 S with AIM-9 J's. It wasn't a modification, it was simply a matter of it could carry them, but Italy never equipped them with it. Kind of the same crap with gaijin giving the F-4 F early AIM-9Js. I absolutely love the F104S now and it is an absolute monster. I put together a pretty epic montage of the F104S, and it definitely needs needs to be at 10.7
About the su17 and all the jet bombers that going up in Br the raison for that is because of the new airfield I played a lot of jet bomber and what I do is go fast- bomb base- return to the airfield- either j out or takeoff (only attackers can intercept me) I used to do bombing bases in the su17: I can literally spawn - go March 0.99 - bomb 2 bases - turn and return to base (and not a single jet can catch even in 11.0) In end the increase of survivablity of those jet lead them to getting up Br For me it a positive change
As someone who did exactly this for the previous event I can tell you this is not going to be viable anymore because of the new Radar missile meta, I could barely do it when only brit Phantoms had pulse doppler.
The BR changes already have changed ( before the release of the video ) and most of the changes in this video isn't happening anymore Yak-28b>staying at 9.3 104's> only the italian going to 10.3 Vautour > not moving anymore Mig's 19/21> not moving and much more.

Even if it is in the hands of an experienced player you got 60 rounds of a Nr30 cannon which loves to spark planes and 2 r3’s which do almost nothing. The Pfm whoever can be a different story but the Gsh it has makes the plane very heavy and can easily be dodged while in the f40
i doubt that the ones that played crap planes, really made all that much of a differance. but on a side note of their F'ed up stats, i played the 109 F4 (BR 4.0) for 15 matches in a row. one of the games was BR 4.3 two was at 4.7 and the other 12 was at a BR of 5.0 yay matchmaker

Having played the yak28b, it is really hard to be killed. You can from spawn using 20/30 minutes of fuel you can rush bases at Mach. You can easily do 2 bomb runs no problem and not die. I will not be surprised if it’s repair cost starts going up.
Instead of having strokes and migraines with the trash non sequitur digit br system, how about eras for tiers and time model/upgrades for order. I know, heresy, right... tightening things up so certain R3 things don't happen is just so bad and eebil. Getting rid of straight up blatant time traveling saves a lot of hides -German M48 lower than American, stock 1953 F40 Saber with the potential to get plowed in the bussy by Harriers because lol gaijin- .
With a basic understanding of statistics it's so easy to see the majority of issues seem to be from a lack of controlling for any variables at all, uptiers/downtiers and sample sizes. With simple considerations of variables the statistics would be useful, but still not perfect, ideally you get the statistics (controlling for variables) to give suggestions based on the data, then get the data reviewed by people who play the game and understand capabilities. The problem seems to be effectively powercreep too fast for the top BR increases, what we need to do is stop asking for newer planes and newer weaponry without getting higher BRs to account for the better weaponry and capabilities.
I wish planes like the g91 and a4b would have different brs in ground rb and air rb, it’ll make the most sense, I honestly feel all attackers should have two brs for air and ground
They also bumped up the J29F and it faces phantoms mig 21s and yak 38s in bulk and it can’t outrun the missiles, it’s guns don’t stand a chance and it only has aim 9b equivalent. They even bumped up the repair cost as well by almost 5 thousand so now there’s no efficient way to grind the Swedish tree without spending money

Well, saying this after the BR changes have happened, it's broken. There's no other word for it - broken. There is no reason for the F-4C to be at 10.0 other than to make everything at 9.0 suffer. Moving the Spitfire IIa and b to 3.0 and 3.3 is a slap in the face. The only reason they're good is because they turn well and some players climb and most Germany players are thick and turn with the Spitfire. The Bf-109F1 at a lower BR (I'll come to that in a sec) can out climb, outrun and outgun those Spitfires and even the Spitfire Vb that are over a a BR above it. Spitfire Vb Trop to 3.7 is just sad, and with the stolen Italian premium trop at 3.3 it's insulting. Spitfire F.24 to 7.0 is madness. Meteor F.3 to 7.3 makes it useless, it is too slow. The Vampire at 7.3 was impotent, it had pitiful thrust levels that meant you were side climbing for most of the match to get energy and nothing is left when you get there. Swedish Vampire at 8.0 is even more sad because its exactly the same as the RAF Vamp. There are only 4 BR changes in the last 3 patches (that's as far back as my brain can go XD) are these, and 2 of those changes are reversing cock ups Gaijin made last year with patches: Mig-15bis to 8.7, reversing the decision it made last year to move it to 8.3; Sabre F25 to 8.7, also reversing the move it had to 8.3 last year; ITP to 3.7 where it is still able to wipe the floor with most planes; and the Bf-109F1 to 2.7 where it is apparently equal to the Spitfire Ia even though the F1 has the same climb rate as an F4 and can out run the Vb in level flight. They need to stop basing BRs on player stats before the Mig-21F-13 is at 8.0 and facing the F-89D Scorpion. They also need to balance premiums with the tree planes, because I am super salty about the Italian trophy Spit Vb Trop at a lower BR than the UK tree plane even though the only difference is the roundel.
The last time i saw a Mig21PFM it tried to climb with AOA, almost accidentally TK'd me with a missile and then proceeded to die without accomplishing anything. Truly a bad plane indeed
I wonder if the jump in BR for various bombers is due to people spamming them out in sim to grind out the newer planes making loads of SL/RP in what often turns into tranquil battles of take-off/fly to target/bomb rinse and repeat.

Looking specifically at the changes to aircraft... Bro I absolutely give up on this game lmfao. Gaijin are missing more than a few braincells and it is painfully obvious.
I also just want to point out that the F9F-2, and F9F-5 if I’m not mistaken, are still at 8.3. Meaning that straight winged naval planes that can hardly get to 600 mph are going to fight supersonic swept wing aircraft. Now I know not a lot of people play them because they aren’t that good, but I enjoyed playing them. Now I don’t really know what to do with them now that I’m going to be fighting super sabres and mig 19s.
I was playing this weekend, putting my B-57A to work, and I got at least three matches against Sea Vixen's. I know they're not the same BR's and it was so frustrating whenever I'd be flying and all of a sudden just explode because some guy in a Sea Vixen was taking advantage of a downtier
Here's a balancing idea. make whatever br the vehicle is originally only face vehicles .3+ or - . and here's another fix, allow players who want more sl and rp to choose to bump up their vehicles br in matchmaking to +.5 for a 15% boost and if they really want a challenge anything over +1 br increase give 30%. but if you want to meme the M22 against top tier its still just 30%. Still need to balance out br of some vehicles but this would satisfy alot of players i think.
FYI people, the changes have been updated, most noticeable ones: - MiG-15 bis and Sabres F that were 8.3 will go back to 8.7 - MiG-21F and PFM stay 9.3 - Su-7B will go to 9.3 - The supersonic movement to 9.3 (like F-100s) has been reverted - ATGM planes like G.91s and A-4E stay 8.7 - Bombers won't move up - Italian F-104G will move to 10.7 (from 10.0) - I can't find the F-104S... surely it won't stay at 10.3 Noticeable ones that did not change - F-4C going to 10.0 - Sagittario to 9.0 - Spitfire mk24 to 7.0 There's this one that I didn't see earlier too: - A-7D to 10.3
About the F-104S, the Turkish F-104S/ASA could be armed with AIM-9P-3 missiles, or essentially export AIM-9Js, so they went ahead and deemed it okay to add them since there were 104S’ that carried them in real life, even if they weren’t Italian Starfighters. Or at least so I’m told, from the forums
It was so much fun getting on the game after months and fighting f-80s and other early jets and 7.0 br planes when my best plane is literally a J21A-2 and another J21. Went from a 4.3 to a 5.0 but im still fighting planes a entire 2.0 br above me! Awesome job GAYJIN
I swear, sometimes the smartest thing to do in a full up tier is to land and exit. When getting roffle stomped is a virtual certainty AND you are going to be left with a sky high repair cost for the privilege, the best way to protest is to exit.
I hate how I am both responsible for getting the PFM from 10.0 to 9.0 and the J21 from 3.3 to 4.0 where it isn't even usable anymore against people who know what they are doing. I am quitting playing the PFM because, while I enjoy flying it, I feel bad for curbstomping 8.0 and 8.3.
The yak 28 has a total of 60 countermeasures and goes mach 1 +, and since the Rolands guard airfields, you don't get strafed. The aim 9 b's and e's that it faces will easily be dodged or directed by flares/chaff and it can out-climb just about anything at 9.3 so i think (personal opinion) that 9.7 is better than it getting a higher repair cost..
Some of the difficulties, particularly with American jet BRs, seems to be both because Gaijin refuses to space out the planes more, and that Gaijin wants to get to the planes people love or will want to pay money for. Where's the "Century" fighters, Delta Dagger/Darts, the F-105s, and so on for example? They fit between the Phantom/Harrier generation, and the Saber/Cougar generation, but they're not fan favorites and so are just entirely skipped. On the other hand, I do think Gaijin may want to pull from paper and prototypes a bit for smaller nations, as the cold war saw the decline of many nations that produced notable WWII lineups, and I really don't want us to just see copies of the US and USSR stuff at high tier forever. Another thing on Gaijin's inability to change based on how stuff plays... they moved the XP-50 up. Think about it, in a world where higher BRs tend to have worse turn rate, they moved a twin-engined fighter that people complain about out-turning... to a position where it will out-turn even more things. The only real nerf I've felt is that it can't keep up with stuff as much, but it shouldn't be able to... except when it comes to altitude camping bombers who should be punished for the excessively passive gameplay that they often exhibit and are even encouraged into.
I feel a little worried that I caused the Yak-30 to go up because I half spaded it, saw no one else use it, and got carried by my team every match, only getting a kill in like 3 of them.

Can you explain why nothing is being done about J32B? It used to be magnificent when there were a barrier between 9.7 and 10.0 but since it doesn't exist anymore it is extremely sluggish, expensive and slow against its rivals.
I hope they reduce the repair cost alongside with Battle Rating adjustment. Wanna take out my MiG-21 Bis but its too expensive and not a lot of room to learn.
So now that there are more powerful aircraft at 10.0 like the F-4C, the Harrier Gr.1 (Premium one with SRAAMs) will face them. And when it eventually gets bullied because its kinda ass now a days (despite being absolutely fantastic and broken when it came out) it will get moved down to 9.7 and then seeing as they will still likely be forced to 10.0 most matches it migjt even get taken down to 9.3. And when it finally gets away from the Phantoms again it will be facing MiG 15s and Sabres again. That thing is gonna club once more.
They should lower the jaguar gr.1 to 9.3 or keep the mig19’s at 9.7 because the jaguar is the only counter britain has to the mig19 other than the hunters and the only good hunter is now at 10.3 because of its missiles
What bugs me with the F-4C is they could go back and update it with AIM-7Es and AIM-9Js, maybe let it upgrade the radar into being an F-4D and be pretty on par with the newly updated MiG-21MF and SMT. Maybe give it flares and chaff along with the F-4F early because nothing that sees top tier should not have countermeasures. Like this entire set of changes just never ceases to boggle my mind.
Also hey the F-86F-35 is 8.7 with absolutely no countermeasures against any sort of missile, and not equipped with any missile... compared to other aircraft at it's BR or a little under who do...
Problem: ground and air are linked closely, so increasing the max br of one will affect the other a lot. This does not mean I disagree, I would even go further and ad at least 12.0 especially to decompress jets, the BR in ground won't go much higher (just by looked at the technology we are at) BUT it will need to be adjusted to help air decompression .
I think the only props that needs some looking at, would be the Wyvern and XP-50. Maybe I am biased or ignorant, but, personally facing them when I decide to play props, I think they both just don't slot is well (balance) into their current BRs. Regarding Jets, I have no idea why the German CL-13 A and CL-13 B are not getting any love at all...
I bought the premium japanese sabre a few months back to better grind down the japanese air tree, so i've been playing almost exclusively with a sabre for several months and it has been nightmarish. it is an 8.7 vehicle with two aim9bs which for some reason put it up at 9.7 when things like the german G91R/4 are 8.7 with twice as many missiles. At 9.3 you're almost always fighting early mig 21s and other second generation aircraft which vastly outperform any first generation aircraft. This is a problem for every other gen 1 aircraft past 9.0 and for some reason the snail thinks that is okay for gen 1 fighters to face gen 2 interceptors. With the addition of the chinese A-5 it's become even worse. A sabre can't dodge a 30g missile.

funny, i regularly talk in the chat and complain about the game and I've never even gotten a warning. also people who regularly call out "cheating" are generally just bad players who got outplayed and can't accept it, I'm level 100 probably twice over and I've encountered so few cheaters.

@@missingthe80s58 If you are playing any tanks around BR 8.3 or higher, which using APFSDS would suggest, then laser rangefinders and the recently added automatic vertical aim will mean very consistent hits at any range. Also, thermals are effective for spotting through bushes or even behind cover, as it makes engine exhaust visible. Getting scouted by a light tank will also make oneself visible to everyone on the enemy team.

They love statistics but are allergic to context. So far as admitting that the points people were making made a lot of sense but it didn't matter because it doesn't say so on the spreadsheet.
I wish they also considered play rate at least when doing BR changes. It would avoid situations like the CL-13 where a few players can move a vehicle up. If few players are playing a vehicle there is usually a reason, and it's only good/high skill players left using it

They also said in the response that they aren't gonna lower the CL-13B's BR bcs of statistics. Great, a Sabre with only 2 AIM-9Bs is still fighting supersonics daily. It can't even catch the Harriers/AV-8s in a straight line & they have a much better missiles + flares + airspawn at the same BR. It literally feels like an uptier in every single match even when you're fully downtiered.
While I agree that it probably shouldnt be at that BR, I still manage a lot of kills in mine when I use it. Granted, this probably says more about farming idiots in premium f-5c/av-8/j35c/harrier gr1 than any ability of the aircraft, but ehh. Its a fairly decent experience to fly them still - at least till you get to the end of a game and get stuck in a 1v1 against someone competent.

I've been playing warthunder since 2013 and I have all tanks and planes from all nations, but at this point I stopped playing top tier planes because I don't enjoy it. Before the radar missiles still played, but now it is impractical, we are killed without knowing where. There are no longer the famous dogfights that were fun. Top Tier planes in this moment is "Warthunder Radar Missil Kill"

I've been playing since 2015 but I only have top tier air in America and almost high tier tanks in Russia and Germany (Leo 2PL tho) and I find myself enjoying tier 2-4 a LOT more than top tier.

Just kind of a fact of life for modern jets, BVR rules from the F4 on. It will only get worse as they add more and more modern stuff. If you think now is bad wait till the AIM-7M (20mile kills are very possible) and AIM-9M with its 40G's of maneuverability and all aspect capabilities. I don't think they'll add the phoneix as that'd be just too op. But well this is Gaijin we're talking about. (imagine a 19G missile with a lethal range of 50NMi on fighters that you don't get a launch warning for)
I still think they need to have a separate BR for aircraft when taking them into tank battles.

I have an idea, when you’re stock in let’s say an F-4E phantom. You’re about 10.3, when you unlock the rank III in upgrades such as aim 9js you should then go up to 11.0. So BR depends on mods you get
only issue would be speed, if you choose to run stock you can literally outrun anything at that br
Stock F-4E should be 10.7 instead of 10.3. But other than that, i totally agree with the idea (also applicable to planes)
Probable examples would be the F3D-1 having a modification labelled "F3D-1M" that gives it the ability to use AAM-N-6a (aka AIM-7A) + increased BR.
F-4E could also probably have the leading edge slats changed as a modification instead (as they were only added in the mid 70s, the E existed way back in '65)

I have been strictly in my Me 262’s before and those were my best jets at the time 7.3 br overall. I was getting actual players using harriers and A4-E earlys both ranked a entire 2.7 br higher than me in my games!!! Its bullshit

Gaijin has been the reason ive slowly stopped playing War Thunder, but air rb has been so stale it actually caused me to switch over to DCS.
I’m about at that point but I could still ge an entire research tree for less than the cost of a dcs setup
@@spoon3990 oh yeah the amount of money i spent to get a DCS setup. I went extra and got a ful T16000 hotas+pedals setup, that alone was 195. Afterwards its the cost of whatever modules you want but honestly if you really love a aircraft DCS does it justice. Personally ive gotten more enjoyment out of the DCS F5E than i will ever get from the War Thunder variant.

It's funny how the only aircraft in game currently capable of supercruise is not fighting a single top tier due to gaijins statistics (lightning f.6)
In fairness it has a sub-par RADAR, no countermeasures and it can only carry 2 IR missiles. It would be completely outclassed by an F4EJ Kai or the Viggen. The Lightning should be fighting F-104s, early-mid MiG-21s, F-8 crusaders, etc.

A 0.3 decompression means nothing at this point. It will make top tier jets a bit more playable, until next patch at best, but the rest of the jets stay compressed to hell and back. The top BR should be moved to 12.0 as a start, with F-4EJ Kai and the Viggen being the first planes at that BR.
The Turkish air force did infact equip their F-104 S with AIM-9 J's. It wasn't a modification, it was simply a matter of it could carry them, but Italy never equipped them with it. Kind of the same crap with gaijin giving the F-4 F early AIM-9Js. I absolutely love the F104S now and it is an absolute monster. I put together a pretty epic montage of the F104S, and it definitely needs needs to be at 10.7

About the su17 and all the jet bombers that going up in Br the raison for that is because of the new airfield
I played a lot of jet bomber and what I do is go fast- bomb base- return to the airfield- either j out or takeoff (only attackers can intercept me)
I used to do bombing bases in the su17: I can literally spawn - go March 0.99 - bomb 2 bases - turn and return to base (and not a single jet can catch even in 11.0)
In end the increase of survivablity of those jet lead them to getting up Br

Having played the yak28b, it is really hard to be killed. You can from spawn using 20/30 minutes of fuel you can rush bases at Mach. You can easily do 2 bomb runs no problem and not die. I will not be surprised if it’s repair cost starts going up.

Instead of having strokes and migraines with the trash non sequitur digit br system, how about eras for tiers and time model/upgrades for order. I know, heresy, right... tightening things up so certain R3 things don't happen is just so bad and eebil. Getting rid of straight up blatant time traveling saves a lot of hides -German M48 lower than American, stock 1953 F40 Saber with the potential to get plowed in the bussy by Harriers because lol gaijin- .
With a basic understanding of statistics it's so easy to see the majority of issues seem to be from a lack of controlling for any variables at all, uptiers/downtiers and sample sizes.
With simple considerations of variables the statistics would be useful, but still not perfect, ideally you get the statistics (controlling for variables) to give suggestions based on the data, then get the data reviewed by people who play the game and understand capabilities.
The problem seems to be effectively powercreep too fast for the top BR increases, what we need to do is stop asking for newer planes and newer weaponry without getting higher BRs to account for the better weaponry and capabilities.
I wish planes like the g91 and a4b would have different brs in ground rb and air rb, it’ll make the most sense, I honestly feel all attackers should have two brs for air and ground

Well, saying this after the BR changes have happened, it's broken. There's no other word for it - broken. There is no reason for the F-4C to be at 10.0 other than to make everything at 9.0 suffer.
Moving the Spitfire IIa and b to 3.0 and 3.3 is a slap in the face. The only reason they're good is because they turn well and some players climb and most Germany players are thick and turn with the Spitfire. The Bf-109F1 at a lower BR (I'll come to that in a sec) can out climb, outrun and outgun those Spitfires and even the Spitfire Vb that are over a a BR above it. Spitfire Vb Trop to 3.7 is just sad, and with the stolen Italian premium trop at 3.3 it's insulting. Spitfire F.24 to 7.0 is madness. Meteor F.3 to 7.3 makes it useless, it is too slow.
The Vampire at 7.3 was impotent, it had pitiful thrust levels that meant you were side climbing for most of the match to get energy and nothing is left when you get there. Swedish Vampire at 8.0 is even more sad because its exactly the same as the RAF Vamp.
There are only 4 BR changes in the last 3 patches (that's as far back as my brain can go XD) are these, and 2 of those changes are reversing cock ups Gaijin made last year with patches: Mig-15bis to 8.7, reversing the decision it made last year to move it to 8.3; Sabre F25 to 8.7, also reversing the move it had to 8.3 last year; ITP to 3.7 where it is still able to wipe the floor with most planes; and the Bf-109F1 to 2.7 where it is apparently equal to the Spitfire Ia even though the F1 has the same climb rate as an F4 and can out run the Vb in level flight.
They need to stop basing BRs on player stats before the Mig-21F-13 is at 8.0 and facing the F-89D Scorpion. They also need to balance premiums with the tree planes, because I am super salty about the Italian trophy Spit Vb Trop at a lower BR than the UK tree plane even though the only difference is the roundel.

I also just want to point out that the F9F-2, and F9F-5 if I’m not mistaken, are still at 8.3. Meaning that straight winged naval planes that can hardly get to 600 mph are going to fight supersonic swept wing aircraft. Now I know not a lot of people play them because they aren’t that good, but I enjoyed playing them. Now I don’t really know what to do with them now that I’m going to be fighting super sabres and mig 19s.

I was playing this weekend, putting my B-57A to work, and I got at least three matches against Sea Vixen's. I know they're not the same BR's and it was so frustrating whenever I'd be flying and all of a sudden just explode because some guy in a Sea Vixen was taking advantage of a downtier
Here's a balancing idea. make whatever br the vehicle is originally only face vehicles .3+ or - . and here's another fix, allow players who want more sl and rp to choose to bump up their vehicles br in matchmaking to +.5 for a 15% boost and if they really want a challenge anything over +1 br increase give 30%. but if you want to meme the M22 against top tier its still just 30%. Still need to balance out br of some vehicles but this would satisfy alot of players i think.

- Bombers won't move up
- Italian F-104G will move to 10.7 (from 10.0)
- I can't find the F-104S... surely it won't stay at 10.3

About the F-104S, the Turkish F-104S/ASA could be armed with AIM-9P-3 missiles, or essentially export AIM-9Js, so they went ahead and deemed it okay to add them since there were 104S’ that carried them in real life, even if they weren’t Italian Starfighters. Or at least so I’m told, from the forums

I swear, sometimes the smartest thing to do in a full up tier is to land and exit. When getting roffle stomped is a virtual certainty AND you are going to be left with a sky high repair cost for the privilege, the best way to protest is to exit.
I hate how I am both responsible for getting the PFM from 10.0 to 9.0 and the J21 from 3.3 to 4.0 where it isn't even usable anymore against people who know what they are doing. I am quitting playing the PFM because, while I enjoy flying it, I feel bad for curbstomping 8.0 and 8.3.
The yak 28 has a total of 60 countermeasures and goes mach 1 +, and since the Rolands guard airfields, you don't get strafed. The aim 9 b's and e's that it faces will easily be dodged or directed by flares/chaff and it can out-climb just about anything at 9.3 so i think (personal opinion) that 9.7 is better than it getting a higher repair cost..

Some of the difficulties, particularly with American jet BRs, seems to be both because Gaijin refuses to space out the planes more, and that Gaijin wants to get to the planes people love or will want to pay money for. Where's the "Century" fighters, Delta Dagger/Darts, the F-105s, and so on for example? They fit between the Phantom/Harrier generation, and the Saber/Cougar generation, but they're not fan favorites and so are just entirely skipped.
On the other hand, I do think Gaijin may want to pull from paper and prototypes a bit for smaller nations, as the cold war saw the decline of many nations that produced notable WWII lineups, and I really don't want us to just see copies of the US and USSR stuff at high tier forever.
Another thing on Gaijin's inability to change based on how stuff plays... they moved the XP-50 up. Think about it, in a world where higher BRs tend to have worse turn rate, they moved a twin-engined fighter that people complain about out-turning... to a position where it will out-turn even more things. The only real nerf I've felt is that it can't keep up with stuff as much, but it shouldn't be able to... except when it comes to altitude camping bombers who should be punished for the excessively passive gameplay that they often exhibit and are even encouraged into.

I feel a little worried that I caused the Yak-30 to go up because I half spaded it, saw no one else use it, and got carried by my team every match, only getting a kill in like 3 of them.

9:13 ive gotta say the f100d going to 9.3 is great,its very useless in an uptier but decent and somtimes good at its proper br,but the f104s with aim 9js with one being lower then the other in br is absolutely fucking stupid
The A4E early air to air missiles only hit if the enemy is flying straight if they slightly turn the missiles say by im going the other way

I understand that F104S go up to 10.7 since it got AIM9J but I hope they can let it have vulcan and AIM7E at the same time
so much fun flying the german MiG 21 at 10.3, out of my 20 last game with it all were at 11.0 and got killed about 15 times by some phantoms i can't even see from 20km
The F-104S got AIM-9J as the Turkish Air Force fitted their 104S' with AIM-9J. I believe the wiring and cooling solution on the 104S is capable of firing AIM-9J.

Can you explain why nothing is being done about J32B? It used to be magnificent when there were a barrier between 9.7 and 10.0 but since it doesn't exist anymore it is extremely sluggish, expensive and slow against its rivals.
I hope they reduce the repair cost alongside with Battle Rating adjustment.

the f-104s never equipped the aim9j sidewinders, only the ASA and ASA-M had aim9Ls. it's a fantasy loadout a-la-F-4F
So now that there are more powerful aircraft at 10.0 like the F-4C, the Harrier Gr.1 (Premium one with SRAAMs) will face them. And when it eventually gets bullied because its kinda ass now a days (despite being absolutely fantastic and broken when it came out) it will get moved down to 9.7 and then seeing as they will still likely be forced to 10.0 most matches it migjt even get taken down to 9.3.
And when it finally gets away from the Phantoms again it will be facing MiG 15s and Sabres again.
That thing is gonna club once more.
They should lower the jaguar gr.1 to 9.3 or keep the mig19’s at 9.7 because the jaguar is the only counter britain has to the mig19 other than the hunters and the only good hunter is now at 10.3 because of its missiles
What bugs me with the F-4C is they could go back and update it with AIM-7Es and AIM-9Js, maybe let it upgrade the radar into being an F-4D and be pretty on par with the newly updated MiG-21MF and SMT. Maybe give it flares and chaff along with the F-4F early because nothing that sees top tier should not have countermeasures. Like this entire set of changes just never ceases to boggle my mind.

Also hey the F-86F-35 is 8.7 with absolutely no countermeasures against any sort of missile, and not equipped with any missile... compared to other aircraft at it's BR or a little under who do...
Problem: ground and air are linked closely, so increasing the max br of one will affect the other a lot.
This does not mean I disagree, I would even go further and ad at least 12.0 especially to decompress jets, the BR in ground won't go much higher (just by looked at the technology we are at) BUT it will need to be adjusted to help air decompression .
I think the only props that needs some looking at, would be the Wyvern and XP-50. Maybe I am biased or ignorant, but, personally facing them when I decide to play props, I think they both just don't slot is well (balance) into their current BRs.
Regarding Jets, I have no idea why the German CL-13 A and CL-13 B are not getting any love at all...
I bought the premium japanese sabre a few months back to better grind down the japanese air tree, so i've been playing almost exclusively with a sabre for several months and it has been nightmarish. it is an 8.7 vehicle with two aim9bs which for some reason put it up at 9.7 when things like the german G91R/4 are 8.7 with twice as many missiles. At 9.3 you're almost always fighting early mig 21s and other second generation aircraft which vastly outperform any first generation aircraft. This is a problem for every other gen 1 aircraft past 9.0 and for some reason the snail thinks that is okay for gen 1 fighters to face gen 2 interceptors. With the addition of the chinese A-5 it's become even worse. A sabre can't dodge a 30g missile.
