@@keymind117 ye I don't think so, Viggen is mid at best in comparison to the top 5 and there won't be any better jets coming to the swedish tree that will be relevant in anyway...
No, they have good nose authority, not great/fantastic, and only at low speed. Plus, the 29 has was more authority than the 16. They aren't overtired, these ppl are misusing their plane and fighting to your strength.
@@niggalini nah, all I did is avoid their nose when they still have energy to 1 circle me while i keep speed and give them a false sense of easy angles to shoot, after some passes I can force the 2 circle
Slowest plain of 11.7 ''f4 kai Phantom II''
sorry but "incredibly powerful at 11.7" is just wrong
American main?
This plane eats jets for breakfast.
All jets at 11.7 and 11.3 bar the tornado and a few other jets are all dependent on pilot style rather than outright performance
Correct, its decent but lacks...
@@Entrailraider how does this even make sense
Well spit i can tell you where i wasnt looking.
AINT no way the F16 and MIG 29 were 6 months ago 😂
First?! Thanks for all the great vids Spit!
Glad you like them!
Fun fact the aircraft is nerfed bc 11800kgf and not 13000kgf
how long would you say the grind is?
Never ending lol
how you can switch the rockets
It barely makes the 5th spot in a top 5
Wrong
@@keymind117 You got the F-14, F-16, Mig-29, MLD and Mirage 2000, maybe it competes with the last one but barely...
@Balthasar Gelt I think with its loadout and nose-authority, it is definitely placed above the MLD and Mirage. I would argue in many ways it's even more viable than the F-16. I have the F-16, and it struggles against jets it would dominate IRL. It is limited and gimped to a level it should not be within War Thunder. If Gaijin allows it to pull 1.5x the IRL G-limit like all the other fighters, then it will undeniably be top-dog.
it doesnt even make the 5th spot.
@@keymind117 ye I don't think so, Viggen is mid at best in comparison to the top 5 and there won't be any better jets coming to the swedish tree that will be relevant in anyway...
RB71s are skyflashes not sparrows
In wt the skyflash is basically the same as the aim-7E2. iirc irl the only difference is electronics
Can we have a vid about the phantoms plz?
Dam it burns a lot of fuel ⛽️
Is there a spit flyer squadron
Yes they are NIGEL, N2GEL and N3GEL
Can we get a video on f4j phantom 2 with its new hmd and upgrades❤
Play Saab 105 it’s actually crazy in the new matchmaker for some reason
The F16 and mig 29 have fantastic nose authority, have you even played them
No, they have good nose authority, not great/fantastic, and only at low speed. Plus, the 29 has was more authority than the 16. Also, just to be clear by "nose authority" he means instantaneous turn rate and AoA. Both of which the 16 lacks quite severely. That's the way it should be tho, the 16 until the C models didn't have very good instantaneous turn rate and even on the C models its AoA isn't very high, it's not meant to be, it's not meant to fight that way.
I know what nose authority is, and that's simply not true, manage the after burner and rudder below 800km then open up the air brake and you can do whatever you want, yes they suffer at above mach but only in turn radius, and even then there arent many planes at any tier that can remain above mach after first turn, I'm just not understanding the bad wrap when atleast I personally haven't expirianced the same problems everybody else is and that's mostly because i go 0 throttle at the beginning and do as mentioned above and i can and have out flew everything i fight exept missiles, now theres a question of pilot skill on the enemy's part but it's fairly consistent
@@connormoylan2466 you clearly did not properly read my comment so I'm not going to reply for now. Let me know when you finish reading please. I saw "800 km" (it's km/h btw) and instantly knew you didn't properly read, I clearly said slow/low speed at least once.
Yep and I mentioned the suffering at above mach witch is fixable, there may still be something I misunderstand but I dont think it suffers as badly as the reputation it's got
Ohh the poor mig and F16. Try being in the Tornado is this meta. :/
Nice vid though.
Hopefully when the Tornado ADV comes to game it should be better
@@MrAnt2004 yeah, I hope so. But it sucks for anyone who went to the effort of grinding the GR1, when the harrier GR7 is just better in nearly every other way.
Tornado IDS in the TT was the biggest waste of time. Grinding that shit just to realize it's absolutely dog water. At least the F-104G was somewhat enjoyable at 10.7.
@@DeckerdBR that's true, I know that pain
@@derkaiser9881 I think it was added to the game too late
great videos but damn, you can turn off steam notifications for friends playing games
what can i see in your statistik k/d? mig29 138/66, f-16 128/51, f4ej 231/89 and ja37d 67/37. does so realy good swedish jet? ja37 is worst at 8 tier.
by that logic, (which is based on some statistics ill admit), would make the f4ej the best, which it obviously is not.
At top tier, he said the Saab has mediocre acceleration, low top speed, bad energy bleed, but that it has 2 things going for it which is a high AoA (making it a good one turn dog fighter) and an excellent loadout with its extra large countermeasures and 6 missile loadout (4 Ls and 2 Sparrows).
So play to its strengths and it should begin to excel.
And where Spit did claim it’s the best? Because I believe that he said everything but that. Also EJ Kai is already in game for more than year go taking it’s stats right now is just bad.
@@EnhancedCognition Ever since supersonics were introduced pilot preferences and strategy have been a bigger factors than straight outright performance. A good example was the F4E vs Mig 21
@@EnhancedCognition rb71 is mediocre rocket now. in general, 37D is in no way a competitor to mig 29 and f 16. all those missiles can have 37C. but gaijin wants players to open an unnecessary plane due to 9L missiles/
You forgot the F-14A with the highest KD of all of them (I’m out at the moment so just check the stat card)
If you know what a flare is, it’s extremely easy to defeat, energy-trap, and kill, a Viggen.
I don’t fear this plane at all.
What if the player has more than 5 brain cells and avoid
Bruh average American main
@@Entrailraider Typical Swede fanboy can’t make an original comment.
Actually, I have every Swedish plane except the Finish line and the Viggen-D. I do look forward to getting the Viggen-D and having to run away all the time because the enemy players have one briancell and a better plane. Cope.

There should not be any performance upgrade - the Ds are upgraded Cs. There is no change to the engine.
Spitflyer fan club
yeah, looking at this footage it is not how aim9l performs now... 1 flare and it goes 180...
since they nerfed Aim9L flare resistance the D is pretty much unusable anymore. i never die from a IR missile but I cant avoid the barrage of Aim7Fs and Aim7Ms
The F16 will cream the Viggen in a dogfight. The thrust on the F16 is enough to overwhelm the viggen in a dogfight in most scenarios
hi

mig 29 can win the game alone
bruh mig 29 in current meta is kinda trash. Dont get me wrong its not bad but other planes are just better
Says who? You get 2 fox 1s that work 70% of the time and 6 r60m that only gets kills when the enemies aren't looking..
I already proof it at my channel
@Bukhariez 1 game out of what? Because constantly going against f16 and f14 isn't going to guarantee a complete win no matter how good you are. The mig 29 is good, just not very consistent.
@@Ghost-tw7xw And the consistency really kills it ngl, r-60's will miss if the enemy throws a warm rock out the cockpit and the r-27er's just fuckin miss with a perfect lock so it takes 2 to kill 1 dude sometimes. Defyn or Spit whichever one said that the r-60m's were perfectly fine at top tier and esp on the mig-29 were out of their mind.
