Heard about that Bantha toy from UsualMikeTV. Looks like it's going to be cool! Heard some years a go after the first Star Wars played in theaters it was either at Marine World Africa USA or Sea World, they had a big life-sized Bantha on display that I think kids could sit on.
Just wanted to say that was a great thing you did for Michael Mercy. That mint on card leatherneck made his day I could tell. He is a good guy and so are you. Nice act of kindness doing that. Loved him unboxing the stuff you sent in his vid. Your a stand up guy. Keep up the good work.
All your figures are so cool but the signed print and the gripping hand sculpt are just gorgeous. The Action Man artwork can stand on it's own with any other framed art. True treasures for a man that sincerely loves that toy line. Great video, Tony. Cheers!
I have some PALITOY ACTION MAN... they are great action figures! I also collect spanish Madelman, MEGO Combat Man and MATTEL's Big Jim. In Spain were popular the small series called as ACTION FORCE in 1982, 1983 and 1984.
Bloody brilliant stuff!! Thanks for showing us these amazing pieces, especially that incredible gripping hand from Bob!! We just interviewed him for our podcast recently and your name came up. Thanks again for these videos, Tony, superb stuff!!
I adored those palitoy SAS Action Man sets when I was a kid. I had the helicopter and Key Figure, plus a multitude of equipment sets including the weapons cannister. Wish I had somehow held on to them!!! And the artwork on those sets and all the action man figure boxes is absolutely stunning!!!
Awesome video👍 I really want one of those custom Banthas. Your collection is amazing🤘 The astronaut figure was my favorite, I've a soft spot for outer space. Cheers
I only had a few of the classic collection G.I. Joes back in the mid 1990s. I still have my original British SAS G.I. Joe from 1996 with all of his gear and weapons.
Really like your videos. That’s an awesome sculpture to have. Plus that art of the helicopter. Brilliant. Love it. I found you and Michael Mercy on the same day and have been subd and watching you both ever since. It’s great to find fellow collectors with the same passions I have about collecting vintage toys. Thanx for being awesome!
Great video as always, Mr. Tony! Never knew of the Action Man Zorro- or of the Action Force Membership Card. The Missile Assault Trooper is a real scene stealer. Hope you'll consider a video on Action Force in the future.
Another awesome video Tony! Zorro was a huge favorite of mine as a kid, watching the tv movies on TBS were a lot of fun. Sadly where I lived I never found a Zorro action figure. I guess the search is on again. Take care, Tony. Toy Smuggler.
As you know, the GI Joe's in Canada and the States, became Adventure Team, after the war-toy backlash created by the Vietnam War. I was lucky enough to have English parents, and every trip to the UK resulted in me coming home with an Action Man, or having Action Man items sent over to Canada by Grandparents. I had the British Soldier with the black beret and the FN, as well as several other items. I became a bit of a GI Joe legend in the neighbourhood, by having modern military GI Joe/Action Man toys while my friends had the civilian adventure toys.
If the sculpted hand is the rarest...wouldn’t that make your collection the best in the world? I know you still have missing pieces but still...I think that puts you over the top 😲
Hi Tony watched your live stream great loving all these action man talks just to say have your thought of doing a video on the rarer action man box's got a talking commander from 1979 in near brand new condition belive it is an hard one to find hopefully hope to see you do a vid soon on this ste UK take care
I would have loved this line if I had grown up with it. So detailed. In the states large GI JOEs ended much earlier I think, right? Anyway other than mego I grew up with strictly 3.75 inch figures but I really enjoy your videos.
I completely forgot about the hand! My father had tendon problems with his pinky finger; I remember thinking how cool it was that Action Man had it too.
Great pieces....SOOOO Jealous Hasbro didn't mirror PALITOY and release more of these figures in the US. Maybe American kids wouldn't have identified with British ceremonial and military figures but they certainly could've elaborated on the late 60's SOTW (Soldiers of the World) line as well as the Adventure Team! Keep it coming Tony.
Wow! Those are some amazing pieces Tony! Congratulations! I know you really enjoy that line and we all enjoy learning about them. Even though I do not collect that line of figures the one I would want the most would be the outer space outfit! Figures it is one of the rarest sets! Lol Of well I better just enjoy your stuff!👍😁 Tony, do you believe that some of these sets are hard to obtain because back then kids opened up everything and played with there toys? I think the 80’s seem to be a start for a larger group of people leaving there toys in package. What do you think? Thanks Bill
Hey Bill, usually what makes a set rare is actually it's lack of popularity back in the day. When certain sets didn't sell very well Palitoy would cut back on the manufacturing of those toys so there just weren't as many made. The Missile Assault is rare because Palitoy only produced a limited number of sets before pulling the plug on Action Man.
Would love to have that missile assault uniform in my collection. The rarest item i have in my own Action Man collection is a 1985 Japan only release of the Green Beret by Tsukuda which i hope to do a video on in the near future.
Hi, thats cool. take a look at my uploads if you like, i have vintage Action Man & Geyper Man reviews, box openings and fix it videos. Leave a Comment or a like & Subscribe if you wish.
Great video keep them coming. I recently purchased a complete working boxed Team Control Centre it was hard to find. I had to pay up for it but I love it. How rare is this item?
I thought it was kinda rare. I also had a opportunity to purchase some Action Man collector guide books and I remembered you made a video about the the best books to buy. I watched it again and I won a auction for the three Alan Hall books and the one you said don’t buy was up for auction also that I didn’t buy. Thanks to your video I got the right ones. I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate what your doing because it helps guys like me plus I like seeing the toys. Thanks
Question! I've got an old action man in a box somewhere, but my action man had blue fixed pants on, as my brothers had none , I never could understand why , I had the deep sea diver and found the rubber suit hard to put on a kid, then my baby sitter found some patterns and made some outfit's , the cricket one was the best , I remember that the head came loose lol, this video was a blast from the past, cheers
What no love for Heshen cyborg TAKARA's licenced version of GiJoe /Action Man. That line descended in to Microman/micronauts who merged in to the Transformers toy line.
Some nice pieces, Tony. That hand sculpt is super cool.

Awesome 👍 so cool that you have pieces from the creators of the pieces themselves. Thanks for sharing Tony!

Thank you!
That's such a cool story behind the gripping hand sculpture!
All your figures are so cool but the signed print and the gripping hand sculpt are just gorgeous. The Action Man artwork can stand on it's own with any other framed art. True treasures for a man that sincerely loves that toy line. Great video, Tony. Cheers!
Great video as always. I did one 6 years ago and must get round to updating it.
Great video! Analog toys is down right awesome.

Is it weird i now want to make a Duskfox Z-force custom for my action force shelf?
Your gripping that hand like Action Man himself would Tony, and hardly surprising.

watch my Story of Action Man documentary
JUST PURCHASED FIELD COMMANDER BY PALITOY..RADIO HAS EVERYTHING TERMIALS ARE DIRTY..BUT NICE CONDITION!❤
What does the bull whip look like?
The Zorro one is different?
Looks like there was a Zorro Action Man? I see something that looks like Thing from The Addams Family?
I miss Action Man and I miss WA.
who would thumb this down?
Probably some one who was offended because he was called action man, therefore assuming his gender lol.
Another rare action man is the original German paratrooper. Very hard to find and very expensive
sorry about your helmet
I can remember as a child another kid having a caveman style figure with a bear hug to grab action man. Is that a rare item for collectors nowadays?
It was called the Intruder and is pretty easy to find these days
@@AnalogToys Just had a look on Ebay, it looks as creepy as I remember! 😱
