    I'm so excited for todays video, as it has been highly requested!! Whoop Whoop.
    Today I'll be showing you guys how I use a hair pick to achieve lots and lots of volume. I know the idea of picking your hair can be a little scary and intimidating so I really hope you find this video helpful.

    I have a writing hobby and I'm trying to write a scene with two characters playing with each other's hair (as a bonding experience) but I had no idea what that would look like for someone with naturally curly hair. Your video was super helpful thank you!

    I have a white mom and she never really knows how to deal with black hair. I never got to hang out with my dads black side of the family, so when i was growing up it progressively got worse. Now whenever i brush it It gets disgusting and frizzes insteads of curls. I have no idea what to use either for shampoo or anything. Been like that for the last 15 years. I only keep it in a pony tail because its just frizz and absolutely disgusting. If you have any advice PLEASE reply cause I have no idea.

      Also don't let your mom brush your hair. As someone with curly hair, you shouldn't brush your hair unless its to detangle when its wet. Look up the curly girl method and explore with hair products that will help you as you start transitioning to your natural curls/coils

    Gorgeous as always. I feel like i have similar hair to yours so i would like to know what kind of cut do you do for your hair? In my area a deva cut is expensive AF. Also can you do a video on how you manage your hair when you sleep to maintain your curls?

      @jennyborrego6841  6 років тому +2

      Kimberly Calderon Thank you my love! I really appreciate it. I can totally do a video on that! Super good idea! My haircut is done by a Ouidad stylist and they do what is called a Carve and Slice technique. Try looking on their website to see if they have a flagship salon near you. Curly haircuts can be a little more expensive but remember you're only cutting your hair like 2 or 3 times a yea!!!

Or maybe have a convo with your stylist and make a vid while she cuts you....Since I moved away from my fabulous stylist I can find NO ONE who can cut my hair in the right way and my curls and volume definitely suffer aka I look like a wet poodle or like i have cocker spaniel ears....:( . It’s called an Afro pick. It’s not a hair pick.

    I’m new to this (learning how to handle the hair I’ve always had 🥲)
    BUT I feel like there’s some other things you could do to get that volume before you pick. And THEN get even more volume when you do pick. If you wanted.
    There’s a science to our curls but I haven’t gotten enough of the facts yet
