I love your video- I chose it over the others specifically because of your picture; it’s personable! Until I discovered sofrito and recaito for sale at the grocery store, I had never heard of it. I tried the sofrito in a tomato/black olive pasta dish last night and loved it. I also used hot chili oil in it for the first time. I think my culinary skills improved by 75%!
I am disabled from a neurological disease and am old. It hasn’t stopped me from wanting delicious, flavorful and nutritious meals but it does make cooking a challenge at times. I also can’t afford to buy expensive premade sauces. I looked up recipes for both sofrito and recaito today and found there are dozens to choose from. Some suggested making it up in quantity and freezing it. Do you have an opinion on how well it will freeze? Should I cook it before freezing or after? Recommendations included using a food processor or blender for chopping- that is a must if I am going to make a quantity to freeze. Please understand that standing on my feet is very painful. 😢. Do you have recommendations for the type of onion, peppers, olive oil and salt to use? I truly want to thank you for sharing your skill. I would love to still do it the correct way.
I haven’t looked at your other videos yet but that’s next. I saw a recipe for Spanish style Lima beans. I’m from the South in the US- any dried beans and peas are a “must have” in my diet! I’m glad that I can afford them! 😊. Merk

Sounds like somebody has an attitude. You won't get far like that no matter how many euros you shell out.

I'm afraid I don't get your comment. What are you talking about? If you refere to the pictture it was a joke and, LOL, what euros am I flashing around? I have received complaints that my video is too long and my commentary was addressed to those whom cannot find the patience to learn something for free. After all, it's a cooking video...
